I have recently started to like the idea of living in a countryside and fallen in love with the farms in Australia. I own farm land in pakistan, mainly growing wheat and cotton. So I would love to learn the farming practices in Australia. Also, this would be my first real exposure to life in a farmhouse doing hands-on farming in Australia. I hope it will be a wonderful experience for me as well as the host. Looking to get along with nice people 🙂

I joined WWOOF Australia because the opportunity to travel and explore a country I've been fascinated by for as long as I can remember, meeting like-minded and knowledgable people to connect with along the way, to learn from and to have truly memorable experiences with, and even to make a positive difference to the environment however small and take what I learn back with me to my work, is just impossible to say no to while I have the chance.

I joined WWOOF because I love the opportunity to stay at many different places where I get to learn new skills and meet new people that normal tourists don’t get to see. I can work with animals, help in the garden or on big farm lands. I love the idea of staying and helping somewhere for a few days or weeks and being able to travel on quicker. It gives me the ability to see more of the country and it’s lifestyle. My goal is to try out as many things as I can and learn more while traveling up the east coast.

We are new French agricultural engineers, we want to discover other agricultures, techniques and knowledges. We want to discover other ways of living. Wwoofing is a chance to do so, while meeting new people and fully participating to the tasks. It is also a way to reduce the price of the travel as we do not have a job yet. We really want to improve our English, I would like to be fluent. Overall, this travel is meant to be a human adventure.

We joined WWOOF to be able to work for our accommodation and learn new skills while we meet people from all around the world. This share of experience is much more valuable to use than just renting out an accommodation.

I joined WWOOF as a way to meet more like minded people and see more of Australia. Also, I have a big interest in conservation (I have recently applied for a masters program titled : Science Communication for a Better Planet) and would love to learn more from people who are living lives so close to nature. I hope to learn more about different land management practices and see the differences in land needs in Australia compared to home.

Hello dear future host 🙂 I am Céleste and I come from Belgium🇧🇪. I arrived in Australia two weeks ago (I am currently in Sydney). I would like to spend more time outside and do manual labour. I am passionate about nature and the environment🌱. Actually, in Belgium, I studied bioengineering with a specialty in agronomy. I worked for four years for a farmers' union🧑‍🌾. So I was quite in contact with the field. In addition, my family also comes from the agricultural sector. At home, I live in the countryside where I love gardening. I am a brave and hardworking person. I am available right now and I already speak English almost fluently. I'm looking for a place to experience Australian life and culture, and meet nice people (that's the purpose of this trip). Looking forward to meeting you ! 🤩 Céleste

WWOOFing offers me the chance to gain hands-on experience in agriculture, deepen my connection to nature, and build lasting friendships within the farming community. I look forward to exchanging knowledge, exploring different farming techniques, and embracing a lifestyle centered around environmental stewardship and self-sufficiency.

I want to live more sustainably in a way that truly works for the planet, myself and others. I want to learn how to grow more nutrient dense food for less money and more self/communal sufficiency. Also curious about natural building and low impact/high air quality shelters. Designing Sustainable solutions in alignment with natures principles. Also want to spend more time with people on a similar bandwidth as myself.
