I am a person who likes to learn and who is looking to learn more about Australia. I arrived a month ago from Argentina on a Work and Holiday visa and I want to socialise and contribute with enthusiasm, make new friends and learn about everything. I am a very friendly, adaptable and energetic person. Now I am in Adelaide but I want to travel as soon as possible to the Island because I like it very much there. I like remote areas as I lived in a small rural town. I have studies and experience in the countryside as I studied agriculture in my high school and then I got a diploma in beekeeping. We did similar work to what you do and I would like to stay for a long time on Kangaroo Island. I am very interested in wildlife care as I am a nature lover and I am not afraid of animals and I love studying biology.

I joined WWOOF because I'm keen to meet locals, learn about local farming practices, and share my enthusiasm for gardening and hands-on work. It's a great way to connect with people, exchange knowledge, and get involved in the community. And of course I also hope to be a helpful addition to their farm. 🙂

I chose to join WWOOF to enjoy new experiences in volunteering, meet new people and create unforgettable memories. In fact, I've already spent four months volunteering in South Africa in 2023, an adventure that made me grow a lot. What's more, I think the WWOOF concept is perfect for students like me, as it gives us the opportunity to contribute to the development or projects of our hosts, while allowing us to immerse ourselves in the culture of the country. We are two engineering students in agronomy and environment looking for a 11-weeks (From February 5 to April 19 2024) internship in Australia. We are passionate about agronomy and all the issues it faced, animals and ecology. This country is facing different environmental issues and we want to learn from it. Wee can help in your farm with your daily tasks, and we can offer our expertise in order to create a relevant project in your farm.

We joined WWOOF because it is a great opportunity to learn about Australia and mostly because we want to explore a life helping animals and people on the farms. We’ve been dreaming about this for a long time and think we are able to be the perfect help on the farms due to our experience with different animals and our friendly personalities. We are hoping to get some great one-in-a-lifetime experiences and to connect to new people in Australia.

I can have the possibility to learn something about agriculture and bio, organic farm in general. I've always had a dream: having my own house sourrounded by nature where I can grown my own food, following the season and the time they need. And at the same time I can help someone that need a hand. We should always try to be a nice person, we don't have the reason to don't be polite. I'm sure that nice actions will be paid with good actions. You cannot stay serious when you see someone smiling!

Although stable, we found our careers rather unfulfilling and wanted a chance to travel, see how others operate and get more in touch with nature. We haven’t really had any experience with farming (except the occasional bit of gardening I used to do in pots at home). While reading up on farming, I found out a little about regenerative farming and how it creates a harmonious ecosystem for living which really resonates with me as an effective way to live while reducing harm and improving our lifestyle. We hope that on this journey we can learn more about how to apply this even in our lives back home.

My father had a farm in Kungyalu, Hungary. Since I moved to Germany with my mother, I had no opportunity to learn how farming works. I find this very unfortunate and would definitely like to make up for it and learn the work on the farm in more depth. Since nature is very important to me, I am particularly interested in organic and permaculture farming, I think the agriculture of the future can only be organic. Since I want to do my master’s degree in environmental physics, this is a great opportunity to get insights into the field.

Connect with organic farmers whilst traveling Australia full time with the family. We love to eat organic & know where our food is from, also if we can reduce our travel expenses that’s a bonus too.

To improve my English skills. I also want to take advantage of the power of action that can only be achieved while still young and gain many experiences that I would not be able to have in my home country. In the future, I would like to use the experience I gained here to welcome people from overseas who want to learn Japanese to Japan as woofers.

I'm not going to live on my own farm, and don't want the responsibility of running a farm permanently, but I like to dabble, and want to have a holiday of pretending to live a life I never lived.

By coming here I offer my help because I want to meet new people, discover the culture and learn new things. I take my work seriously and I am always there to learn something new. I would also like to improve my English because I have always been a bad student at school...
