I usually choose organic foods for the meals I eat. That's why I'm interested in organic farming. But I think there aren't many organic options in Japan. I heard Australia has more options. Also, I heard that my mother had gone to Australia when she was young, so I wanted to go there too. I chose WWOOF because I thought it would be better to live here than travel. Also, I thought working at an organic farm in Australia would be more educational than working at a Japanese restaurant. I have worked at an organic farm in Japan, and there are many kind people there. I would be happy if I could become friends with people who have a kind heart.

I joined WWOOFING because I always had the best experiences and met great people during volunteer work abroad or couchsurfing. I like to exchange knowledge and experience with other people at my place or places I visit. I won flights to Australia in a photo competition and would love to explore the rural areas while wwoofing for 5 weeks.

We joined wwoof because we enjoy sharing experiences with new people and making connections with each community we encounter. We are looking to enjoy some wwoofing experiences after finishing our 88 days while we look for apartments and jobs in Noosa as the next part of our journey.

I've joined wwoof because I love seeing what real life is like in a country, rather then just as a tourist. I hope to meet some amazing host families that I can help out in exchange for them introducing me to life Australia.

I used to be a horticulturalist, and I worked on an urban children's farm in Melbourne. I got a significant injury which meant I couldn't work in horticulture anymore, but I miss farming! I love working physical jobs and working in nature, so I'm very keen to wwoof during my holidays to experience it again.

I joined WWOOF because, as I mentioned earlier, most of my career will consist of writing code. Before that career starts I would like to gain some experience working outdoors, performing physical labour instead of the mental labour I will be performing when I return home. Apart from the actual work this seems like the perfect opportunity to meet amazing new people in a beautiful environment.

The reason why I want to participate in the WWOOF as a wwoofer is I would like to learn about the organic farming by experiencing farm work. Especially, I want to learn about the differences between agriculture in Japan and the relationship between daily life and agriculture in Australia. Furthermore, I would like to make it an opportunity to get in touch with nature by touching the soil and the grass and feeling the wind and feel relax. And I would like to make new friends in Australia through this stay. In addition to experiencing farm work, I would like to improve my English skills through conversations and daily life with people I met at the WWOOF. Finally, the goal I want to achieve is to enjoy my stay in Australia and enrich my stay by studying and experience organic farming. I want to grow myself through new experiences here.

One of the reasons I’m joining WWOOF is so I can live on the rainbow farm in Byron bay with some friends there, to learn how to work with the land and meet new people. I also am joining so that in the future I can experience WWOOFing in new places and meet new people. I want to gain experience with farming and working with plants. I also love feeling a part of communities and exploring and sharing my inner creativity with others.

We started WWOOF to meet more people and learn farming for the following reasons; -Our thoughts- ①I’d like to learn various knowledge of organic farm and values. The reason we joined WWOOF Australia is that we would like to do farming, gardening, and buidling the house/lodge somewhere in the future after we find the place wehere we want to live. The reason we chose Australia is that we both love Australia very much (We have been to Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns), and it's very good place to learn those things.   ②I’d like to be involved with a variety of people. To be involved in social issues and social good and “be useful to someone” (by volunteering in various places, to face social issues, to be useful to someone, and sometimes to be helped, and to live in a mutual supportive environment)

I am always keen to make new experiences, see new places and meet amazing people! I would love to get a proper farmwork experience, I reckon its the best way to get that experience as well as volunteering is such a great thing to do!

I would love to do my farm work to stay longer in this amazing country. I would also love to learn more about the farm life and how it works. My grandparents had a farm and I loved being there. Australia in general is such a great country for me, because I found amazing friends here and if you just drive a few hours you can be in a part that is completely different, but it is still the same country, which is faszination to me.

We are joining WWoof because we would like to meet people who share similar interests to ours. We are interested not only in seeing new places and traveling, but also in meeting local people. We hope that joining WWOOF will give us those opportunitie, helping small producers, families and people who care about self-production. We would like to learn about new methods of cultivation, organic practices and soil care.

I am looking to fulfill my eighty-eight days of farm work in order to renew my work & holiday visa! I have fallen in love with this country and would love to extend my time here by being able to renew my visa!

Hi my name is mason Marris I am 18 years old from new Zealand and I'm planning to move to Australia within the next few weeks or so. I have worked a few jobs around my small town and have found I enjoy working outside. I have recently decided I want to try working different places/areas and try new things so I'm looking for anyone who's happy to host me in Australia. I am happy to work any hours super chill about it, my goal is to work/stay at a woofer host and eventually try find a paying job somewhere in Australia but im low on money so it may take awhile to get things sorted for example a place to stay that I can afford- so i would really appreciate anyone that's able to help me out.
