During my 3 years studying in Brussels i've done differents universities and work in differents places as a student to make a bit of money. I want to take the opportunity to explore the world now that I have a lot of time available, before all the obligations that i'll have in the future. I want to discover others lands, find myself better and meet others cultures! The 2 years of pandemic that we lived and the actual situation of the world (politic and climatic) made me want to leave my little city and discover the world and all its differents ways of living as much as I can.

I have joined WWOOF to learn new skills and gain experience working in a farming environment. I would like to immerse myself in the Australian culture, live with the hosts on the farm and learn all about farm life and experience something I haven’t experienced before. I hope to get in deep contact with locals, families, and communities during my woofing. I am happy to support with my skills where needed and be part of my hosts daily life.

I joined WWOOF to try and find new experiences within Australia. I love my hometown but it’s very small and I just feel like I can’t be who I truly am here.

To experience Australian WWOOF farm as a host of South Korea and I am greatly interested in farms managed by permaculture ways. It must be nice for me to understand situations in wwoofers’s perspective rather than hosts. Also I want to make Australian farmer friend and invite them to my farm in Jeju island some day!

Hi there! Well when I was eighteen I stumbled onto a farm in Sri Lanka and ended up staying three months. At the time it was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. I was a boy, very lonely and afraid and surrounded by foreign language speaker. So it was a very introspective period of my life. Anyway, looking back on that experience, I now realise that it was probably the best thing I have done in my life. The farm was converting over to organic, but this wasn't easy as the soil was pretty heavily degraded after years of chemical use. Also the farm wasn't producing much income so we had to be pretty creative in our approach. My proudest achievement during my four months in Sri Lanka was digging a well (by shovel). It's interesting, over eleven years later that is now my full time job. I wonder if one day. I can go back there with proper drilling equipment and help them to install a well that will last generations.... Jack

My ambition is to join the French Air Force. For this, you have to pass competitions, in particular one in English. My medium school level does not seem sufficient to me. My goal is to go alone to Australia to improve my English. I have been working in France for a few months to finance my work/trip. I choose Australia because it's an English-speaking country and this country makes me dream. I register on this site to be in permanent contact with English speakers and to be in total immersion with the Australian people and their customs.

Honestly I joined WWOOFing out of sheer interest. Because I didn't hear of it before. But now I am pretty keen about the concept of it. Because it helps me to learn something completely new and I hope I can help you with you day to day tasks. It's also really nice to learn about Australian lifestyle and I'm sure as hell, if I will stay with you I will tell you some stuff about Germany.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
