Guidelines for WWOOF Hosts offering Remote Work and Study Placements, to offer this option, Hosts must: * Provide a private and quiet space for WWOOFers to use to study or work in their free time. * Provide access to reliable Internet (unrestricted or unlimited if possible). * Have mobile phone access or opportunities for Wi-Fi calling access via Internet. * Negotiate flexible WWOOFing times that will facilitate the study or work schedule of their WWOOFers in their free time. * Keep the lines of communication open to discuss any issues that may arise with scheduled online meetings, classes or lectures and arrange WWOOFing around these scheduled times.

I joined WWOOF because the concept of volunteering really seduced me; we live in a world run by money, and to be able to live without it for a short time is an experience I want to try. I like to be usefull and help others. To be outside and in contact with nature attracted me too. And it's a perfect timing to do WWOOFing for me as I don't want to be in the rush of finding a job, an appartment, a car, and to deal with all the administratives procedures straight at my arrival.

I am currently working on a vineyard in Italy as a field hand for the harvest. Originally I planned on going back to the states in November after the season ended to start my career. However, after getting here I realized that work can wait. No one in my family has ever really left Arizona. From a young age, I knew I wanted something different. I went to college across the country and now I have the rest of the world to see. I’m motivated by my love of nature, fascination with humans, and genuine desire to connect with people I would have otherwise never met but who share a love of the absurd and beautiful world we live in.
