WWOOFing is the perfect way for me to delve into plant cultivation, learn from others, and connect with people who offer unique perspectives on life. I aim to broaden my horizons and gather unforgettable experiences and memories from the WWOOFing adventure. Additionally, I hope to contribute to environmental protection through my involvement.

I joined WWOOF because I want to learn more about country and nature in Australia and experience other people's lifestyles and perspectives. It's also a really good way to travel around the country and see new places.

To meet like-minded people and find opportunities I'd otherwise skip by during my limited (and thus precious) time in the country. Namely, I'm very interested in learning about cattle & horse management, given that back home part of my family runs cattle in the highlands west of Madrid and it's something I never had the time to learn much about, despite of the curiosity I feel. Besides, and even a more important reason of why I joined WWOOF, I reckon, is ending up in placed and encountering people and ways of living I wouldn't have the chance otherwise, and that I wouldn't have even imagined that existed.

I am in Australia for ocean culture. Learn to swim like a dolphin, learn to surf like Andy Irons.To be at peace with myself. And above all meet great people every day. Our school is an experimental education school, so we have a special program called "Action Learning", which is learning through the world. Our theme for this project is to learn about the Australian farming and job experience and interact with the local people and culture through the work-stay program.

This trip is important for us, for our family, and we want to give meaning to this journey: working for associations, giving our time to helping families, woofing, meeting new people and sharing their local cultures. This is why I am registering on this site to help. Ludovic my husband is a very good handyman. He repairs, builds, finds solutions. DIY is his thing. The children are adorable, dynamic and love to help. They can help us in the garden, my vegetable garden, with tidying up, cleaning... as for me, I take care of my vegetable garden every year and love cooking. I would describe us as a dynamic family who loves to try new things. What would you need, and how could we help you?

I want to learn about organic food growing and farming. I also always wanted to work with farm animals and learn how to take care of them. I joined WWOOF to experience the farm lifestyle in Australia.

I joined WWOOF because I just have the best memories about it while my time in New Zealand. Traveling is fun but staying somewhere, getting to know the culture, the everyday life is just something different. I have been living in bigger (and smaller) cities all my life and just felt out of touch with nature. So I joined WWOOF to learn about farming, having a cultural exchange and learn about new things all while traveling.

I love learning new skills and meeting new people. Recently, I've been contemplating the idea of living organically and reconnecting with nature, as I grew up in the countryside until the age of 12. Since 2011, I've been living in Melbourne, but I feel like I've had my fill of city life. I'm interested in learning how to live sustainably and be self-sufficient, and I've come across WWOOFing programs.

We want to help out and experience local life around Australia. Our chemistry degree has taught us the importance of renewability and organic products and we feel really passionate about these topics.

I joined WWOOF to break free from my routine in Berlin, which was dictated by school the last few years. It's my way to gain practical knowledge about sustainable farming and make new connections. Plus, I get to explore Australia and gather new experiences. Another reason why I joined WWOOF is to grow before returning to Germany eventually.

I am  joining WWOOFing so I can travel to  Australia while being able to  gain work experience and meet people from all over the world,. My goal is to grow my knowledge, gain experience in diverse social, and cultural environments.  I am hoping this will help me to also gain the confidence and independence while working abroad on a farm.  I hope to form natural bonds with other open minded people from different countries, as well as grow as an individual.  I feel this will also help me to gain insight as to the career path that I wish to choose when I am come back to Canada.

Hi, I arrived a few weeks ago in Australia and would like to take part on a wwoofing experience, I think it's a nice fair exchange system, and a nice way for me to meet locals, practice English and permaculture and extend my knowledge. In exchange, I will do my best to take care of your garden/ property!

We're looking for cultural experiences, and by living and working with local hosts, we'll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a new culture, learn the local language, and discover different traditions and ways of life. We are sensitive to environmentally-friendly farming practices, which enables us to contribute to the preservation of the ecosystem. It's also a unique opportunity to learn traditional and innovative farming techniques directly in the field, on the job. Finally, woofing will enable us to grow personally through stimulating challenges that foster the development of skills such as problem-solving, time management, teamwork and interpersonal communication.

As a recent graduate, I feel as though it's my time to go out and experience more than the standard curriculum of schools and instead experience people and new things away from the States. I want to hopefully perfect my French and get a chance to learn other languages too, in addition to the ways of the land I will be working on. I adore traveling and WWOOFing would be the perfect, affordable way to fulfill this love. I hope to meet tons of new people and gain valuable life and work experience in general.

I have always been a keen gardener and have been trying to garden organically for a while now but feel my knowledge in limited in these areas, so one of the many reasons to look at woofing is to gain firsthand knowledge and skills from people who are running organic and sustainable properties. Reading theory is fine but I need to see how it works and to have a hands-on experience. I am also keen to travel and to meet different people as well as doing something to try and halt the environmental destruction surrounding us - think global, act local. I have always been a bit of an environmentalist including involvement in a number of community sustainability groups and the idea of helping others in their quest at an organic and sustainable lifestyle is extremely appealing. Now that I am retired and have time on my hands the idea of travelling to interesting places, meeting like-minded people and helping them to be organic, while also learning new skills myself sounds like a perfect thing to be involved in.

I'm on the working holiday visa and part of my family told me about wwoofa I felt it's perfect opportunity for me and I want to have a experience working in the middle of nature.especially beautiful country in Australia and intrested in a lot of different kind of animal and special species. very friendly and want to learn about how to live in the country side with respecting the earth.

WWOOF seems to be the perfect chance for me to travel this beautiful country but still escape the hectic and stress in a big city. As I really love being in nature, I can‘t imagine living in a city for long and I always try to truly perceive nature and lern more about my surrounding. I would love to meet new people that inspire me with there way of working on farms and I hope I can learn a lot.
