I joined wwoof because I've always wanted to- I want to have an authentic adventure and give back. I'm always happiest when I am being of service and getting to know new people.

We’d like to spend time away from the UK for more than just a ‘holiday’. We’d like to feel embedded in a community and able to get to know people around us. We love the idea of spending time outdoors and being active, and we’d like to find something that stimulates the kids and exposes them to skills and experiences they wouldn’t get otherwise. We try to live sustainably and care about the environment, and WWOOFing offers an opportunity to be more connected to the these values.

We love to meet new people and to learn new things. We like to experience Australia the best way, and we think this is a great way to do it. We like to work for one-two weeks, and we arrive in Sydney at 14th of March and leaving 13th of April. We would prefer to work 4 hours a day, but can be flexible to work more some days and less other days. Work is no problem, we are used to it and will do our best effort in making it worth your time under the working hours. That said it´s important for us that we also get time to do small trips, have time to explore the area around and get some time outside working hours. Food: It`s imortant for us to eat proper meals everyday. Sofie eats vegetarian food. Andreas eats everything, and a bit more as a man. We really hope you would invite us to help out.

Both my parents are from Europe and when first coming to Australia / New Zealand did a considerable amount of WWOOFing themselves and told me stories growing up of the great experiences they had. I'm hoping to follow in their footsteps and get to see some places off the beaten track, meet new people, and learn new skills and see all the cool things people are doing out there.

Firstly, to meet new people and maybe even make new friends along my journey through Australia. Secondly, to get to know the Aussie way of life from a first hand experience. And lastly, for a pleasant accommodation throughout my stay here.

I needed to start somewhere with getting working experience in Australia. Since I'm not short on money right now, I don't really need payment yet, but to find myself a well paid farm job someday, I figured some working experience and contacts to other people (while improving my spoken English and grammar) wouldn't hurt. So I stumbled over an article about "how to get a job in Australia" where WWOOF was mentioned and since it's pretty much everything I need right now, and sounds fun, I wanted to give it a try.

Over the last several months my friend and I have been dreaming and planning a farm of our own. Neither one of us has too much experience with working on a farm however. Travelling has been important to me since I was a small child and my dad would tell me stories of his adventures. I've always dreamed of visiting Australia and I think this program offers a unique opportunity to truly see the country. Through this program I hope to learn about different ways of farming, as well as the ins and outs of every day life on a working farm. Getting to stay and work on a farm while also being able to explore a new country is a way to combine two very important things to me.

We are both sensitive to the issues regarding climate change and the impact our trip has on the environment. That’s why we wanted to try alternative ways to travel. Also, we believe organic and sustainable agriculture is very important. As a bonus we get to live a more authentic experience and hopefully get to help people at the same time.

I'm joining WWOOF because I love travelling and meeting new people and, even though I don't need to do any farm days for my visa anymore, I still love working outdoors and learning new skills.

I love meeting and connecting with new people as well as gardening, farming, the outdoors, and spending time in nature. I am interested in building community and connection in my time abroad, as well as connecting with the physical earth I stand upon. Additionally, as our general society moves towards a capitalist function, I am interested in engaging in exchanges that don't focus on monetary value as I think other types of trade offer a more meaningful and thoughtful exchange. For all of these reasons, I am deeply interested in WWOOF and am delighted to join.

I am keen to have some WWOOFing experiences in Aussie, meet new people and develop new skills. I'm wanting to spend some of my gap year overseas and continue working with horses and on organic farms.

I want to keep the type of job I currently have in Chile, but in Australia, learning english and about farms. This will be my first volunteering experience and I hope to live one of the bests moments of my life
