I live in Warburton about 75 kms east of Melbourne, in the beautiful Yarra Ranges.
My property is just one acre, but I have a vegetable patch, 15 established fruit trees (12 of them citrus), blueberry bushes, various other berries and a range of Australian native trees and bushes attracting native birds.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Organic methods used include hand weeding, composting and fertilising with certified organic products. I also use certified organic products to control serious diseases, and homemade organic measures, such as, diluted milk spray on pumpkin plants to protect them from powdery mildew.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I became a WWOOF host because I enjoy meeting people and need help around my property, situated in the beautiful Yarra Ranges east of Melbourne. All the WWOOFers I’ve hosted so far have been great, a pleasure to host.
