Skills I Want to Learn:
I joined WWOOF because I am ready to experience new adventures away from home. WWOOF allows me to get to know the culture and the way of life of the people in Australia. My boyfriend lives on a farm with 40 cows and several thousand chickens. Sometimes I help out in the barn. I really enjoy working with the animals and doing other work on the farm. When I was a child, my grandfather had a small farm with sheep, horses, rabbits, cats and goats. Even back then, I used to go there once a week and spend time with the animals. That's why I can imagine working on a farm, but also in private households. I hope that I can get to know the local people better through WWOOF. I am very interested in the culture and way of life in other countries. I would therefore be particularly pleased to be able to experience their everyday life with my host. In my opinion, participating in WWOOF is a very good way to travel Australia, work there and create many valuable memories. I am looking forward to being a part of it very soon.

I am looking around for a farm job, I know it’s not low season which is maybe one of the reasons I didn’t find a job… but if I’m honest I think I didn’t found a job because I’m looking for a farm with a community-vibe and I think it’s easier to achieve this in a place with volunteers. I also would like to work in a small community with a lot of different work (for example different vegetables) and be surrounded with like minded people.

I joined WWOOF because I love nature and want to experience a sustainable way of living. I’m interested in connecting with local people and learning about different lifestyles. Through WWOOFing, I hope to gain hands-on experience in farming and self-sufficient living while contributing to the host’s work. I enjoy working with my hands and learning new skills, and I’m excited to be part of a local community. I look forward to exchanging knowledge, making new friends, and experiencing everyday life in a new place!

We come from the countryside ourselves and grew up next to farms. We love animals and nature and the wwoofing community offers a great opportunity to learn new things, support the local people and all this in a setting that is conducive to our travelling and the locals.

I have always loved the country. I would love to live on a larger property but understand the workload. I joined to find out the reality of having a rural property. I need to be either talked into it or talked out of it 😆 I’m also tired of being on my phone and watching TV, I’m keen to get outdoors.

We decided to join the WWOOF program for several reasons. First, after spending several months traveling along a large part of the West Coast and working in Australia, we want to continue discovering the country in an authentic and immersive way.   As young travelers, we love meeting new people, learning new skills, and immersing ourselves in the local culture. Our first WWOOFING experience near Perth was incredible—we took care of animals, worked in the garden, and helped with DIY projects. It reinforced our belief that the best way to experience Australia is by sharing daily life with locals and actively contributing to their communities.   WWOOF allows us to combine meaningful work with unforgettable experiences, and we’re excited to keep learning and helping wherever we go. We can’t wait to meet new hosts and create more amazing memories!   Pauline & Jules 🌞

I join for volunteer. I would like to work to help for people in need. Because a lot of people have helped me in my life. so I am thinking I would like to help a lot of people little by little. This is first step for that.
