We are joining WWOOF to have an authentic experience in Australia. Passionate about nature and human connections, we want to exchange, learn new skills, and help our hosts with their projects. For us, it’s a great opportunity to discover a different way of life.

I am really excited to be done with school and go out into the world and make a difference, but I have no idea what I want that to look like. I want to learn everything I can about the ins and outs of sustainable agriculture, regenerative farming, gardening techniques, the business side of commercial farming, animal care and husbandry, and more. I hope to make lifelong connections with people from all over the world who are passionate about what they're doing. I love traveling and meeting people from completely different backgrounds so that I can understand a world view and set of life experiences that are so different from my own. Before I graduate college, I want the opportunity to learn what it's like to be a farmer on a day to day basis, what the potential career avenues in ecology and conservation science are, and have an opportunity to get hands-on experience in fieldwork, farming, and animal husbandry.

At the moment I have a half year sabbatical and now I traveling with my husband through New Zealand and Australia. We saw a lot of tourist things but now we would like have more kontakts to locals to learn more about the real live in Australia and to learn better English speaking. We look for a woofing host close to Sydney (we have to use public transport) from 4. to 11. January 2025.

I'm looking for new experiences and oppourtunities, and to be able to help others out whilst enjoying my time in Australia. Further, I'm looking to have fun and meet new people to make solo travelling worth it 🙂

I experienced many kinds of work, like IT, teacher, warehouse etc...... But I'd like to learn cultures, and values around the world more. And I hope to learn English as well.

I signed up for this program because I want to learn about Australian culture through a farm stay in Australia and live with a host, which I cannot experience in Japan. I want to challenge myself to communicate beyond language.

We did other Wwoof projects in Sri Lanka and Thailand and love to explore a new country and meet new people. In Sri Lanka we joined a family on their fruitfarm, learnt all about living from the and had a lot of fun with the kids and even joined them in the local school. In Thailand we helped out at a farm, coffee house and did a lot of work with a group of other volunteers.

As I approach retirement I am travelling more and interested to meet like-minded people. WOOFing looks like a nice way to see some more of Australia while meeting people, contributing to sustainable enterprises and learning new ways of doing. I would like opportunities that include hikes and national parks, river and ocean swimming etc in the vicinity. Short stays of a few days to a week for 2025 but will likely expand the offering during 2026 - just ask.

Honestly, I am not entirely sure. I felt a strong sense that I had to come to Australia for my own personal growth, but being here in the city is not for me. I miss riding horses deeply as I haven't been able to consistently ride since moving to Los Angeles. I feel very homesick already and I think it might be because of my lack of independence here in Sydney. I am having to rely on others schedules to be able to explore. I would like to be kept busy taking care of animals or learning a new skill. I am here to build my own confidence that I am capable of doing what i set my mind to whether thats traveling halfway across the world or having to go back to school when i come home to the states. I would like to experience something new while I am here, discover more about myself. I am really open to whatever God has planned for me while I am in Australia.

I join as I want to Travel as Volunteer in order to enjoy the country I want to live in at utmost. I believe it is the best way to find a host and share experiences

I still need to finish my 88 days and thought id try out something new. I also have a passion for the outsides and love to explore new places and living with people from the area sounds like a great way to discover some new areas.

I've Joined multiple times and stayed with some brilliant people up on the north coast years ago, It's time to go south and it's not a terrible platform to be able to give the place you're interested in staying a phone call (to have an actual chat)

I joined WWOOF as a way to build deeper connections and relationships with the people and places I travel to! I am a very down-to-earth person and enjoy all types of farm work, gardening, and being in nature, so WWOOFing is such a perfect fit for me to give back to the community.

I want to go to the depths of Australia through WWOOF. I want to save money and let my children experience different races and natural environments. Also, I want to see the work, facilities, and management of various farms and apply them in Korea. But we can't move too much.

I joined WWOOF because I wanted to give back my time to nature and see the world. I have some experience gardening and working with animals such as goats and sheep at a small scale, but I am looking forward to working on an organic farm at a larger scale!

I'm on my second year of Working Holiday Visa and require 179 days of regional work (bushfire declared postcode for WWOOFing). I finished my first year of 88 days requirement via volunteer-work as well, although that was for a disaster-relief campsite by BlazeAid. I helped out with flood recovery in the Bendigo region and bushfires near Ararat across two different camps and found it to be a lot more of a fulfilling and enjoyable experience than finding a paid job (to the point where I ended up staying an additional 40 days than I needed to). However, there aren't any active campsites open at the moment for me to return to, hence I find myself here looking forward to the next adventure life has in store for me.

I really interested in organic and grape farm(winery).I want to have a experience to learn about organic farming methods and the differences from conventional pesticide farming.

wwoof'ing sounds like the perfect way to continue my travels across Australia. Experiencing new cultures and adventures a long the way, this sounds like an amazing way to meet new people and experience new cultures from an authetic perspective. Gaining gaining valuble life lessons a long the way.

I'm interested in exploring organic farming and sustainable agriculture and gratefully learning while contributing to the organic farming community. And to experience new ways of living and build more resilience in my own self.

I am interested in learning new techniques and methods as well as new principles that are integrated in organic farming. As an agricultural science student i know a bit about Swiss farming systems (so mostly small-scale, dairy farming) but am now very interested in learning about farming in other climates and countries. I am very fond of all types of animals and working outside and with animals brings me a lot of joy, that's why I've decided that I would like to spend some time between my studies doing exactly that.
