I joined this community so I can give back, learn new skills, continue my travels and meet interesting and kind people. In life we will always be teachers and students and I believe it’s always a good time to give back and exchange knowledge and experience with other people, community brings us together and this platform is a good way to connect with likeminded individuals or try giving your best at something totally new that sparks your interest. I personally believe that this is a fair way to travel and grow personally at the same time you acquire new skills. Many of my friends are members of this community and they have had wonderful experiences and gained practical skills while exploring a new country while doing jobs that are character building.

I'm a curious person by nature, and I'm interested to experience living and working on different farms to learn and understand their ways. I hope to be able to find like-minded mentors and pick up new skills and grow in my knowledge in areas like permaculture, closed-loop farming and organic farming. In Singapore, I've volunteered at community gardens as well as at a family-owned farm growing edible flowers and micro-greens. I also did a 2 months stint at an urban farm that grew salad veggies.

I'm joining the WWOOF program to further my own skills and share what knowledge I have gained over the years. With the current global conditions I think the understanding how to grow crops in a sustainable, non harmful way is one of the most important spread of knowledge there is. My passion has always been linked to nature and my dream situation would be that I could be self sufficient either living on my own property, or as part of a homestead community.
