Learn about natural farming methods. I’ve always wanted to design a space for growing my own food, and ever since I got into earth building, I’ve decided I want to create an earthen kitchen/restaurant that grows its own food to feed the community simply and cheaply so that everyone can come in and experience a natural earth structure.

to offer me an incredible opportunity to immerse myself in new experiences. Working on organic farms introduces a different way of life, in harmony with nature. In addition, WWOOFing allows you to travel while having meaning. Explore new places while actively contributing to sustainable agricultural practices. Working on the farm also promotes the development of new practical skills. Meeting the locals is another rewarding aspect of WWOOFing. It offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture, discover traditions and customs and connect with the community.

I want to experience new adventures, meet new people, improve my English and learn new things and skills. I am looking for my new professional career and while I am waiting for the turning point, I would like to go on an introspective journey and I think there is no better way to do this than by experiencing new things.

I was recommended to your site by some friends who are Hosts. They know I like to keep busy doing whatever needs to be done. I'm well travelled and like to learn about new and different cultures finding ways that are eco-and environmentally friendly and sustainable to produce a cleaner and better world . Not only for this generation but also for the future.

I joined WWOOF as it will bring a more exciting element to travelling around Australia. I'm also a big fan of WWOOF as it promotes sustainable living, which I'm very passionate about. I also feel by staying and working in interesting new places it should give more a much deeper understanding of Australia compared to staying in Hostels.  Joining WWOOF will also bring a new opportunity to meet new people of the same mindset. I also enjoy physical work outside.

I joined WWOOF because I thought it could give me the perfect chance to experience a different side of Australia. Especially the fact that I won’t only work but also live on an organic farm here in Australia appeals me. Besides, I hope to get to know more local people and less tourists or only other work&travellers. But anyway I’m very open minded and curious about the experience and people I will get to know.

Skills I Want to Learn:
I have a passion for honoring, respecting, and living in union with the land and that is partially what has brought me to WWOOF, I also am going to school to finish my prerequisites for acupuncture school and am seeking travel to gain new perspectives on the world around me. I also would love to learn more about what it takes to tend to an organic farm, living in unison with the seasons is something that is really beautiful to me. My family has practiced organic gardening since I can remember but I would love to gain a larger perspective on what it takes to be apart of an organic farm.

I've joined wwoof because I think it's a great way to get exposure to new people, places and experiences. I'm keen to learn about working with the landscape rather than against it using sustainable and regenerative practices from growing produce to harnessing energy and natrual building methods.

Eventually, I would like to gain my first working experience in Australia. I would like to contribute to the country during my stay in Australia on my Working Holiday Visa. Volunteering for accommodation and meals seems like a perfect way to start.

I want to learn more about organic farming, permaculture, nature conservation, off grid living and traditional building. I'm interested in living in a smallholding/intentional community in future. I've been part of several land-based projects in Bristol, including working at a farm with adults with disabilities, as well as working at forest school holiday camps. I’ve also volunteered for a community market garden and wildflower nursery. I really enjoyed this experience, and want to build on the basic organic growing and animal care skills that I've learned.

I joined WWOOF as it was recommended to me by a friend that I met travelling. I hope to meet new people, work on some meaningful DIY projects and see parts of the country that I likely otherwise would not have thought to see/explore.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
