I joined WWOOF to connect with new people and experience the real Australian lifestyle. While surfing is one of my passions, I also enjoy spending time in nature and getting involved in farm work. I see this as a great opportunity to learn about farming, meet interesting people, and contribute with a positive attitude. I’m looking forward to gaining new farm skills and making the most of my time on the farm!

City/Town:
Farming Methods: Biodynamic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home
I have 6 Acres next to Lake Wivenhoe, 1 hour drive from Brisbane. The lake is (3-5 min drive and you are at the water’s edge), so this will provide convenient recreational opportunities such as swimming, fishing & boating, mount Glorious Rd is also just a few minutes away which too is a beautiful area to explore. I have at least one spare room so am happy to provide accommodation.

We will be in Australia from beg April to mid July 2025 and we are looking for several experiences, max 1 week each time. Our targets are 1 - Perth/Margaret river/Albany/Denmark area for 1 week between 1st to 20th of April. 2 - Darwin area for 1 week around Mid May. 3 - Adelaïde area for 1 week from 1st to 15th of June. As part of our stay in Australia, we would like to have cultural exchanges with Australian people and get a volunteering experience for our boys and us. Wwhoofing seems to be the perfect scheme for us to give some of our time to support!

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian organic farms, learn new skills and experience a different life style then in the city. I love working outdoors and being around animals and in the nature. It’s also a great way to meet new people, connect with the locals and see a different side of Australia while traveling.

I joined WWOOF out of a curiousity in permaculture, soil health and mushroom growing. I work in a laboratory with a wonderful team of scientists and I have a love of the outdoors and food production so am wanting to get my hands dirty (literally) exploring the world outside the city! See the about me section for the mixture of food and science that I love and want to keep on exploring!

I joined WWOOF to get the most out of a working holiday visa in Australia. I'm an industrial abseiled by trade but I'm very keen to see some alternative modes of living, learn new skills while making a positive contribution to the world around me. If I can get some great physical work, some good company, some delicious meals, and a few great nights sleep put of WWOOFing I'll be happy. If I end up with great friends, I'll be over the moon!

I joined WWOOF to immerse myself more deeply in Australian rural life, learn new skills, and contribute to meaningful farm work. I see this experience as a unique opportunity to connect with local communities, understand sustainable farming practices, and gain a real taste of life in Australia. One of my goals is to become bilingual in English and improve my language skills, and I believe working and interacting with locals will greatly help me achieve this. Through WWOOFing, I hope to broaden my horizons, develop practical skills, and create memorable cultural exchanges. I am eager to share my enthusiasm, positivity, and work ethic, and I believe this journey will be enriching both personally and culturally

For us the woofing is a very good way to improve our English and discover Australie. We wanted to meet people and share moments with them, discover new places and new ways of life. We have already an experience in woofing in Australia and we are always ready to help : gardening, taking care of animals, fencing, cooking, cleaning, repairing, mowing, weeding, concrete, … we are also curious to learn new things 🙂 We’re motivated, dynamic and very happy to meet new people!

I am eager to experience the unique lifestyle and culture of Australia, and I am particularly interested in working on a farm surrounded by nature. I enjoy working with animals, am physically fit, and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I have experience with homestays in New Zealand, the United States, China, and Australia, and I am used to adapting to different lifestyles. I’m happy to help with housework, gardening, pet care, and any other tasks needed around the home or farm. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, walking dogs, and learning about different cultures. I’m calm, respectful, and always do my best when working. I am also confident communicating in English. I would be happy to support you in any way I can. Thank you for considering me!
