Hi my name is Sarah, I live on the Sunshine Coast and work in a curtain factory in kunda park. I’ve always loved the idea of sustainable living and working outdoors and on farms. I have no experience in the matter but I am open to learning and will accept any job I’m given with the intention of giving 100%. I love meeting new people and getting to know their stories and history. I have always eaten organically, one day I hope to have my own farm that I can sustainably live on and be able to welcome people like myself to learn about the life they desire.

I joined WWOOF through AIFS and l am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic& Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

A French friend told me about Wwoof, and it made me want it. Being next to Australians, animals that I have never seen and magnificent natural landscapes motivates me. In addition, being able to feel useful is essential.

I'm travelling for meet people and achieve different knowledge, be close to the real australian culture and help someone with a good project, be part of their journey and open my mind on different technique of living.

I want to discover and develop new skills to start my professional life in Australia. Farms are also great places to meet Australians and people from all over the world and from different cultures.

I’ve beet to Australia twice in 2018 and 2019 with my family. We didn’t have an opportunity to go to a winery but we tried so many kinds of Australian wines. And that experience gave me interest of how to make wine and what the differences between wines. Now, my deep passion for nature, agriculture, and wine has given me a strong desire to immerse myself in the world of Australian winemaking. At the age of 29, this might be my last opportunity to work abroad and learn about winemaking and the differences between Japanese agriculture and that of other countries. There are three conditions I prefer when looking for a job, ① related to wine, ② organic, ③ working not just as one of the foreign workers, but as a close member like family. Even when I looked for a job on my own, it was very difficult to find the ideal job. However, I found WWOOF while researching how to work at an organic farm in Australia in Japanese and English. I was so surprised because WWOOF is exactly what I was looking for! Australia and Japan have four seasons and quite similar climates. Through WWOOF experience, I would be glad to learn wine making, and also, learn more about Australian people and cultures by living with them. My dream is to grow grapes myself in my future from a perspective that I couldn't see just by growing them in Japan.

We think WWOOFing is a wonderful way to connect to people and to learn and to contribute to the work others are doing to look after the beautiful planet we share.

I want to take this opportunity to expand my knowledge and improve my riding abilities. It would be a dream to live in an environment surrounded by horses and nature, and to spend my time taking care of and riding these animals, next to travel a little bit in Australia. I would like to know more about the opportunities available at your farm. If possible, I could appreciate information about the type of work I could do, how long I could stay, any potential costs or fees, and any other important details. (I have the visitor visa - till end of march) I am also interested to know if you require an application or references to assess my suitability. Thank you in advance for your attention. We have been requested by meany friends from all over the world that this is the best organisation to get us started in Australia. We hope to find good people who can teach us and show the best local places and way of living. We would love to be surrounded by nature and animals. Through WWOOF we also hope to find like-minded people who love traveling and to explore the world. We are hard working and hope to give a helping hand to whoever needs it. We are hoping to learn a lot but we also love to teach others something from our cultures.

We would like to find a WWooFing to discover this beautiful country differently, not as mere tourists. We are very sociable and we are always happy to meet up new people and new cultures.

I miss the life in a family or around people and working in a garden or farm. At home in Germany I helped my mom cooking marmelade with our own fruits. My dad plants potatoes and I helped him as well. I am used to be around pets and kids so I hope to find that here again.

I joined Wwoof so that I can make connections, Experience the Australian life, Learn new skills. Make wholesome memories thatI can take back to Ireland. Looking to meet likeminded people who I can connect with and enjoy life with while travelling.

Today, I am looking to change my career path to the field of air transport, where English is mandatory. In my search, I realized that the best way to learn English is to immerse myself in the country where it is spoken. Besides learning the language, I know it will be an amazing experience that will stay with me forever!

I join WWOOF because I think wwoofing is a very intereting for my project who is to improve my english, exit my comfort life and discover new culture. I really want to help a farm family and in exchange of goods moments

I've been trying to grow vegetables recently, and I'm realizing how difficult it is. Through WWOOFing, I would like to learn about the type of agriculture practiced in Australia, which is an agricultural superpower. I'm not very good at English, but I want to acquire English skills and internationalism during WWOOFing.

We join wwoof  to go out our confort zone, discover new culture and new people to create good memories ! Also, it's a good opportunity for us to learn new skills in agricultural work. That will be usefull to find a job later as well.

I joined woof because I want to meet people living in Australia to discover the different customs, and their ways of working and living. It would also allow me to discover new jobs because I am currently questioning my future professional life. But still because woof seems to be a platform allowing people without much means to exchange its services for accommodation.

I heard about WWOOFing from a friend who raved about his experiences on the website. I think WWOOFing is not only an incredible way to travel around Australia and have the chance to experience the most beautiful landscapes and wildlife, but it is also a great way of doing some active, outdoors, immersed in nature. I am also really excited to meet people who are experienced in organic farming and would like to learn more about their past and experiences while also helping out with their daily tasks. Finally, I'm working towards renewing my working holiday visa and am looking for opprtunities to fulfill those requirements as well.

We joined WOOF because we want to learn from other cultures and communities about what sustainable food means to them, and to grow our perceptions and understandings of global citizenship. We love to meet new people and are eager to learn and give our time.
