I joined wwoof so I could gain more farm experience as well as occupy myself while being away from home for so long. I like to have a schedule and work to do and I really enjoy travelling and I was told this is a great way to do it!

We are currently full and not taking any more people at the moment, thank you:) Welcome to our beautiful 26 acre property in the Byron Hinterland. It is a 7-minute drive to Mullumbimby and 25 minutes to local beaches. We are offering a self-contained, open-plan studio. We are looking for help managing the upkeep of our property and helping us recover from the bushfires by replanting native trees, weeding, mulching, pruning, re-building fences, as well as mowing, brush cutting, chainsawing and basic regen work, land clearing and other repairs that need to be done. We grow some of our food here so caring for that as well, while enjoying the lovely taste of organic Australian fruits and veggies. We are located in an area affected by natural disasters and are in need of help getting back on track because of the damage caused by Cyclone Alfred, your time here will be counted as the 88 days towards your second year visa. We hold weekly and monthly meditation groups at our place which you are most welcome to attend.

I'm interested in organic growing and would like to get some hands on knowledge. I know a bit about gardening but I like to learn from different approaches. I enjoy being outdoors and trying new things.

Because I already received so much love in Australia and grew as a person, I want to give something back to the country I fell in love with. For me life is all about giving and helping each other out. I love the community aspect and I heard from friends that WWOOFing is a great way to work to gain experiences and friends. I volunteered in social organisations and it gave me so much peace that I do something I love whilst receiving so much gratitude. It keeps my heart full. Additionally, I feel privileged to travel the world it’s my pleasure to help out wherever I can.

Quamby Farm is a close to self sufficient property in the Grampians, Halls Gap. We have dogs, sheep, cows, chickens and sometimes other poultry or raise pigs. The Farm grows organic garlic, and has a market garden that supplies our road side farm gate all year round. We have 2 accommodation places rented through airbnb and WWOOF'ers have a second story bedroom with a comfortable bed in our home. There are 3 small orchards, some netted. The farm has wetlands and an area for wildlife.

I want to be part of the nature and expolre the true value inside me and at the same time experience the life of country side of Aus. I've had busy and untruthful life in Korea. I didn't know much of myself in terms of what i like, what i wanna do, what I'm good at... Rather I would follow the path of what other people were taking( study in highschool, getting into college, apply for jobs) This made me wonder who I am and what i value in life . I think exploring Aus would give me good answers to these questions. I look forward to my upcoming experiences

We joined WWOOF because we are convinced of the concept. We like the combination of discovering a new country, making contacts and working. We are already familiar with WWOOF through Luisa's family's farm, which is itself part of WWOOF Germany and through a month of WWOOFing in Australia.

After three years of living in NZ,That place made me dream of having my place to grow my own food and actually live in a part of the ecosystem. But I felt like I’d like to travel more before having my own place to settle. And I thought WWOOF is the best combination of traveling, and learning mindsets and skills. That’s why I did join WWOOF. Thank you.

I'm 29 years old, but I’ve actually known about the WWOOF system since my university days and have always been interested in it. Back then, my mind was completely occupied with thoughts about my future and finding a job, so even though I wanted to try WWOOFing, I never took that first step. But now, being on a working holiday has finally given me the opportunity to do so. To extend my working holiday visa, I worked on a farm for three months. Unfortunately, the working conditions were quite poor, and I don’t want to judge all farm work in Australia based on just that experience. I genuinely want to experience the real Australian lifestyle. Through WWOOF, I hope to communicate with hosts, learn from them, and make the most of this unique and valuable opportunity to be part of daily life in Australia.

115 acres just over one hour inland from the coast, tea gardens , one hour and a half north of Newcastle. A fresh start to a new project our vision to create food forests and working community based around the permaculture and syntropic agro forestry principals , we run a small nursery to propogate our vegetables and fruit trees for our land , the vision one day is to have a working model of organic orchards and vegetable production based around education and learning , with land care ,water care using key line contour swales and water catchments to slow the water and retain life to grow our food and all which we need to support a small working community. We are fresh to this new space and there is a lot of work to do for this big vision . We will introduce in time many working systems to benefit the whole living system which we live . We have just moved in and are at the beginning of this amazing adventure. The property has three dams and walking tracks throughout the whole property which backs onto ghin-doo-ee national park . Abundant with wildlife . A true beauty of nature .We are pro active and embrace trade and support in searching for seeds , materials and long connections  ,We look forward to learning and sharing on this adventure. We are drug and alcohol free on our land and ask for respect for woofers to support in this same way :):)

During my studies, I gained work experience in various fields, which has made me an open-minded and curious individual, always ready to embrace new challenges. Thanks to my host family, I discovered WWOOF, which might just be the perfect place to find my next adventure! 🙂

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
