I'm concerned about the impact ultra-processed foods are having on our health, and I'm keen to learn more about how organic foods are produced. In my spare time, I love sourcing organic produce and cooking delicious, wholesome meals. I had my first WWOOFing experience in Ancona, Italy, where I worked on an organic farm run by a wonderful Italian family. I'm now looking forward to learning more about organic farming practices in Australia and spending more time immersed in nature.

We are excited to join WWOOFing in Australia to experience the country's unique culture and farming practices up close. As nature lovers, we see this as a great opportunity to work on different farms, expand our skills, and learn new things. We also appreciate how WWOOFing allows us to travel sustainably, form authentic connections with local hosts, and discover parts of Australia that most tourists never see.   When we return to Germany, we are considering living in a self-built tiny house in nature. Our dream is to lead a more self-sufficient lifestyle, growing some of our own food and possibly living off-grid. We believe that the practical experience we gain through WWOOFing will teach us valuable skills for this future.   Through WWOOFing, we also want to explore different approaches to life and see various lifestyle concepts. This will help us better understand what kind of life we want to create for ourselves, balancing sustainability, freedom, and connection with nature.

After I finished University, I wanted to take some time away to experience something different. I wanted to experience new places and cultures and spend some time outdoors volunteering. Wwoofing is a great way to do this. I enjoy spending time in nature and learning new things and I am fit and strong. I have spent much of the last 9 months wwoofing in a variety of different countries such as  Germany, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand and now Australia. It had been a really valuable and amazing experience.

We are interested in natural living and organic farming. We want to experience the power of nature and learn how to grow vegetables organically. The opportunity to live with Aussies is also a big attraction for us.

We have been developing our Permaculture Homestead on our 21ha property for over 3 years now. Equipped with a solid Permaculture skillset, thanks to Bill Mollison‘s legacy and our hands-on approach, we progress further with our plentiful projects: creating a Food Forest, Veggie Gardens, working on Biodiversity, supporting Wildlife and focusing on Regenerative Practises.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve fallen in love with Australia so much, so I decided to extend my Working Holiday visa. I wanted to find a way to contribute something meaningful to this country as part of the extension process. While many people choose to work on farms or in factories in the primary industry to meet the visa requirements—which I understand can be meaningful in its own way—I was hoping to do something even more rewarding and memorable, something that would feel meaningful both for myself and for Australia. The idea of living with a local host family also felt really special to me. I became particularly interested in WWOOF after a Japanese friend, who is currently doing WWOOFing, highly recommended it and shared how much she enjoys the experience.

We arrived in Perth on January 15th and are looking to join a family to help our hosts and immerse ourselves in Australian culture by being immersed. We both appreciate nature and like to discover new things. Used to working together, especially through the grape harvest, collaborative work is not a problem for us. Persevering, willing and motivated, we are ready to take on any challenge to allow us to continue on our way. We are available from February 9th. Alicia & Carla

I've been living in central Melbourne from the beginning of my stay in Australia. Now I feel like that I know about very little part of this country. I want to spend my time in different situations.

I have a strong passion for sustainability and dream to make the world a better place. I think that working on creating better food systems is key in addressing climate change and so I would like to do some WWOOFing to learn more about farming and get some experience along with a needed break from academic work. I am very eager to learn, excited to experience new things, and meet new people.

I've already been to Australia as an au pair when I was young and I would really like to go back to live with locals, because I have a beautiful memory of it. I've already done WWOOF volunteer in New Zeland and I really like it and that is why I would still like to have the opportunity to live a new experience with Australian hosts.

136 acres (55ha) of gorgeous hill country farm, surrounded by the Easter National Park. We farm Marron (freshwater crayfish), in 10ac (4ha) of dams. We are situated in the beautiful Southwest of Western Australia just south of Nannup & close to tourist destinations, including Margaret River (70km). We currently have 9 goats, goats Dolly Parton & Vincent van Goat in charge & new billy goat Leonardo attempting to take over. Also, there are rescue pigs Virginia Wolfe & Richard, who are tasked with soil aeration. Basically digging up paddocks & making a bloody mess, but are fun to have around. We have just added sheep to livestock mix, with 18 ewes, Roger Ram Jet the ram, (he is a bit old & lame, but seems to get the job none) & this year 20 new lambs. We have 3 chooks (chickens) for fresh eggs and Russel Crow III, the rooster. I have just purchased an egg incubator and must get cracking on hatcheting new chickens, as my girls are getting  bit old.

Our Place:  We (Jane and Aaron) are hosting a tiny experience from Australian miniature goats, miniature donkeys, miniature ponies (Pepper and Spice) and Aussie White sheep. The hobby farm is situated at Copping, SE coast of Tasmania en route to Port Arthur and 20 minutes from rural town, Sorell.  5 minutes from our place is beautiful beach Marion Bay beach. The property is a mix of pasture, trees and small vegie gardens. There is a tiny home that is used as an Airbnb and a family friendly cottage that we are renovating at present. The farm has 1 friendly border collie. What we offer and what is involved:  We would like to share our time and your time spending with the animals and helping to keep the farm maintained so the animals have the best home possible. This involves brushing the animals, (more like a scratch) hanging out with the animals to aid in human contact, feeding, manure picking up, gardening, pasture management, weeding and general odd jobs. If your a competent horse rider this would be an advantage. Accommodation:  There is a fully equipped bus (shower +toilet+ oven+sink+ queen bed), modern design, dry and tidy.   Plenty of storage and your own garden if your stay is long term.

After 10+ years in the finance industry i felt like a change, it was not something i wanted to do for the next 10 years of my life. I have a passion for travelling and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I have a strong interest now in becoming Self-sufficient as much as possible and living in communities. I left my company in January this year and have been living on an organic farm in Yeppoon, Woofing which has been great. I've developed a strong interest in learning more about permaculture, Bio-dynamics and syntropic farming. I'm now looking to increase my knowledge in these areas by visiting different farms/communities to learn more. I had never heard of Woofing before this year and it's opened my eyes to a whole new world. I feel the idea of Woofing's is incredible as I've realized in my few months on this farm the amount of work that's put in. looking forward to the next adventure.

We are looking for up to 2 people to help feed cattle and sheep, and a handyman that would like to do some building work such as fencing and putting up a new shed. We have 1000 acres of native vegetation, 4500 acres of grazing country for farming & bee keeping, with red undulating soil. Volunteering on our farm includes sheep & cattle stock work, farm chores, fencing, organic gardening, milking cows, tending sheep, chickens & turkeys, pruning trees and whatever else needs doing. Depending on the seasons we need help with baby  calves, cows to be milked by hand and bee hives that need to be expanded. No experience necessary but preferred, we will show you what to do! Currently we need help with cutting fire wood around the property as winter here in Australia is around the corner, this will consist of 3 to 4 hours per day and can help get you some pocket money and also experience the land. I also have bee hives that need some attention and some gardening in our orchard. Please get in touch with us today. Looking forward to hearing from you. Happy Days. If you are interested in learning something new and getting to know what life on an Australian Farm is like, you are more than welcome to stay with us.  Come and experience star gazing, fresh night time air, sit around a lovely fire pit during the colder months around great friends and also we have a fun happy pool room to have lots of fun and laughs together.
