Le WWOOF va nous permettre de nous enrichir personnellement à travers les personnes qui nous entoure. Nous avons eu des retours sur la bienveillance des hôtes et c’est ce que nous recherchons. C’est une aventure humaine riche en émotion. WWOOF will allow us to enrich ourselves personally through the people around us. We have received feedback on the kindness of the hosts and that is what we are looking for. It’s a human adventure rich in emotion.

The reason I wanted to join WWOOF is because I want to learn how to live life more sustainably and responsibly. As time passes, I’ve noticed that I am becoming more and more dependent on materialistic and superficial things. Therefore, WWOOF is the prime opportunity for me to learn how to appreciate what truly matters in life. Furthermore, I’ve always had an appreciation of the agriculture and farming industry, since my household also took part in strawberry farming, I understand how difficult it is to run a farm. Which is why I would like to lend a hand when possible to those who need help, in exchange for the opportunity to meet new people and learn from their way of life. I hope to become a more environmentally responsible person after my experiences with WWOOF, as well as gain a more profound understanding and appreciation of the Australian organic farming industry.

We joined WWOOF to experience the farm work and help as much as we could the farmer's business. We are interested in meeting farmers and living the experience with them. It will also allow us as backpackers to explore the areas and cities around Australia. We love to gain knowledge and practice on farms thus educating ourselves about their job tasks.

Wollangarra is an absolutely amazing place on a river flat of the Macalister river in the Victorian High Country. The homestead is totally off-grid. The river flat around the homestead has a thriving veggie garden and we run a small mob of sheep. We have a number of orchards and chooks and everything else required for the place to be semi self sufficient. Wollangarra is an outdoor education centre and the homestead and river flat acts as the homebase to many adventures with young people who come to be a part of it all and hike up into the mountains. WWOOFing at Wollangarra will include getting involved in whatever is happening at the time - this could be anything from weeding the vegie garden through to going hiking in the mountains. You will need to be comfortable interacting with young people (usually aged around 15), be interested in simple living without phone access and/or electricity and be interested in outdoor education and/or conservation. We welcome anyone keen to be a part of it all!

WWOOF is how I like to travel and meet people. Contact with nature is essential for me. I will learn to speak English and meet other personalities. I also like volunteering in exchange for room and board, it's a good thing as a technique

When I was in Japan, really into wine and food pairing. Also I have the license of registrant dietitian, then interested in organic food and wine. I tried to grow some vegetables without any chemicals at my home though it was very difficult to grow up. Therefore I would love to learn how to make them and meet many people who like nature, food and wine:)

Lovely mixed farming in the hinterland of Coffs Harbour. Spring fed creeks with waterfalls and swimming. We drink our creek water and use it in our house. Busy farm with lots of animals including sheep, goats, horses, cattle, poultry and donkeys. Must love animals and be able to work closely with them. We are pretty much self sustainable and harvest our own food from our gardens and animals, so also have to be comfortable with this. So much to do in the gardens, animal husbandry and general farm work (lots of shovelling poo!!). Beautiful countryside with beaches and Coffs Harbour within an hour of home. Friendly hosts who have a lot of fun in the community. The accommodation is outstanding, although shared with five dogs and orphaned animals. I have lived all over the world so am understanding of travel and cultures. Would love to share our paradise with others who are eager, enthusiastic, energetic and friendly. Lots to do in your time off around the area.

I have joined WWOOF to explore and learn. I love to travel and help people so I am hoping this will be a way of doing both in times that suit me. I have recently spent 3 weeks volunteering on a Farm Stay and enjoyed the lifestyle and changes in routine. I would like to learn more about organic farming, living off grid and working with animals

I signed up because I want to help, learn and see places and crops other than the ones I know. I am excited to make the most of my tourist visa and can't wait to start in a facility ready to host me.

I joined wwoof because now would be the perfect time for me to engage in the work on a farm, before uni starts around April. I want to see what actual farm work is like and how you can make it as nature friendly as possible. I love meeting new people and woofing is just right for that as well :). I hope I can learn a lot about nature and how to life sustainable, wwoofing just sounds amazing to me!

Gday hosts! My name is Huon, I am 23 with my partner Jess who is 29. I am into surfing, diving and being outside! Myself and my partner have a big passion in living a low impact life eating organic food and connecting with the people around us! My background is in civil construction and concreting. Through my work I’ve done everything from creating wetland systems, concrete jetty’s, road projects, small estates and bulk earthworks. As I’ve grown up always been super involved with working in the garden and being out in the bush. I always have the drive to learn more about living within nature and the skills that go alongside that! I have joined wwoof so that I can gain many more experiences that grow my skills, quality relationships with others and outlook on life. Very excited for what the future holds. Kind regards Huon smith

I wish to learn good agricultural practices and organic farming techniques, to grow a small organic garden as my hobby later. It would be great ( and proud too) to offer safe produce (of good taste certainly) to beloved ones and friends.

I believe in the power of learning through experience and the idea that working on organic farms can provide invaluable hands-on experience that books and classrooms can't replicate. I'm eager to immerse myself in different farming environments, learn from seasoned farmers, and gain a deeper understanding of the diverse practices within the organic farming community.

Our "farm" is 64 hectares. We purchased this property as a "downsize" from our career certified organic farm, which we had run for 47 years. On "Murramia" we have cattle, sheep, hens, a beehive and a garden for beauty and food. We have begun to develop a whole environment design to our new farm with the installation of a dam, associated overflow control drain/swale and a direct seeded treebelt of native species. Our animalls came with us from our previously certified organic farm. We were able to get "Murramia" as a certified organic farm but have decided to dis-continue maintaining certification. We do still continue only using organic practices. Ron has received numerous international and national awards for his sustainable environmental design of agricultural landscapes and recently has become involved in sustainable urban designing using the same whole of environment approach. We have 10 hectares of native bush which if any of our animals are so found within the fenced off area do so under great risk of being "exiled". Suzanne is into granite rocks and patchwork!

We like to switch up our activities and be spontaneous. We also want to give something back to the country we're staying in and we like to meet a lot of different people and learn about their lives. Furthermore we're curious about the difference in farming and culture compared to the Netherlands.
