I joined WWOOF to gain hands on experience on how farms operate, especially the ones with livestock involved. Studying science, my goal is to become a vet. So I wish to learn more about the agricultural industry and livestock production in Australia. I also wanted to try living in regional areas to see if it suits me, because Im going to spend a lot of time in these areas if I were to study vet science.

We did WWOOFing before in Europe and just love the experience to work and live with people from another culture that also want to protect the environment with organic farming. We made very good friends with hosts and stay still in contact. We hope

I joined WWOOF to find like minded individuals and learn more about organic farming and living. I also want to embark on a journey and working for accommodation along the way sounds like a good way to regroup between adventures.

I have been interested in WWOOfing for many years but have never had the perfect opportunity to do so. I am incredibly interested in food and the human connection to it due to my studies. I am excited to work hands-on on a farm to gain real experience. I believe this will be a great way to get to know the country and the culture a little deeper.

I joined WWOOF to include some Farm work in my journey because of the new perspective I could get. Moreover I would love to volunteer on a real Australian farm, since this has been my dream for longer. When I was younger my family and I went on vacation and we spent some time on different farms here and I enjoyed it a lot, especially being around animals. I can offer just basic skills like for instance taking care of plants (actually I have planted some vegetables and herbs in my garden for the last two years), but by doing some Farm work I am looking forward to learn everything that has to do with it! My journey starts in the beginning of January 2023. I would love to find a kind host family from then until the end of January since I will start an AuPair residence in February (in Canberra, ACT). If you are interested I would love to get in touch with you and of course I am willing to answer questions and tell you more about myself! 😊

I joined WWOOF to find an organic host farm anywhere in Australia or in New Zealand to volunteer with. I am very flexible, I can start immediately and I’m keen to relocate.

I'm looking to learn some more about myself, meet new people, and put myself out of my comfort zone. I think that's when the most meaningful memories happen. The sense of culture that I've gathered from what WWOOF is and what it represents is what really attracts me to this organization.

I did a lot of woofing in France for some associations, I organised some distribution of food and hygienic stuff for homelessness. I would like experience in Australian farm life and I would like to help to recover the farm for the flats that's why I'm joining wwoof to support the farm

We know WWOOF from good friends who did the same 4 years ago. After our idea to make a trip to Australia, they highly recommended WWOOF to us. Our goal is to see as much of Australia as possible. Therefore, we believe that WWOOF offers us the best opportunity to see Australia from every perspective. Although we want to take this chance to improve our English skills and to get to know new cultures.

I would like to see more of the world after being in school for the last 12 years and not really being able to do that yet. I would like to get to know the work on the farm and help the locals. I have heard a lot of good things about WWOOFing and the hosts and everyone I know who has done it has had a lot of great experiences and impressions. I am looking forward to learning new things, meeting people and experiencing farm life in Australia.

I‘m joining WWOOF because I think it’s the perfect opportunity to get a better inside of the Australian lifestyle. This would be an opportunity to learn new things and to experience a completely different world. In school I was really interested in the different types of agriculture and the question of how to become more sustainable. I would love to do something in the environmental and agricultural sector after my gap year and I‘m hoping to get a clearer vision of what to do exactly in future by joining WWOOF. So I think that WWOOFing is the best way to achieve this and to meet new people and make new connections at the same time.

I would like to do wwoofing to meet people living in Australia. I could discover the way of life in Australia this way and contributing as I can to help you for what you need me to do. I did a lot of things since I arrived, I did all the East coast from Tasmania to Cairns with my van. I also worked in some farms of blueberries, lime/lemon, mango and lychee. I like those experiences and would like to create new ones.

I grew up on a farm in New Zealand and had a ton of WWOOFERS stay and work with us. I had always loved this idea and believe it's the best way to learn about a new culture and understand how people live. I am a hard worker and have a great range of skills that could be useful on any time of farm. I also have great cooking skills, have worked in child minding and hands on farm work.

I joined WWOOF, because I perceived it as the perfect platform to really connect with the people of a country, get to know how you live, your culture and have a good time together. I also have this little dream of living self sufficient and off grid at one point, but have never had any experience in that area so far. I simply think it would be a great opportunity for me to learn about permaculture as I would like to plant my own veggies in the future. I think WWOOFing offers a great network to connect and learning opportunity for all.

I joined WWOOF because I like to make connections with people, gain new experiences & skills, share stories and have a unique experience in general. To me WWOOFing seems a great way to experience all of this with like-minded people and hopefully make new friends!
