Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
I want to learn slow living and permaculture practices. I would want to learn how to grow food, preserve food and cook the food directly from the farm. I would like to meet new people and learn from them. Volunteer work is a good way to learn and meet new people. It is also a way to travel to different places in the world.

Because at this point in my life I have a feeling I need to go somewhere else than living in a very busy city. I am longing for a quiet, simple and outside life.

I hope to learn a lot about working on a farm and farm life in general. I think everyone should work on a farm at one point in their life to know how life used to be for our forefathers. The reason I want to go to Australia is because of the crazy insects and animals that can be found there. I get really excited whenever I see a creature that I have never seen before. Another reason for Australia is because I think that Australians have the best sense of humor of all English speaking countries.

I am in Perth since the 26th of October and spent the last three weeks getting different tickets, ceritificates and some other documents so to get ready to apply for jobs. After quite busy weeks in the city I’m really glad to have found out about WWOOF and look forward to the opportunities that might come up in the next time. I basically want to gather new experiences, get to know new people and perspectives, and enjoy the time here in Australia. 🙂

I think it's a great uppertunity to see new places and meet new people and learn more about the live and working on farms. My own dream would be having a selfsustaining farm, so this is the most awsome way to discover more about it and also see the world.

I have some long service leave coming up and want to get some experience in horticulture/permaculture/ farm life. I would like to spend some time helping out and learning at the same time. This is the way that I learn the best. It seems like a really great opportunity to learn and be helpful.

Like I wrote before: I grew up on a farm, love to be- and work outside, I love all animals (spiders are only a work in progress) and I would love to learn about selfsustainability: to really experience this lifestyle because I hope I can make this my own in the (not too far away) future. My goal is to live sustainable. Away from the always busy society, and in the same time offer an place for people with mental problems. This is also the field (mental healthcare) where I worked, and learned a lot, for the last 7 years with much love. Now I am at a point where I had to make a switch so that I can experience how (what I believe) life is most pure. Live with what earth gives us! I believe I can (together with others) make a safe haven where I can offer others, and live this lifestyle myself, that is good for body, mind and earth. But, first things first! I am super looking forward to get started!

WWOF would allow me to discover new places off the beaten path, take the time to immerse myself in Australian culture, and engage in meaningful exchanges with the locals. I enjoy experiencing different ways of life, often quite distinct from my own in France. Naturally, WWOFing would also enable me to make connections, which is an essential part of my travels. It would also help me improve my English by using it daily.

I'm interested in nature that hasn't been touched too much by humans, and I want to know more about it. Also, I want to know the world outside of my home country, and I want to go to as many places as possible while I'm still young.

WWOOFing is a great opportunity to get in touch with intresting and inspiring people around the globe.I am looking for a 2-3 week opportunity to stay with someone who needs help with animals and work around the farm. I am also looking forward to the opportunity of meeting my Kiwi boyfriend Oliver over Christmas, as we only have a limited time to see one another due to work commitments on different continents.

I've been meaning to get out of the city and back to my roots in nature. I've been a Workaway member for a few years and have always wanted to be a Wwoofer, especially since learning about Aus land in my job, I would love to give back to this special land and its people.

I want to travel to Australia using a Working Holiday visa to work, earn money, and explore the country. Until I find a job, I'd like to stay with hosts using WWOOF. I hope to learn more about Australia while helping the locals. My family runs a farm, and I have experience working there, so I believe my skills could be useful. My ideal is to find a place where I can build a good relationship with the hosts.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
