We have heard many positive stories of WWOOFing. The ethos of WWOOFing resonates strongly with us. We are keen to meet people with the WWOOFing attitude and generosity who are willing to share their experiences with us. We are keen to give and grow.

I want to get involved, volunteer my time to help with your work. I  love meeting new people, exchanging stories and skills. As I mentioned, I love manual work, so I am looking forward to spending time doing some handy work, gardening, construction, and repairing!

Because i've felt the need to do more practical, hands on work and be in a more natural setting. Also having the opportunity to travel around and meet new people is ideal for me.

I would like to join woof because it seems to me to be one of the best ways to immerse myself in the local culture, to learn new things and to satisfy my desire to be useful. I find it a good way for me to learn but also to exchange and share my experiences with other people.

I would like to experience Australian live in ways that go beyond on being a simple tourist. This is why I find WWOOFing a great opportunity to discover Australia firsthand and meet and enjoy its culture and people. I am interested in living on a farm and learning new skills. I am sure that through WWOOFing I will form a better understanding of nature, farming, and animals. Finally, I hope through working with WWOOF I will experience wonderful memories and leave a good impression on others as well gain meaningful friendships.

I feel my best bet is moving towards off-grid living, so my best investment is in skilling up to make that possible. Put simply, I am looking to equip myself to serve community. Organic farming, animal husbandry, building, plumbing, electrical, mechanics - any skills are desirable, and I learn quickly. I would be happy to stay with you and exchange learning for productivity. We're all in this together.

I think this programa it's a great opportunity to learn new skills, and to meet some interesting people. I also like the idea of being in contact with nature and away from the city. In the last few years I have been doing a pretty intelectual work an I am feeling the need of a more feet to earth work using my body.

I heard from a friend that she takes WWOOF to get in touch with locals people and explained me how it works. I like the idea to get in touch with locals and get to know a new culture. I think there are so many works as a volunteer that are very interesting. You can make many experience there and learn for life.

To build a better relationship with the soil. I grew up in a city (İstanbul), then worked at a desk for 10 years - I'm seeing how not sustainable this life is, and looking for inspiration on alternative living and working options. WWOOF seems to be a great opportunity to learn that.

I did woofing back home in the UK and greatly enjoyed it. I want to learn more about rural life in Australia and alternative ways of living sustainably.

I joined WWOOF to gain some valuable experience in the farming industry, that may also help me find paid work later on in my travels to extend my WHV. Also, as the whole farm work experience is fairly new to me, WWOOF appeals to me as I hope to learn a lot from supportive hosts, whilst also not having to worry about the soaring costs of accommodation in the cities. Also, I grew up in a fairly rural area, and want to get off the beaten track whilst here in Australia to sample some of the beautiful places that are outside the main centres, and working amongst them just seems like a huge experience that is too good to miss out on.

I joined WWOOF because i always wanted to try it but i never had the chance to. This is my first travel alone, and it’s the better way to discover a country, by the people who live in it. I would want to bring back home some new capacities that only WWOOFERS can offer, permaculture, gardening, building technics etc. and to be able to use those capacities in my village in France when i will come back. Thank you for reading me!

Because I appreciate very much the WWOOFing system that I experienced already previously in Australia. I would like to learn how to tend a vegetables garden and will be glad to share my knowledge of other idioms if people are interested. I am interested in any aspect of the living in the country.

I have previous wwoofing experience in Estonia 2017, which was one of the best time in my life. Since then I always had in the back of my mind that I want to be a wwoofer again. It was such a good feeling to work close to the nature, do hard work and be helpful for others. Also I am open to learn more about organic farming and ideas about global sustainability.

We joined WWOOF because we feel that it is a great opportunity to learn about life's most important topics, which include the production of the food that we consume every day. It's also great way to work with animals and get to know them better. Besides that we feel that it is also a cost effective way to see other parts of the country, which would have probably stayed unexplored.

Whilst we were looking for farms to buy and we stumbled across this website on google and would love to meet like minded people and learn from the expertise. We love the concept of volunteers and farms being able to connect with each other. We are hoping to obtain vital information so that we can either buy an already established organic farm, set up our own organic farm or convert a farm into an organic farm.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
