Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
The reason I want to participate in WWOOF is because I am interested in Australian agriculture. When I was in high school, I majored in crops. I also like animals, so I'm interested in livestock farming. And since I have a working holiday visa, I am hoping to get a second visa.

Mainly to get the visa for the second year(417). Working exchange not only can experience Australian life but also saves money. WWOOF is a very famous website, I believe it can give me a lot of feedback.

During my upcoming trip of 7 weeks I am going to do some mountainbike adventures and bikepacking and meeting up with some people I became friends with 14 years ago. As i have very much enjoyed my stays on farms during my big trip in 2010 I would love to combine my bike adventures with this hobby of mine. I like to meet new people but also would like to enjoy the real Australian (outback) life. i hope to find that in this way

We are so excited to help create and take care of the land however we can! We are passionate about the environment and living off the land. We want to learn more about Australian flora and fauna and connect with the people in an intimate way. We want to share our knowledge and learn more from the people here. Most of all we cannot wait to explore some of the most beautiful places in Australia!

The most important reason is to encounter different set of values. I would like to learn a lot of things I don't know. Also, because I want to improve my English. English is the most widely spoken language and I believe that English will be needed in the future.

I'm particularly drawn to wwoofing because it offers a unique opportunity to discover new experiences and learn different skills while contributing to sustainable practices. I’ve been deeply involved in organic living since childhood, having primarily eaten organic food and even growing my own organic produce in my garden. Through wwoofing, I hope to assist people in the country while exchanging cultures and diversifying my skills and experiences. I'm excited to learn from my hosts and build lasting friendships along the way, enriching my knowledge and understanding of different ways of life.

I would like to join WWOOF as i am sure it is the ideal opportunity to work abroad and gain lifelong experiences. Working on a farm isn't just about being in nature, it's also about coming into contact with many different types of animals, which would be my absolute dream. I really like WWOOF because I can work on many farms in Australia and meet so many new people. Of course Australia is really amazing and has spectacular nature and i would love to see many different places there. Therefore, I think traveling within Australia makes this journey even more special and exciting. Moreover, I want to travel with three friends and even for a group of four, WWOOF has numerous interesting offers. We would love to help and work on farms together.

I have been a WWOOFer on and off for the last 8 years of my life and it's been fantastic. I love to travel for a reason, to exchange knowledge and skills and be apart of a community, rather than just passing through. WWOOFing has been perfect as I've found an amazing extended family with similar interests that I have grown and learnt from. The learning curve is also major for me- I love hands on, practical tactics and I want to live a life where I can grow my own food and produce my own power and milk my own goats...all that good stuff you really can't learn just from books!

I joined WWOOF because I’m passionate about sustainable agriculture and want to gain hands-on experience while learning directly from farmers. As a plant biology student, I hope to deepen my understanding of practical farming techniques and contribute to the daily work on farms. WWOOFing offers me the chance to experience different agricultural practices, connect with nature, and meet like-minded people who share my passion for the environment. I look forward to learning new skills, understanding farm life better, and giving back through hard work and enthusiasm!

City/Town:
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type:
We run a small boutique, spray free flower farm nestled in a valley just south of Gympie. Permaculture principles are followed in our personal vegetable gardens where we grow much of our own food. We are both vegans and love to cook using vegtables we have grown in our garden. WWOOFers will stay in the small hut that we renovated and have installed an outdoor shower and composting toilet. The hut contains a double bed and a bar fridge and a small deck area which is private from the main house. If you do not have transport we can collect you from the bus or train station in Gympie. We have an expectation that you will commit to stay and be working with us for a minimum of 2 weeks. We look forward to meeting you.

I joined WWOOF because i want to have new experiences in my life. I always wanted to go abroad and meet new people but i hadn't had the courage until now. So what i hope to expect is meeting great people, share experiences and learn new things about farming and handiwork and just caring for animals.

Joining WWOOF felt like the natural next step in my journey. I’m at a crossroads in my life where I want to shift my focus toward building a healthier, more purposeful lifestyle. Along with working on my online business, I’m eager to explore new trades, live sustainably, and learn skills that support a balanced, well-rounded life. WWOOF offers a unique way to achieve that by surrounding myself with like-minded people, being outdoors, and embracing the type of growth that extends beyond just work.
