To give my daughterworking opportunities without committing  to a job just yet we also want to do the harvest trail when she finishes high school and having some practical skills would be helpful  

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I joined wwoof especially because I want to get to know australia and its nature, its culture and of course people who live there to make new and exciting experiences. It would make me very happy to work at a farm because I love being in the nature and I like taking care of animals if its possible. Furthermore I want to speak as much English as I can to improve my speaking skills.

Meet people and experience real Australian life live with Australians see animals. I wish to travel to Australia out of the city to help you as much as possible in your homes

I’ve joined WWOOF because I think it can help me learn news skills and discover a lot about Australia and its people. I also liked the idea about exchanging services and knowledge. I think it’s a better way to enjoy the work than just being paid for doing it. Also, I really need to improve my english and I think being with native is the best way to do it!

I look forward to having more community around me and learning new skills as well as experiencing new areas. I feel I have been on the central coast too long and am getting itchy feet

The reason why I join WWOOF is that I would like to have an opportunity to stay with people in different culuture and work in a farm. I think iving together and working together makes it easier to get along and understand each other. And I am interested in agriculture and I will work as a farmer in the future but I have never tried farming yet so I want lern about agriculuture especially organic agriculture, and hear about farmer job or life of farmer. Also improve English skills is one of the reason. I would like to work at cafe and I have experience working at cafe before in Japan. but I don't have confidence in my English. so I want to improve my English skills during stay.

I joined WWOOF for my school’s senior project program, where we have the opportunity to spend our spring semester volunteering, instead of partaking in regular classes. Through WWOFF, I hope I get to learn new skills, explore the world, and meet amazing people.

I found out about WWOOF through my Permaculture studies with TAFE. I hope to learn more hands on skills by volunteering with farms around Australia. I love working with both plants and animals.

Halfway through transforming the garden, I realised it was my apprenticeship. There is a burning desire somewhere inside to learn skills in regeneratively managing the land and animals, either commercially or just for the family group. I’ve been very inspired recently by Mark Boyle (The Moneyless Man) - making a life surrounded by a sharing community with a common purpose and minimal need for money (not too sure how I’m going to convince the family that this is the way to go though….) My wife understands that I need to keep learning and WWOOF’ing is something I’ve had on my bucket list for a while. Any organic broad acre organic farming experience and associated living skills would be great! Ideally I'm looking to combine farm life (3-4 days during the week) and the family commuting back to Sydney at the weekends - but happy to discuss other arrangements.

J'ai une très grand expérience dans le pest contrôl 12 ans, en restauration gastronomique 2 ans , principalement en fonction de manager. Je suis quelqu'un de bricoleur donc très manuel.

I joined to get to visit lovely places, meet good people and learn things. I’ve loved most of my experiences wwoofing and look forward to the next one. It is sometimes when I’m on the road or when I need a break from wherever I am.

I hope to connect with organic farmers who are willing to share culturally! I want to understand farming better through my travels (I work remotely in a travel startup), and eventually one day I aim to have a farm i can call home.

I would like to WWOOFing, because I loved my first experience, I would like to be able to repeat this. I could also arrive in Australia with a calm head while I find an employer.

We hope to learn and have fun while doing so. We’ve joined with hopes to meet wonderful people and explore interesting alternatives. We are very excited to get involved and get our hands dirty.

WWOOF not only allows me to volunteer on organic farms and learn sustainable practices but also enables me to extend my travels and explore the world more extensively.

We are looking for jobs where we could work alongside animals and stay around 3 weeks. We have done our placements in a beef farm before and we had a lot of experience with fencing and feeding. For this time, we are looking for a chance to stay in the farm for about 3 weeks to study, learn and work in the animal production/conservation industries. At the same time, we are also considering a career in the animal production industry, so it would be a great opportunity for us to combine what we have learnt at uni with the real life farm industry to provide the basis for our future career path.
