I want to learn from the farm work, and be able to do my hobbies, meet people, and maybe get my second year visa. I am currently travelling Australia and I wish to extend my knowledge and meet interesting people. Also want to be able to surf daily and travel around so the wwoof kind of suits my interests, and if I can help others while doing it, it’s even better.

Interested in good food (and where it comes from), geography, connecting with people and places. Particularly eager to learn more about and help with landcare, animal husbandry, permaculture, farm work, general practical/outdoor skills. Grew up in small-town coastal Aus, not afraid of hard work, mud or muck. I also have extensive education/childcare experience and am a pretty tidy person, so happy to help with indoor/family tasks as well. Happy working with other people (often described by other as friendly/chatty) or in customer facing roles. To live and work with: I'm generally calm, early sleeper and riser, clean and organised, practice yoga daily, non-smoker and rarely drink but more than able to be around other ways of living (once had 30 housemates for over a year!). I think I tend to work best when I am also being challenged (physically or mentally), enjoy working with and getting to know others, but am also quite independent and happy to get on with a job or do my own thing.

I'm joining WWOOF as I've always been involved in volunteer activities in Brazil and was looking for opportunities to do volunteer work near Gold Coast or even in the state of Queensland. Additionally, I'm also aiming to extend my visa for a second year.

We have heard about WWOOF via a friend and spent 3 amazing weeks at two different hosts in Queensland, when we visited Australia in 2019. This trip was right after we finished our university studies and we wanted to explore and figure out where we wanted to go next. WWOOFing brought us together with so many great and interesting people and different perspectives and outlooks on life that we couldn´t have experienced any other way. We still cherish those memories very much, are still in contact with our previous hosts, and are eager to make new experiences with this program.

learn more about agricultural and be more close to nature , make friends.I like quiet environments and making music with instruments, I have an almost completely plant-based diet and I love nature and animals. I had some agricultural experiences helping a friend in her garden and when I worked in a village in Italy I took the goats to graze and fed the chickens, I would like to learn more about agricultural life, I have the desire to buy a piece of land one day and build a house, I feel the need to be closer to nature.

As I said before, I'm Léa, a 23-year-old French woman who arrived in Australia at the beginning of November. I'm here to discover the magical country that is Australia. I want to discover all the facets of the country and that's how I ended up creating this profile, because now that I've been able to discover some of the big cities, I want to discover the authentic Australian culture and all this by helping those who will welcome me. For this wonderful trip, I'm accompanied by my best friend, Laura: a young woman of 21. We're not friends for nothing, as we're known to be similar and have the same qualities 🙂

I think I explained this a lot in my bio but! I'm joining WWOOF to start my next chapter in life. I really want to experience working with my hands and experience farm life. I chose Australia because I see it as the opposite of where I grew up. The climate is hot, it's very large, filled with adventure, scary animals and of course the ocean (Minnesota is smaller, very cold, and very far from the ocean). I hope to grow mentally, and physically through this experience. I want to gain a lot of confidence, make many new friends and have a whole bundle of wonderful memories.

Over a decade ago I was a WWoofer on a biodynamic farm and also on a vineyard. In the future I could see myself homesteading , therefore I would love to learn more from people who also care for the planet, about (sustainable) farming principles .

Before leaving Australia (in February), I really wanted to have a permaculture experience, volunteering. I can't miss this in Australia, it's really important for me. So, I am searching now for different permacultural projects around NSW I'm going to be around Byron bay from Christmas, and I have the whole of January to make this experience happen. I am very enthusiastic and excited about finding the right place to volunteer. (I have my own car, with a bed inside).

I would love to be your volunteer ! I am here on a WHV but at first I would learn about your work and your life in Australia. I think it is different to my life in Germany. The concept from WWOOF is the right one for me. I would love it to learn from you, life in your house, have chat and cook and eat together. It would nice to meet you 🙂

I am looking to get involved with some interesting and fulfilling work where I can learn new skills in the growing sector. I'd also like to contribute some of my own enthusiasm and skills in arboriculture to whatever project I work on. I'm also looking forward to seeing new areas of WA and meeting interesting people!

I've decided to embark on a WWOOFing journey in Australia to learn, share, and immerse myself in the beauty of eco-friendly farming. Australia's diverse landscapes and commitment to permacultural practices have drawn me in. I'm eager to contribute my energy and skills to a WWOOFing host while soaking up the Aussie way of life. For me, WWOOFing presents a wonderful chance to connect with like-minded individuals while, of course, providing a practical way to stretch my travel budget.
