Being able to learn about farming and being able to stay in Australia as well and meet a lot of people and making friends with them. I also like the weather here in Australia that is why it will never get bored staying here. WWOOF will give me opportunity to enhance my ability to communicate with other people.

I have interests in wildlife conservation and sustainable life, and hoping to contribute the society by using artworks to inspire others; for example, by making picture book about conservation (I love “the man who planted tree” by Frederic Back ). So, I want to see and learn about sustainable ways and ideas as much as possible to draw the details. Also, though I’m an introvert I’d love to enjoy interacting with many interesting people in Australia, and have wonderful time together:) I’m hoping to make great memories and also make lots of sketches !

I'm interested in meeting like minded people and learning new skills. I would like to purchase my own farm and would like to be more educated on what that might entail. This environment seems to provide this is a practical way from those actually doing it.

I would love to live new experiences, learn new skills and meet new people while discovering the beautiful landscapes of Australia. I care a lot about the food I eat and the environment, so I would be very happy to help and volunteer on an organic farm.

I joined WWOOF because good friends did it in New Zealand and I want to make that experience as well! I want to learn new things, further develop my skills and gain experience in different kinds of trades. I furthermore want to meet some people of the country I am traveling through and in best case gain some first hand knowledge. I also want to make myself useful and get to see things outside of the cities… a more authentic Australia.

We are heading to Tasmania in April 2024 to have our baby! My mum lives in Hobart, so want to be in Tas for visits, but we are not city people anymore. Would love to find a farm or homestead where we can settle in and call home for the 3 months leading up to baby, and the first 3 months after (with a break in between at mum's place). Paul will be going through his spouse visa application, and we hope that after 6 months his bridging visa will be granted, allowing him to work. Hoping to wwoof for our food and lodging until then. Ideally, a farm looking to hire on an experienced farm hand would suit us, and we could transition from wwoofing to employee once he can work. This is a bit of a pipe dream though, we would also be happy just wwoofing for 6 months! If you'd like to have some longer term workers who are used to living simply and working hard, and you'd be comfortable being on the sidelines of this baby journey of ours, (and ideally have a seperate building for us to be in), we'd love to chat!

I joined WWOOF to learn about organic and regenerative agriculture in Australia, which has the largest organic farmland in the world. Among them, I am particularly interested in regenerative agriculture, and through WWOOF I hope to gain knowledge and experience in regenerative agriculture, and in the future I would like to become an organic and regenerative farmer in Japan or Australia! I am a beginner in farming, but my passion is second to none! Please accept me and I will not make you regret it!

Growing up, I developed a strong interest in agriculture through my grandparents, who cultivated rice and vegetables. Their influence has sparked my passion for sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship. I am eager to join WWOOF to gain hands-on experience, further develop my skills, and contribute to local communities. I look forward to embracing cultural exchange opportunities and am excited about the valuable experiences ahead.
