I love spending time outdoors with my friends or family. At home we have a big garden which I really like. There we have a lot of fruit trees and plants. I enjoy being in the nature whether it’s going for a swim, riding my bicycle or working in the garden. In addition I do not only have a big heart for kids, as I mentioned before but also for animals. I also really like vegetarian and vegan cooking and love trying out new recipes. I’m excited to learn new things, lend a hand wherever it’s needed with the kids, animals, in the kitchen, garden or around the house and be part of everyday life in a new place. I’m looking forward to new experiences!

I joined WWOOF through AIFS and l am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic& Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically. I also had the idea that if I came to Australia, there was nowhere I would rather work than on a farm, because I always wanted to be as close to nature and the "real"/authentic Australian way of life as possible. Also it is common sens that one of the biggest joys about traveling is to get in touch with locals and building great lasting relationships with them on the way. WWOOF seemed like the perfect opportunity for that.

FOR Adventure, and to learn new things and meet new people. I recently inherited a Toyota Camry in great condition and I want to take the car on some long distance trips. WWOOFing will allow me to travel and take my time to help out on farms and get local knowledge of the areas I visit. AVAIALBLE from 04/03/2025.

Qdos Arts is on 3 acres surrounded by Great Otway National park with loads of wild and bird life, a short downhill walk in the township and our famous surf beach. We grow organic produce. Our gardens raise heirloom seedlings in the hothouse for the table. Work includes developing compost nutritional soils; we care for a large orchard do general property maintenance.  We keep free range chickens and have our own bees, all to enhance the quality of our life and strive for sustainability.  Your accommodation is a small bungalow in the bush, we generally eat together all meals are provided. Longer stays are better for us. Generally in the winter months the ceramic studio gets busy for the annual kiln firing around August. So if your are interested in ceramics and wood firing kilns you will enjoy this.

Located in the Acheron Valley along the banks of the Goulburn river, picturesque panoramic views over the hills and the ranges are in abundance. My husband and I live on a 130 acre farm with about 60 kangaroos, approximatly 2 hours from Melbourne CBD. We have a fantastic outlook when the clouds roll in up the valley and over the nearby Cathedral Ranges, a popular hiking and camping destination, while Mt Bulla, (resort and the ski slopes) are located in the far distance about 1 1/2 hours drive away. The views are exceptional and provide much inspiration for our artwork and creative pursuits. Located just North of the Yarra Valley, we are situated in prime farming land 270metres above sea level, the Goulburn River winds it way past our property and into the distance. We are situated in the gateway to the North Central region of the State of Victoria. We have a lot of resident wildlife including the hairy nosed wombat, echidnas, many birds such as cockatoos, kookaburras, blue wrens and honey eaters to name a few. A stepping stone if you like, to many agricultural industries including orcharding, dairying, vineculture, and horticulture. In our imediate area we have wineries, cherry orchards, aquaculture, beef production, and horticulutal interests. Formally a dairy farm, our farm is quite large and features beef cattle, and horses. We are establishing an orchard/veggie garden and we have many house and garden maintenance jobs to complete. Although not certified, we do not use pesticides and aim to be organic whenever possible. We plan to build on and extend the 50 years of work including extensive tree planting that my parents have completed on the farm and we hope to create a wetland in the future. After a short stint with WWOOFers back in 2018, we have opened up our house and farm again to this wonderful experience. Take a trip on the wild side down under, we welcome your interest. Please send us a message via this platform and also text Caz 0400 997 655 to prompt me to read it. Sometimes we are slow to answer messages on this site as there may be a few days between visits.

We thought it was the perfect way to connect with Australian farming and get to know the Organic side of it. The flexibility also speaks to us aswell, as we really do want to have time to explore.

I would like to gain practical farm experience and get an idea of what I could do in the future. Australia's soils are very degraded, so I would like to volunteer on farms to help build healthy soil. I'm also wanting to gain some experience handling sheep, cattle and poultry to see if I have a leaning towards any or all of them.

After three years of living in NZ,That place made me dream of having my place to grow my own food and actually live in a part of the ecosystem. But I felt like I’d like to travel more before having my own place to settle. And I thought WWOOF is the best combination of traveling, and learning mindsets and skills. That’s why I did join WWOOF. Thank you.

We are new to gardens, veggies fish etc. No smoking property. Plenty of space to just bet away from it all. Must like dogs, turtles and fish. We have solar pumps in some of our ponds. Almost 360 views nearby. I work full time from home and also do some human rights advocacy and volunteering for people in crisis. My husband runs a factory in Melbourne. My daughter is out most days studying. Would love someone to help maintain gardens,
