I decided to join the WWOOF Australia program because I really like helping others, volunteering is something very important to me. The WWOOfing will also allow me to complete my desires to discover the local culture of certain regions of Australia. I like to work outdoors. I am also used to working for a long time and in sometimes difficult conditions. I have been practicing English since I was a child (mainly at school), so I will do my best to integrate myself with the people who welcome me. I will also do my best to share and introduce them to my culture... and delicious French wine ;))

I read about organic farming and permaculture and would love to learn more about it. How to live with the land and sustain this planet in the most positive way. Being not only in nature but becoming a part of it is one of my goals during this trip. I hope to learn a lot about the usage of medicinal and edible plants and take this knowledge back home to spread the organic love.

I join WWOOF in order to meet new people and live new experiences. I particularly like nature and animals, but I have not yet had the opportunity to discover the world of farm work or agriculture. Besides, WWOOFing seems to me to be the best way to improve my English, an indispensable tool for travel and exchange with people.

For a new experience and a chance to try a few different skills. To meet other volunteers who can be potential travel companions going forward on my trip. To experience a ‘normal’ work/life experience in a foreign country and really get to live in a location instead of just purely visiting. Also a good way to cut down some costs and save some money whilst travelling

I am coming in Australia for a year and I wanted to start this trip with a WWOOFing period. Firstly because I need to upgrade my English in view to find a job after. This is also a good occasion to live outside a city for a while and discover the life of authentic Australian people. I also like physical activities and I would like to keep my body in good health with this and good air. I would really like to find a host that takes care of many animals, I love this kind of company and as a city dweller I am a little bit frustrated by seeing so few.

I knew WWOOF from high school. My school did it. Through this, I think I'm still really young. So I think experience is more important now. I don't want to make money now. I want to see and feel the warm heart and way of life of WWOOF comunity. I am also interested in self-sufficient agriculture.

Now I'm seeking for a heartwarming retreat from the hectic city life I had it for too long! And also it is my first time in Australia, so it will be a good opportunity for me to get used to your laid-back (well, compared to East Asian standards...) Aussie lifestyle. Most of all, I LOVE ANIMALS!

The only things I have ever missed when traveling is being able to really meet people and learn in the places I am visiting. I have lived in the city so long I realized that I don't have a lot of knowledge about growing food or being educated about biodiversity. I had a friend who had an amazing year wwoofing and I have been determined to make it happen ever since! I am really hoping to just be as present as possible and take in as much experience and conversation as I can. Mostly I'm just excited to be a part of it and try new things!

I want to join WWOOF to get closer to nature and offer my help to farmers. I want to be able to learn from the know-how of the workers of the land and get closer to the values of our planet. I like to exchange and share and the WWOOF is also the way to spread values of respect for the environment. I am committed to protecting our Earth in all that it has to offer us. I am of a simple, joyful and dynamic nature and I want to live a unique and full of life experience.

I have never been abroad and thought this would be an amazing experience. I am studying English and want to train to speak English with people. And I like the idyllic countryside.I want to experience a different life, get to know a lot of people, and do something different. And I want to improve my planning ability through the experience at WWOOF.
