I joined wwoof because I want to learn more about farming and gardening. I'm hoping to explore some different areas and meet some great people along the way as I harness these skills.

I decided to join WWOOF because I wanted to experience life in a more authentic and meaningful way than ordinary travel. I have always been interested in nature, sustainable living, and organic farming, but I have not had many opportunities to practice them. When I spent about a week living in the city, I realized that this environment did not suit me. Since I was born and raised in the countryside where agriculture was always close to me, I strongly felt that rural life fits me better. WWOOF gives me the chance to connect with that lifestyle again while also learning directly from local hosts. At the same time, I have always admired the idea of living abroad in the future. Through WWOOF, I hope to gain experience of working in a different culture, improve my communication skills, and develop the adaptability needed for an international lifestyle. Ultimately, I joined WWOOF because I want to challenge myself, contribute to the community, and discover a lifestyle closer to nature while preparing for my dream of living overseas.

Our family property is in a very, very beautiful part of Australia, right at the Southern base of Mount Warning. It is surrounded by 3 World Heritage National Parks and is a highly pristine, tranquil and secluded wilderness environment. Our property is 100 acres of mostly forested land.  It has a creek, walking tracks, wildlife and gorgeous views out over the National Park mountains.  All that can be seen is mountains and trees, it is amazing.  We have a small cleared area on the side of the mountain where we have our house, a cabin, a camping area, a dam, greenhouses, and a syntropic system. We also have spaces set aside for future market gardening and commercial hemp cultivation. We love living and working here! We are able to provide the 88 day visa extension allowance, for disaster recovery assistance.

I join because I will start working in a farm and will have to join in wwoof in order to make my framework for the visa. Moreover, I like the job you offer and how everything works. I think its a good way to explore new places and new people with this webpage.

At Budou Farms, we're passionate about growing delicious grapes while nurturing our land! We embrace regenerative practices, which means we're constantly working to improve soil health and biodiversity. You won't find us tilling our fields, as non-tillage helps keep the soil structure intact and its microscopic life thriving. Plus, we're all about smart canopy management to ensure our plants get just the right amount of sunlight and airflow for optimal growth and fruit quality, It's all about working with nature to grow the best for you!

HELP NEEDED with PUPPY CARE (breeding litter) for 1 MONTH: from approx Nov 13 to Dec 13/14 2025. Findlay Farm is an ORGANIC OFF GRID establishing farm (since 2023). We are located in Bailup, WA on 100 acres, bit of bush, but mostly grazing farm land with amazing views. Suzanne manages the farm following PERMACULTURE PRINCIPLES, she studied Permaculture Cert 3 in 2022. We are a cattle and sheep farm for organic grass fed beef and lamb, we produce organic honey, and are in the process of establishing organic fruit and vegetable produce. Outstanding projects are: orchard, chicken coop, lawn, retic, fencing, storage organisation, landscaping. We also breed Pedigree Australian Shepherds, which requires puppy care. We have a fully independent little unit (with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette) for the Wwoofer(s). It can take a couple who likes to sleep snuggly.

The first time I knew about WWOOF was from a friend who told me a story about it. I was very interested in this organization and I decided to join it. Originally I was interested in agriculture, dairy farming and Australia.WWOOF is for me! But I can’t  speak English very well so I was afraid to participate. Now still I can’t speak English great so I’m learning  how to communicate by English in the Philippines. I would love to achieve Australia.

I thought it was amazing that I could learn about organic farming and be so close to people's lives. I'm hoping to build up a lot of relationships in Australia, as I have a bright and positive personality, so I'm looking forward to talking to them and getting to know them.

136 acres (55ha) of gorgeous hill country farm, surrounded by the Easter National Park. We farm Marron (freshwater crayfish), in 10ac (4ha) of dams. We are situated in the beautiful Southwest of Western Australia just south of Nannup & close to tourist destinations, including Margaret River (70km). We currently have 9 goats, goats Dolly Parton & Vincent van Goat in charge & new billy goat Leonardo attempting to take over. Also, there are rescue pigs Virginia Wolfe & Richard, who are tasked with soil aeration. Basically digging up paddocks & making a bloody mess, but are fun to have around. We have just added sheep to livestock mix, with 18 ewes, Roger Ram Jet the ram, (he is a bit old & lame, but seems to get the job none) & this year 20 new lambs. We have 3 chooks (chickens) for fresh eggs and Russel Crow III, the rooster. I have just purchased an egg incubator and must get cracking on hatcheting new chickens, as my girls are getting  bit old.

To learn about different gardening and farming techniques in Australia. I come from a farming background and have gardened my whole life. I hope to never stop learning and this is a great way to do this. I have wwoofed in NZ and will be set up as a host in the near future so I know what it's like on both sides.

To find places to stay as I travel that will hopefully give me more experience working in the cattle industry. I am keen to learn anything you can teach me related to cattle and station upkeep, and in exchange you will have a hard worker eager to do a good job.

I want to work jobs that matter and be around authentic people in an authentic atmosphere. My hope is to learn new things, help out the hosts and get a glimpse of the daily life on an Australian farm. I have a little experience in farm work and animal care and I really enjoyed it. Getting to know interesting people and making good memories is another point why I signed up for WWOOF.

I want to work on a farm or with people who are more down-to-earth and friendly, compared to the larger farms I have worked at before, where the atmosphere wasn’t always great. I am looking for a more human experience. Also, I need to reduce my expenses for a while.

Interested in good food (and where it comes from), geography, connecting with people and places. Particularly eager to learn more about and help with landcare, animal husbandry, permaculture, farm work, general practical/outdoor skills. Grew up in small-town coastal Aus, not afraid of hard work, mud or muck. I also have extensive education/childcare experience and am a pretty tidy person, so happy to help with indoor/family tasks as well. Happy working with other people (often described by other as friendly/chatty) or in customer facing roles. To live and work with: I'm generally calm, early sleeper and riser, clean and organised, practice yoga daily, non-smoker and rarely drink but more than able to be around other ways of living (once had 30 housemates for over a year!). I think I tend to work best when I am also being challenged (physically or mentally), enjoy working with and getting to know others, but am also quite independent and happy to get on with a job or do my own thing.
