I joined this program because I love helping people and being of service. I also believe humility is the best teacher and I know a farm has the ability to humble me and bring me back to center.

Skills I Want to Learn:
I joined WWOOF on the suggestion of a dear friend in NSW ... and straight away it felt like the lifestyle for me. I believe I've already addressed much of what I'd like to achieve in the previous question, but perjmhaps I may indulge and expand upon the national community initiative I'm involved with. Called My Place Australua and established by Darren Bergwerf, we are a bunch of like minded people, misfits, dreamers, black sheep and free souls around 12000 strong now. We innetstand that the greater human collective is not in very good shape at all, and that indeed some entitled, wealthy and influential parasites both on the public and private sectors are behaving very dishonourably and not in good faith, in violation of laws and rights, criminally and fraudulently, to usher in a technocratic authoritarian global governance of the unelected that sees their little club ever more controlling and overreaching into the lives of good and honest Commonwealth subjects forced into servicing generational debt slavery, taxed literally to the death at every turn, required to be licensed or consenting to disturbing levels of regulation and over reach very negatively dispossessing most of inherent and inalienable rights, freedoms and liberties, and leaving the notion of self determination in how we all interact and contract within community a distant memory. Parents are filled with fear and not as available to their children, the elderly atmre farmed out to decline and pass in mostly undignified conditions, we have children barely out of nappies themselves rearing our babies ... and the cost is unacceptable in terms of how list, confused, void of identity, purpose and direction and so much more our youths minds and spirits ate left to become adults in the work, consume, entertainment rinse and repeat cycle. We recognise such conditions I'm the broader community as being nothing short of a clear and present threat to the broader growth of our species, and allowed to continue on its current trajectory, our silence becomes our consent and approval to allow a very very dark dystopian age to come fully into existence. Once in place and with technology where it already is, it may very well be an impossibility for the good people of the world to ever fully emerge out of or live fully as our Creator intended. We really are done with thinking and talking and sense an ever increasing urgency and seriousness in such matters. Our motto is PUTTING THE UNITY BACK INTO COMMUNITY". To achieve this end we know the focus has to shift to unity in action, in solutions applied ... it is no longer enough to think and talk in unity. So with that said the primary focus initially in our resist and push back on all this rubbish is for the individual to fully take account for and work towards being competent in nourishing physical, mental and spiritual health and well being ... natural and holistic alternatives that address causes not symptoms. Once our men and women have done the best by self in relatively small and achievable goals being reached, then the individual is most likely in a best possible overall space to bring his/her own natural strengths, talents, abilities and of course passion to the bigger, longer term collective striving to affect the change we all of know deep down needs to occur. Bringing pastoralist and graziers together in providing non GMO, heirloom and organic products to market, presenting to local council meetings and holding those unlawful governors to account, advocating in the courts, and keeping law enforcement honest. We know full well we shall never ever for a moment destroy or topple the system as it currently operates ... an organised network of pirates and gangsters in suits and ties break8ng la2s to make laws that serve their questionable aspirations ... a posse of gatekeepers where thos who make the laws protect those who interpret the laws both protected by the armed thugs that do nothing more than enforce what and who is creating and interpreting ... we don't print or hoard the wealth that pays for the perpetrators to be protected in carrying out their crimes. But we have a solution or two. We believecthat thete is so much that is important, functional and needs to stay that exists in the current system ... we need to keep, but change, and continue to mould effective systems, procedures, processes and institutions ... for example Medicare, Superannuation and Aged Pension, Welfare, Hospitals and Medical centres with competent engaged well trained staff, primary, secondary and tertiary education institutions and so so much more. But it needs a total peeling back and resetting with control and influence back in honourable good and clean hands, for all or any of it to be effective, productive, efficient and respecting of rule of law, lawful due process and those with authority to enforce that law. As for the rest of it, this broken, corrupt, colluding, and miserably failing threectieted system of governance, rotten and evil to the core, no longer truly nationally Sovereign but absolutely a blend of corporate wraith, power and influence having no separation from governance, actively working the best interests of everyone not in the club. We seek simply to turn our back on all that is offensive and repugnant to our core nature and sees us living under guardianship and unfettered surveillance and control. Indeed we seek in every way possible to turn our backs on that rot and exist in parallel ... exiting the urban centres and repopulating our regional parishes, bringing lost life and energy back whete its most needed ... totally from a mindset of self determination prepared to compromise reluctantly as required to keep certain things in place ... but we now choose how we interact and contract with one another... we define what value we place and how on our blood sweat equity, no more top down authorities instructing us on how we live and die, but a round table of influence and leadership where every voice must be heard equally and often at a round table. What has brought us to this point in history creatively repeating itself once more and quite deliberately by design is at least a four to five generation effort ... and we would be fools to believe any of this will be even close to discovering a full and complete rectification in our lifetimes ... undeniably to restore and renew to acceptable order itself will require a consistent, organised, very diligent and vigilant course of action from many over multiple generations ... but what's at stake of being list or polluted and stolen from the unborn through apathy and complacency, lack of recognition of duty, responsibility and obligations in our conduct. For myself personally I cannot perceive a more challenging and worthwhile cause to be a part of ... what a wonderful opportunity and time to be alive than to call oneself to action ... reluctantly and begrudgingly yes ... none of us really likes to bear such burdens of leadership and being under the spotlight ... but for me I see no more noble and honourable an opportunity than to be a part of that posse that drew that line in the sand and became ANZAC again ... because something needed to be done and everybody had a part to play. I believe done right there is opportunity for all to bounce a grandchild on their knees and fondly exaggerate and embellish the part they played in the great resist and even that for me is enough to remove all comfort and convenience and just bloody well get on with something very important that needs to be done. We already ate and can become so much more than we've conditioned to accept ourselves as being ... it's time to remember and reactivate all that and it's a very urgent matter. So in summary I guess I've joined WWOOF because in terms of the My Place Australia initiative, I believe I may discover ways and means of peacefully but very effectively, at the very least catalyse an ongoing situation whereby through giving the best of all I have to give voluntarily, in regional communities and with particular focus on youth, with my needs of nourishment and shelter being the reward to comfortably and confidently do what I perceive as being my little bit in all of this. It May provide the ability to explore all around and inside this great nation of Terra Australis in an organised, composed, deliberate, non reactive and hopefully relatively stress free manner. Now for me that's one sure fire way to live free and liberated and unbeholden to any ... whilst at the same time achieving goals and change that matter folks ... not just to me in my life but in the hope of more and better for all the yet to live ... the unborn that should not pay the price for a generation or two that stuffed things up pretty royally when it was their turn to guard and protect that which took much spilt blood to bring about.

I joined woof to help find work towards my second year visa in Australia so I can continue my travels around the country. I really enjoy outdoor work and like being out in nature. Back home in England I was a Manager at a clothes store very much an indoor job so Hopfully WWOOF can help me find more farm/gardening jobs. In Melbourne I worked mainly at the F1 as a labourer helping set up and take down. After the F1 I worked for a removal/renovation company called Specific.

I'd like to go woofing to share unforgettable moments, help the hosts in their daily work and learn and share a new culture. Indeed, woofing seems to me an excellent opportunity to combine my love of nature and agricultural work with travel, as I love spending time in the great outdoors. For me, woofing is a way of learning and meeting local cultures by working with local hosts, which makes it an attractive experience. What's more, woofing is an urban escape for me, allowing me to get away from the city and its hustle and bustle, and woofing will allow me to develop my social skills, resilience and ability to adapt to other environments, as well as getting out of my comfort Finally, this will be a real opportunity for me to improve my English and my self-confidence. Woofing will also allow me to discover new landscapes and regions, and to understand the different production processes and respect for nature.

Volunteering with WWOOF seemed so ideal as we hope to have the opportunity to see more of Australia, experience different ways of life, interact with animals, and hopefully give back to the country we have fallen in love with!

I would love to have this experience now that my children are grown up. Especially as the farming knowledge I will gain will stand me and those around me in good stead in these end times we are moving into. I have been working on upping my fitness level!

I am Kazuaki, a 29 year old male from Japan, and I came to Australia in December 2022. I came here to experience agriculture overseas. I came here because I studied international agriculture at Tokyo University of Agriculture during my university years. I worked as a pruner at a blueberry farm in Tasmania for two months in June and July. I would like to participate in WWOOF to experience firsthand the importance of different farming experiences and the importance of nurturing living things!

I want to migrate from my actual career and I think that with a volunteer work it would be the best way to learn and get experiences and know more like minded people. Other reason that makes me happy to join WWOOFing is to know that I will be helping the organic farming scene to grow.

Heard about WWOOFing from friends and thought it was a great alternative way to travel. I would like to try something new, meet local people and experience a different way of life spending more time outdoors!

Because I enjoy the idea of combining traveling, learning and working. For me that is a perfect way of delving deeper into the culture of a specific country and getting to know its people. Additionally it is a more sustainable and slow way of travelling with the side effect of learning more about one of my favourite interests - organic gardening. A perfect chance to exchange experiences and looking at things from different perspectives.

My name is Camille, I am a french backpacker on a WHV in Australia. I am easy to live with, sociable and funny person. I like to meet new people and discover new cultures around the world. I would be glad to find a native family in order to improve my english. I love adventure and travel the world. I have experience as a waitress, bar back, runner and I worked in an oyster factory. I don't know what to say but I have to talk enough in order to reach the one hundred fifty characters required to validate my profile haha. I love to dance, climbing in bouldering, go to the gym, listening podcast, paint, travel, meet my friends. I am always curious about learning new things. I prefer to eat than to cook. I would like to live an unique experience with a genius and crazy (in the good way) family in Australia. I would like to join wwoof because I am looking for a job counting for the 88 days. I enjoy the time with my friends. I am 23 years old, studying biological engineering.

Oh wow, big-time question. Well, I hope to achieve...something in my life, so I would say, it's a great start! No, but seriously, I'm just ecstatic at the perspective of travelling, meeting new people and learning new stuff every day. I want to be able to go to bed at night and simultaneously tell myself, like : "I can die happy now." and "There is so much still to see and experience.". I'm just really willing to put myself out there, meet some amazing human beings among other creatures, learn about organic culture (especially, permaculture) and go on and spread that kindness and knowledge somewhere else after that. I think my energy, my curiosity, my experience and/or my will to learn something new everyday could benefit so much more than just my wonderful self and reach other people and vice-versa. I just want to experience life through the beautiful perspectives and possibilities that wwoofing has to offer for a while and maybe become a host myself some day 🙂 enjoy and give it back to the community, you know?

To experience volunteering across varied communities and areas. We are moving to Australia to experience different cultures in different states for a year. Before we complete our last years in our careers and then retire, we wanted to have some fun while we are fit and healthy still!

I joined WWOOF because I want to be able to travel the world specifically by being able to volunteer at farms and locations that allow me to get in physically and make a difference. This will also allow me to meet some amazing people and share in their lives and help to enrich both mine and theirs. I am hoping to achieve a better understanding of permaculture, working on farms, better understand the countries of the world, and help others.

I value learning new useful things, and that’s what I think I could find in an organisation like this. A good and very environmentally minded friend told me about woofing and I thought I should definitely give it a try.
