I am looking for a WWOOFing experience to learn new skills, be close to the nature, explore the true Australian culture meeting and living with locals.

I have volunteer experience picking vegetables in Japan. From then on, I became interested in working on a farm. I realized that the food that we casually eat is brought to us through the various efforts of the people on the farm, and I was made aware of the importance of food. So next time, I would like to experience a farm in Australia and gain new insights.

Animal welfare and conservation are huge passions of mine and is something I would love to be involved with in some way. Gaining experience and working with others who share my thoughts will be of huge benefit to me. I would like to be more knowledgable about animal welfare and our environment and work hands on with those that help support it.

For a long time, I have been passionate about cooking and eating food, but growing up in suburban America I had a very impersonal relationship with food production. After studying a bit about sustainable agriculture in university, I wanted to better understand and participate in food systems. WWOOF seemed like the perfect opportunity to experience farm life, while also hopefully meeting some amazing people and affordably exploring Australia during my first trip to the cou

I am travelling around Australia and I want to make a contribution, meet new people and learn new things. I am interested in organic and sustainable farming. A good inspiration and learning for the future.

I have always been interested in organic farming i grew up digging in the garden with my dad growing potatoes and vegetables for the garden. I love working outdoors and feeling connected to the ground and nature around me. I would love to continue to learn more about permaculture and organic gardening learning form people who are passionate and interested in what they do. i am taking a break from nursing in Ireland and traveling to Australia and would love to experience organic farming in the southern hemispher.

I love traveling so I quit my job in March. After a long stay in england I'm ready for a nother country and continent. I like to get in touch with other people and learn how they live. I think wwoofing could be the best way for a nice experience in Australia 🙂

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

We wanted to gain insight into great places to visit from locals and meet new people. Wwoofing seems a great oppertunity to get to know new people and learn new skills. Amy and I are interested in trying new things and this would be something new and exciting for us both.

I would like to be part of an amazing adventure. I would like to learn more on agricultural topics. I am also eager to help people i work with and with whom i share the same values and sustainability interest.

I joined because I think it's a good opportunity to experience something different from the work I do in Switzerland. I'm motivated to do some volunteering work, helping and supporting projects. I think also that the experience woofing is something unique for myself brings maybe also a new perspective of seeing and understanding things in the daily life in a different way and I'm sure that the encounters with different people will be so valuable as well.

I’m joining woof to experience new environments and develop my skills while discovering a new pathway for my future. I hope to meet new people, form friendships, challenge myself find peace in new work and play.

I came to Australia to experience new ways of living. I believe that through this community I will be able to learn about many alternative ways of living, especially ways of living more sustainably. Since I was young, I've always wanted to live on a farm as the outdoors hands on living has always appealed to me, it is where I am happiest. Living more sustainably is something everyone needs to do so I plan to learn how to do this for myself and then hopefully go on to help teach others what I have learnt. WWOOFing has now been recommended to me by several people and it is exactly the kind of community I would love to become a part of. I am really excited to learn as much as possible about off grid living, farm work both livestock and crop and the lifestyle that living and working in these places creates.

I want to join woof because I want to discover the Australia and in the same time meet new people and help them. And we want to improve our English too.

What we love most about volunteering is the human experience, meeting new people and sharing our experiences. W e hope to bring some good cheer and leave with a great with a great experience.

Love to work with animals and with the land. Naturally good with machinery, I have worked in a steel yard, I’ve run a chicken farm in NSW as well for 8 months. I love living on the land. I’m looking for some quiet time and just good old hard work on the land. I know this company to be good as I have had a membership in the past, long time ago. As I am 29 now- I first used this site when I was 21.

To contribute to Organic and Biodynamic agriculture and do what I can do to contribute in a meaningful way through using my cooking, marketing and management skills to keep farms viable
