I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I did WWOOF in New zeeland last year and I really liked it. I love to meet other people, people who share the same values like beeing nice to other people and beeing gentle with the earth we live on. I'm very curious how people do organic farming in Australia.

I joined WWOOF to learn from locals and live like locals as well as learning new skills.I would like to gain knowledge what it is like to live in Australia and the organic and sustainable way of life .

I came to Australia because I wanted to experience various things. In particular, I love animals and nature, so I joined Woof because I wanted to enjoy nature and experience living while interacting with animals. I have always been interested in agriculture and dairy farming and I wanted to learn more. Though wwoof, I would like to learn what kind of efforts go into making it possible for us to eat. I would like to deepen my interest and appreciation for food. I haven't experienced any other city other than Cairns, so I would like to live in a new place. My English is still poor, so I would like to be in an English environment. I would like to know about the values ​​and lifestyle that the host values ​​while spending time with them.I would like to listen to lots of stories and communicate with them.

I’m studying gardening stuff in Australia, and I wanted to see how folks do farming in different ways. WWOOF sounded perfect for that. I like learning by doing, not just sitting in a classroom. With WWOOF, I can visit different farms and see how they do things. Whether it’s growing veggies or taking care of animals, there’s a lot to learn. Australia has all kinds of farms, and I’m excited to see them up close. WWOOF lets me meet cool people and learn new stuff while getting my hands dirty

I am interested in working in nature and I want to be familiar with and a farm to live on especially organic food. I am also interested in having an experience with Australian culture. Lastly, I would like to improve my English skill as well! I was actually thinking of going to Australia as an exchange student. But it costs so much money. I don't want my family to be burdened with money. And I thought WWOOF wouldn't cost much since Hosts provided food and housing. For these two reasons I thought it best to join WWOOF.

オーストラリアでは、将来は農場で働きたいので、まずはWWOOFで経験を積みたいです。農場で働きたいと 思った理由は、単純作業が自分の性格に合っていたこと、お金を稼ぎたかったこと、自然の中で働く環境が好きだったことです。自然や動物と触れ合う仕事にとても興味があります。セカンドビザは必ずしも必要ではありません。今のところ1年以上オーストラリアに住むことは考えていませんが、取れたら大丈夫です。経験として農場で働きたいです。WWOOFに参加することで、色々な人と出会い、違う生活や考え方、習慣を知り、農家や家畜についての知識も身に付けたいです。WWOOFに参加して一緒に食事をしたり、農業に関わりながら話をしたりすることはとても貴重な機会だったと思います。WWOOFを通して素敵な思い出を作りたいです！In Australia, I would like to work on a farm in the future, so I would like to gain experience through WWOOF first. I want to work on a farm The reasons I decided to do this were that simple work suited my personality, I wanted to earn money, and I liked the environment of working in nature. I think it was a very valuable opportunity to participate in WWOOF, eat together, and talk while being involved in agriculture. I want to create wonderful memories through WWOOF!

I'm saving for my own little patch of land to care for, I figure in helping others i am also helping myself! As I'm someone who likes to earn their keep, I feel I can kind of achieve a lot by joining the WWOOFing community. One I get to learn and help out and meet people and families and the other, I can keep saving along the way and build my knowledge and awareness with working in healthy ways with Nature.

This program creates an awesome opportunity to meet new people around the world while getting a local experience. We want to love and serve the people of Australia while we are here, and learn new skills! We both have a dream of one day having our own farm (whether it's a hobby farm or a career farm, we haven't quite decided), and WWOOFing can give us useful insight into farming and sustainable living.

Being able to learn about farming and being able to stay in Australia as well and meet a lot of people and making friends with them. I also like the weather here in Australia that is why it will never get bored staying here. WWOOF will give me opportunity to enhance my ability to communicate with other people.

I have interests in wildlife conservation and sustainable life, and hoping to contribute the society by using artworks to inspire others; for example, by making picture book about conservation (I love “the man who planted tree” by Frederic Back ). So, I want to see and learn about sustainable ways and ideas as much as possible to draw the details. Also, though I’m an introvert I’d love to enjoy interacting with many interesting people in Australia, and have wonderful time together:) I’m hoping to make great memories and also make lots of sketches !

I joined wwoof because of the recommendation of a friend who was traveling through NZ thanks to wwoofing. I‘d love to get more insight in the australian culture and lifestyle.

I want to join WWOOF because I would like to improve my English and learn about Australian life and culture, what's more, I enjoy working and being of service.

I'm interested in meeting like minded people and learning new skills. I would like to purchase my own farm and would like to be more educated on what that might entail. This environment seems to provide this is a practical way from those actually doing it.

I am fit and healthy and always thought this would be a good option to support cycle touring in Australia. I enjoy being outside with nature and live a low carbon footprint.

I would love to live new experiences, learn new skills and meet new people while discovering the beautiful landscapes of Australia. I care a lot about the food I eat and the environment, so I would be very happy to help and volunteer on an organic farm.

I joined WWOOF because good friends did it in New Zealand and I want to make that experience as well! I want to learn new things, further develop my skills and gain experience in different kinds of trades. I furthermore want to meet some people of the country I am traveling through and in best case gain some first hand knowledge. I also want to make myself useful and get to see things outside of the cities… a more authentic Australia.

I must say that I haven't been very successful in my attempts to grow my own vegetables and fruits. However, I am very eager to learn and improve my skills here. I am looking forward to help while learning from experienced individuals.
