I just arrived in australia from new caledonia where i was living in the bush and was adopted by the locals tribes in Houailou . i'm looking for a farm or a place to stay outside the city so I can take time to do all the paperwork (gettin' a tfn and open a bank account)needed to work in farms . I may be not very fluent for the moment when speaking english but I love to share and learn from others . I think WWOOFin could be a good option 'cause where i'm from whe had a few friend who own their farm and hosted some WWOOFERS and I thought it was a good way to meet the locals for foreigners people and it could help me a lot before I find a work in australia .

To gain experience in biodynamic/organic small scale farming operations without the pressure of full time work. I would like to meet like minded people and join communities that have similar values in sustainable living and believe in local futures.

I did WWOOFing in New Zealand a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. I did house keeping. I think WWOOFing is a good way to learn about every day life in a new country. I am looking for new experiences 😊

After spending lots of time underwater I now want to do some more work on land. I´m very interested to know more about the farming culture and how each step is done from planting seeds to harvesting. Some of my friends told me about their enriching WWOOFing experiences, which encouraged me to sign up here and start to gather my own experiences. Farm work allows people to spend time in nature while doing something meaningful and productive. I would like to use this opportunity to grow as a person, learn new skills and get some inspiration and direction for my further travels.

I joined WWOOF after hearing about the volunteer and travel opportunities across Australia and the world, and the opportunities to trade my time and work in exchange for accommodation and experiences in new places I travel to.

I'm joining WWOOF since it was recommended by a friend of mine who I love dearly! Her advice is always something i dare to follow. Right now I'm located in Queensland where there are a lot of flooded areas from the last time. Although packing fruit and veg or helping with cattle does in the end serve for a bigger cost, it would mean more to me to be doing my 88 days with truly helping people who still experience damage from the floods or bushfires. It just makes it more meaningful to me.
