I joined WWOOF because I would love to find some farms and hosts in Australia to learn about Aussie life and their culture and nature, farming, permaculture, animal care and gardening. Lots of my friends made great experiences with WWOOF and recommended it to me.

My interest this year is to gain new experiences while having the best possible impact on the lives of the people I meet here. I‘d love to improve my practical skills and learn about our planet and the routines and daily life on farms.

As someone who loves connecting with new people, wwoofing for me not only means a chance to both deploy and develop skills and learn more about sustainable living practices, but also a chance to get involved in different styles/ways of living. In February, I was fortunate enough to do one month of wwoofing across NZ’s North Island — hopping from a rare breed farm to a market garden/lifestyle block to an organic macadamia nut orchard. The people I met, the lessons I learned, and the conversations I shared are ones I won’t be forgetting quickly (to say the least). With that experience so near and dear, I’m hoping to wrap up my time here in Australia with a brief return to wwoofing. With my university examinations at the end of May, and my flight back home booked for May 30th, I’m looking at the date range of May 26th - 30th for one last absorption of Australia and of wwoofing in this corner of the world. If these dates suit you, please do get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!

To further shape my journey, I would like to challenge myself in volunteer work. Thus, I want to learn more about rural life in Australia. In doing so, I see that by volunteering I can give something back to the country I am traveling in.

Get experience. Becoming a Wwoofer I like to get experience in farming methods. Also gives me a different environment to live. Thinking what else to write. No drugs or smoking, occational wine or sprit as a drink. If it is within my capacity, I like to do a good job. I like to travel and learn new cultures.

I joined WWOOF because, as I said, I’m on a journey of self-discovery. I’ve never truly been on my own and I reached a point where abandoning my comfort zone entirely is the best way to do that. Hence, joining WWOOF and seeing what good I can do on the other side of this floating space rock! I’m so intrigued by the idea of creating a homestead and living an organic life. I feel WWOOFing is an amazing way for me to broaden my horizons, learn skills I’m eager to learn, work with animals, and get to see a country I’ve been dying to see since I was a kid. It checks a lot of boxes for me 🙂

I joined WWOOF to be inspired by a clean way of farming or even living. I like to experiment in ways of life and going back to basics, living in a more sustainable way is my goal. I believe it to be very healthy, but i want to feel it. I am currently in Australia on a WHV and i’d like to alternate between WWOOF and paid farmwork.

We are really interested & passionate about organic farming & sustainable living. We are curious to see, learn, share and help others on their own properties. We think WWOOFing is a lovely way to travel and connect with people who have similar interests.

I joined wwoof because I would like to meet Australian locals, get to know your culture first hand and also do the work I love. Ofcourse I am pretty excited and frightened about coming to a new continent, so I will be thankful and happy for some support and help on my journey, while helping you on yours. 🙂 I'm also strong and can lift heavy hay! hehe xD

I really want to join the wwoof family because I want to reconnect with nature, live the real Australian life and learn to work the land. I already had experience as a HelpX on a macadamia farm in Valla Beach. I really enjoyed it and I would like to continue!

When I was in Japan, really into wine and food pairing. Also I have the license of registrant dietitian, then interested in organic food and wine. I tried to grow some vegetables without any chemicals at my home though it was very difficult to grow up. Therefore I would love to learn how to make them and meet many people who like nature, food and wine:)
