After some researchs on Internet, we see that Australia is huge, beautiful and people in there are nice, so we decided to go ahead ! Moreover, I think that experience can help us a lot to improve ours English skills by practising with native English speaker.

I am excited to become a member of the Woof program because it offers a hands-on approach to learning about organic farming while traveling. I am eager to develop practical skills in sustainable agriculture and gain a deeper understanding of the processes involved in growing and managing crops. The opportunity to work on a farm will provide me with real-world experience and help me appreciate the effort that goes into producing organic food.

To be honest, cultivating the soil and watching plants grow fills me with profound sense of joy, fulfilment and appreciation for the natural cycles that sustain us. I also love trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone.

I recently met up with a few old friends from earlier in my Aussie experience who had just completed some time wwoofing in Tasmania. Their stories of their experience told me how great volunteering at these farms could be! I am also looking to complete my 88 days for a second year of my visa, and think that contributing towards an organization that is environmentally friendly and takes care in being ethical will be rewarding and a wonderful way to spend my time away from the city!

Joining WWOOF was a natural step for us as we travel around Australia. As a self-employed IT worker, I have the flexibility to work remotely, which allows us to explore new places and engage in meaningful experiences. Ola, with her love for working with horses and her background in Poland, is excited about the opportunity to connect with different communities and learn about sustainable farming practices. We joined WWOOF to immerse ourselves in local cultures, contribute to various farms, and gain hands-on experience in sustainable living. It’s a perfect way for us to blend our travel adventures with meaningful work and make a positive impact along the way.

My Dad travelled to Australia as a young man and his adventures in Oz are some of his favourite memories. I too would love to do my own exploration! I believe WWOOFing is a great way to meet new people, explore exciting new environments and have memorable experiences. Other people I have spoken to who have been WWOOFing speak so highly of their experiences. I also love the fact this is a way to make a positive impact on the environment while working in a sustainable and ethical way!

I want to experience the Australian countryside and the simple life. Gain more knowledge about organic farming and see places and meet locals that otherwise I probably would not. Travelling in Australia is not cheap so this concept is a win win for everyone. Also I absolutely love trail running and cannot wait to explore more beautiful trails.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
