We also run a tiny home and small campsite for travellers.  We also run a large Hot Air Ballooning company on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa hinterland.

I joined WWOOF because I would like to learn all kinds of stuff about farming and the life in Australia. I generally like a more peaceful life like on a farm and not in the city in a random hostel with a job like most backpackers

I joined WWOOF because I love trying new things and stepping outside my comfort zone. Traveling is something I’m really passionate about, and WWOOF is such a cool way to do that while learning new skills and meeting great people. As a college student, I’m always looking for budget-friendly ways to explore, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to experience different lifestyles while working in unique environments. I’m so excited for the adventure ahead!

We joined this volunteer program to make a meaningful contribution to the community and immerse ourselves in Australian culture on a deeper level. As part of our visa extension requirements, this opportunity allows us to give back to the place that has given us so much, all while gaining new experiences, meeting incredible people, and making lasting memories together.

To take part in an exchange of my labour for cultural and technical learning. I enjoy gardening and working outdoors. To make my extended holiday less mundane. Maybe to help me be less afraid of coming across snakes and spiders in Australia.

I love to travel and discover new countries, cultures and I also love to meet new people. And since I recently graduated, I want to take time now to do things that will be more difficult to organize later, like woofing. And of course, I would love to improve my english. When I told my friends that I wanted to go woofing, they were barely surprised : they say it really suits my personality of always being curious about anything, so I think this experience is an excellent choice for me.

We are a hobby farm on the edge of suburbia in Mariginiup and just 37km north of Perth. Our little farm is 3.6acres (1.6 hectares) and consists mainly of paddocks for the horse, trees, two houses and gardens. Our pets include chickens, ducks, parrots, foster cats and kittens, two adult cats, one large fluffy dog and one very small fluffy dog and one horse. We are a Christian family of five, which is made up of two wonderful teenagers, my Mum (Grandma) and my husband Martin and myself, Cheryl.  I work on my neighbours property, (equineassistedlearning.com.au) , Martin works in the city and sometimes at home and my Mum is retired and involved a lot in the community. My kids are all studying and working. We are a 10 minute walk to the bus and that bus will take you to the Joondalup/Mandurah train line where you can travel into Perth city easily.

In the search for new skills I am especially drawn but not restricted  to Community-sufficiency, Syntropic Agroforestry and food forests in general, Deep Ecology, Permaculture, Irrigation systems, Living Design process and the lists never ends as I am still in the process of gathering as much information to later on carve it out in the shapes of knowledge and wisdom applied to my own context . I have been living in Australia for last 7 years where I have had multiple jobs and household arrangement with lots of skills acquired and transferable to the WWOOF community ethics. I am now jumping into a more hands-on experience after having spent the last 2-3 years in the theoretical realm of books and courses in the above-mentioned topics. To sum up, my goal is to gather as much information, knowledge and wisdom as I can for the next 6-8 months to take it back to Colombia where my like-minded crew is awaiting for it. In exchange, I have the most positive attitude, a hard-working spirit and a resilient mindset to wwoof away.

I am very interested in learning about permaculture, biodynamic organic gardening/farming, sustainability, community style living, land and soil regeneration, food foresting, homesteading, taking care of farm animals, and equine-assisted therapy. I hope to have my own space in the future to live in this way and share what I have learned with others. I consider myself to be a capable learner and dependable.

Our flower farm is on a hill with lovely views about 5 minutes outside Yass, NSW; that is three hours south of Sydney, 55 minutes from Goulburn and 45 minutes away from Canberra, the attractive national capital. We are a developing ‘whole’ flower farm - growing, cooking, bunching, drying and crafting with flowers, fruit and plants of all kinds, and taking bouquets and preserves to local markets and cafes. We follow organic and sustainable practices and are continually improving our soil and planting. We have developed a very attractive farm, with beautiful house, gazebos, gardens and landscaped areas, intending to soon welcome the public for tours and workshops. We look forward to our WWOOFers being able to enjoy our farm and learn about our farmlife and practices, while assisting with the farm's development. Beyond our property you can see livestock on neighbouring properties, kangaroos, the hills of the picturesque Yass River Valley and, in the distance, the Brindabella mountains that lead to the Snowy Mountains, while on our properties you can meet our two friendly Maremma sheepdogs, two cats, Babydoll sheep, chickens, ducks and geese, watch all the wild birdlife and use our heated swimming pool. Both the dogs and cats sleep in the house with us overnight. We work hard on our farm, and there's a lot to do every day- but we tailor the place and hours of work to suit the weather and season. If it is going to be hot we might start very early and rest in middle of the day. If it rains, there are indoor tasks to complete. We can tailor the work to your your special interests and competencies, give you lots of free time to relax and help you with sightseeing. We invite you to enjoy home-cooked meals with us, have a laugh, and socialise with our family and friends. We hope to meet enthusiastic, responsible and mature WWOOFers, who enjoy country surroundings, who are keen to learn and help out, and are appreciative and respectful, just like we are. Send us a message with any questions, and an idea of how long you’d like to stay – we look forward to hearing from you!

I enjoy working in my garden and would like to use my stay in Australia to get involved in organic farming. My son went WWOOFing in England when he was at school. I already knew at that point that I would really like to try it out. I love meeting new people and mastering new challenges.

50-acre hobby farm, nestled in between the Burrum Coast National Park and the Isis River on a section of pristine waterway, a breathtaking natural environment. 30 minutes from Hervey Bay. We are using biodynamic principles to create our own soil and fertlisers, for food production and barter. Sandy soil means we start from scratch building raised garden areas and creating fertile soil using the resources nature supplies. Meet our friendly chickens and see nature up close as parrots, ducks, kangaroos, and wallabies regularly come to browse. Swim in the river, fish, kayak, bird watch or just relax in your downtime.

My grandmother loves gardening, and I love gardening too. I prefer living closer to nature than closer to a city. I would like to learn more about gardening from family in Australia

This is an inner city house on a small block of land (5km from airport & 5km from Sydney CBD) close to transport. I have an organic garden, some trees, and vegetables and enjoy to eat from my garden. There is always weeding, pruning, compost to spread & some house maintenance. Accommodation for 2 in a double bed with own bedroom. No smoking inside. I welcome people with a great outlook on life and interest in the maintenance of an organic garden in an urban environment and the choice of appropriate vegetables to grow in raised garden beds.I am disabled, so my meals are delivered, but I usually eat with Wwoofas. There is a great shop a few hundred metres away, so I give my guests money to cook what they would like for themselves St Peters is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It has some great cafes , craft breweries and distilleries We are very close to Sydney and in St Peters we have an incredible Rock Climbing Walls , a Trapeze School, Churches, and of course we are not far from the Sydney Opera House. St Peters has good transport to Circular Quay and the Opera House and ferries.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
