We are currently building at the Witchcliffe Ecovillage, just 10 minutes south of Margaret River in Western Australia. It is one of the best sustainable lifestyle villages in the world in a beautiful region. Although we have not yet developed our garden area, organic vegetables and fruit trees are predominant thoughout the village and there are dams of fresh water where you can swim. My husband and I are owner builders and are building a passive solar timber framed home. If you have building skills, assisting with building would be fantastic at the moment. We are currently living 8kms away in Margaret River where we can provide you with your own separate bedroom, your own bathroom and own toilet. Shared healthy meals provided. It's preferable to have your own car so that you can explore the amazing beaches, bush walks, caves and forests in your spare time. Learn about sustainability, organic growing and shared community living.

To help others. To help people and the environment. To help myself. To potentially travel more again. And to pursue hobbies I enjoy in my spare time, hopefully, and I believe as well, with like-minded people.

We are mainly vegetarians with a few meat dishes on occasions unless we have vegetarians staying. We don't cater for vegans, mostly our meals have dairy and eggs and we don't substitute. No children. No smoking, not even outside. Own bathroom. Min stay 2 weeks. We are close to Brisbane city, only 25 kms away.  On your downtime, we can take you to the bus station, only 25 minutes on the bus to the city, catch a train to the Gold Coast or take a water taxi ride to Stradbroke Island for the day.  A variety of activities and events are happening all year round in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The city's hustle and bustle have become too much for me. I'm tired of the noise, the crowds, and the never-ending rush. That's why I've decided to settle on a farm. On the farm, life is simpler. Instead of honking horns and crowded streets, I'll wake up to the sounds of birds singing and the wind rustling through the trees. It's a peaceful escape from the chaos of city living. I'm looking forward to getting back to basics on the farm—growing my own food, breathing in fresh air, and feeling connected to the land. It's a chance to slow down and appreciate the little things in life.

I was told about WWOOF by a lady who hosted a B&B in Nietta Tasmania. The place was called "Buttons Cottage" Alison, the host said that she was a member and that she thought the program would suit me. I want to explore Tasmania a lot more so I only want part time casual work. WWOOF sounds ideal. Not too sure what type of pace I can work these days but all that I can do is have a go. I want to be helpful and productive in some way. So learning new skills would useful.

I have joined to experience more of Australia and to get off the tourist tracks. I have travelled down the East Coast where I loved seeing the wildlife, beaches and towns however, I really would also love to experience more rural Australian life. Having grown up growing fruit and vegetables in the kitchen garden; making soups and stews to use all the vegetables (and stay warm in the Scottish winters) I am passionate about sustainability, the importance of buying local to support small farming and want to learn more about sustainable farming practices.

I'm looking for a place to stay with my 2 cats for a semi permanent stay at least a month hopefully. I'm happy to work Friday Saturday Sunday as I will be working in Canberra during the week. I have a tent trailer to stay in so I won't need room and I'm happy to supply my own food but we can work out the details.

I joined Wwoof to hoppefully find a host who can accommodate my lifstyle. I've got into Fifo to try and make my dream become a reality. It definitely has the potential to, but I'm starting to really miss having a place to ground myself with working the land, being around animals, and with indivduals that share a certain perspective. I enjoy working hard for an honest, appreciative family. And at the end of it all being able to share and celebrate in the small but beautiful day to day parts of life.

I joined WWOOF to improve my knowledge of permaculture, but also to discover Australian culture, Australian farms and Australian wildlife. I studied Biology for 3 years in Switzerland and obtained a Bachelor's degree. I love nature, and I'm keen to improve my knowledge of permaculture. First of all for my personal knowledge, but also to find my way or find a way to link permaculture to my studies. If I get the chance to find somewhere where I can do my 88 days, I'd love to take it.

We are so fortunate to live in paradise, hight rainfall green pastures, nestled under magnificent mount Barrow. Usually once or twice a winter we’re treated to snow, adding a whole new element to our beautiful property. We proudly sit at our dining table and enjoy meals of all our own produce, from multiple vegetables to mouth watering beef. We have a closed in blueberry and raspberry enclosure ensuring our freezer is full and our cupboards stocked with preserves. We breed pedigree golden retrievers, black Angus cows, Birman cats, and light Sussex chooks go without saying, perfect entertainment for any animal lover. We have a permanent running creek, home for mountain trout and spectacular platypus who pop their delightful heads up every evening. Our house is quite large as our free range children have all left the nest. Leaving us with large empty bedrooms. Our wwoof guests are welcomed and treated as part of our family.

Our farm (called Infinity Farm) is located within The Revillaging Project, a new sustainability project on The Mornington Peninsula looking at alternate pathways to regenerative futures. The property is 20 magical acres, 2 of which we are farming, 10 of which is part of a large wetlands regeneration project. The rest hosts a meditation and yoga center, a small steiner inspired "school," a space for Indigenous cultural workshops, and our family home. The farm is a community and educational farm, in it's initial stages. It overlooks the wetlands, with tons of incredible birdlife (and humans) always coming to visit! Hard to sum up, please visit our website and instagram for more flavor of the place.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
