When i am visiting a new city / country i love and always try to blend in with the local culture and way of life. It's a huge source of inspiration and nourishment for me. This is why I joined this community, i wanted to experience another way of traveling. I look for good energy and good people. I want to learn to use my hands, to get back to the source, the earth, which sustains and enables life. Curious and eager to learn about everything, i will be very grateful for all the techniques you could teach me.

WWOOFing allows me to travel the more rural parts of Australia, see the nature and get to know amazing people. You gain so many new experiences and skills and meet amazing people, that‘s why I like it so much.

I am passionate about agriculture and would love to experience Australia's renowned organic farming firsthand!! It is widely known that Australia is abundant not only in agriculture but also in magnificent nature and wildlife, and I hope to immerse myself in that environment. I also have an interest in Australian culture and through interactions with the host, I hope to fully enjoy the Australian experience. I am eager to meet wonderful hosts and am genuinely looking forward to the opportunity to communicate and connect with you.

There are various reasons why I have chosen WWOOF. I would like to gain knowledge in areas such as permaculture, animal care, sustainability and self-sufficiency. Acquiring knowledge and building them into skills that I could use throughout my life and share with others would be extremely meaningful to me. I believe spending time working in those areas with those willing to share will bring me much happiness and a great sense of purpose and belonging. Last but not least, being taught by passionate people sharing their way of life and building relationships with them will positively impact me.

Looking for some nice jobs on Australian farms, I´m not afraid of hard work and have already done all different kind of jobs in Germany during my studies. I like to meet new people and gain new insights into farm work or animal care. I joined WWOOF because I did not make good experiences with organizations that find you families or jobs for a lot of money. So, I´m looking forward to finding new people and oportunities with this platform 🙂

I signed up for Wwoof because I mainly want to plan the start of my trip to Australia and want to experience the typical work and travel experience. I like the concept because you have contact with a family and can support them. I'm also looking forward to getting to know working on a farm and, ideally, taking care of lots of animals. Of course I also want to see as much of Australia as possible.

I have very little farming experience, so I am WWOOFing with the mindset of a student eager to learn. Two summers ago, I read a fascinating book "The Omnivore's Dilemma" which talked all about the food industry in America. Afterward I became very interested in healthy/organic eating and have wanted to try a self-sufficient lifestyle. Currently I go to college but I have no plans for when I graduate. So, now seems a better time than ever to travel, see the world, and explore the realm of agriculture at the same time. I will be in Indonesia in February and March and plan to hop down to Australia from April-June.

I have a few months off before starting my new job and wanted to use that time to travel and experience something new on a low budget. Wwoofing sounded like just the right thing. Being able to explore new places, connect with new people, work with my hands and not just my head, and having a lot of time to also just be sounds absolutely perfect for the season that I am in right now. Australia has always been on my bucket list so it would be a dream to actually be able to go and experience the laidback Aussie lifestyle.

The place I was born and raised is surrounded by mountains and has a lot of nature, so I've always loved nature. However, since I had never been involved in farming, I wanted to try my hand at farming. I want to cherish this experience even after I return to my home country.

I joined WWOOF because I would like to work and stay on (small) farms in Australia. It is an interesting cultural and educational exchange.  Even though it is hard work on a farm, the idea brings me a feeling of freedom and peace. I am looking forward to stay in one place for a while, to work, and to be surrounded by nature.
