I joined WWOOF to help people, learn about managing the backyard (I have 2 acres) and be able to work with horses. I am introverted and don't enjoy the pub scene - no I am not looking for a relationship - but am a easy going person who enjoys a laugh. Reading that sounds horrible so I please I apologise (you meet me and hopefully you will agree)

I want to experience more places around the world and learn more about sustainable farming globally. I tried wwoofing for the first time in Taiwan and had a wonderful experience. I am moving to Tasmania and looking for full time work in the hospitality industry but I want to try WWOOFing for a few weeks/months when I first arrive.

To know Australia better, to meet like-minded people, to put to practice a PDC and organic farming experience I have. I am so impressed by the beauty of the land that I am looking forward to engaging with people that tend to it and protect it.

This year in April and May I stayed on a farm in Norway after I finally finished my bachelor and I gained a lot out of it not only learning interesting new methods in organic farming like Agroforestry but also living in a community and experiencing a new connecting with food. I would love to experience living with another community and learning new things here in Australia too.

I joined WWOOF so that I could connect with other people from different cultures and learn from them in different areas of life. Additionally, I joined so I could share what I have learn from my time on this planet.

I want to experience organic agriculture in other parts of the world and explore aspects of farming that I am unfamiliar with, as well as meet new and passionate people!

I joined WWOOF because I am very interested in having a new kind of experience and learning about (ecological) farming. I believe it would also be an amazing way to learn about local life in Australia. I enjoy working outside and love all kinds of animals!

We have been travelling in our van and now we want to stay in the same area for a little while. We haven't had the chance to meet many people so that's what we're looking for and as we said above we want to learn new skills and knowledge.

Well, as I said before, I did it the first time I came to Australia and I had a very good time. Love to get to know the locals, different ways of life. It's all about new experiences and learning new things.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I hope to learn as much as possible about organic farming while traveling around Australia and hope to see as much as possible of this beautiful country. I am a qualified soil biologist and I believe my knowledge can be very useful to organic farmers but I still have plenty to learn about running a farm. I also hope to meet new friends and make connections in the agricultural world.

I would like to get to know Australian life and meet new people. I‘m interested in farm work and love animals. I‘m looking forward to having this experience.

I joined WWOOF because I would love to learn about sustainable farming. I would also like to meet new people and learn about their journey in sustainable farming. I would like to also experience farming life and also to care for farm animals. I hope to have a new understanding and appreciation about farming and hope to gain some real life experience in implementing sustainability in everyday life.

It all started from my grandma. She had her own little vegitable garden. She always gave fresh and beautiful vege and that is one of reason I'm grew up. She also has many relative and friends in country side. In each season they send fresh fruit, rice or vegetable to her and grandma always share with my family. Almost food were made in their own garden or made by local farmer. Their are taste really delicious. I did'nt even imagine how they made. After many years later while I had been studying in cooking school. I've been interesting about how food was producted. I read article and watched documentary about farmer's production circumstance. I knew huge amount of foods have been waste or can't shipping because issue of size, colors or market price. Until that time I had never wondered how hard to take care of food and how much farmers earn their income. One day I found convenience store which sells fresh veg. The manager said he produced the place and oppurtunity for local farmers to provide their produce. So they and customer can know each other and thoughts. I really admire to their attempt and how high quality. I had experience of rice planting just once but other farm work is none even picking. I wish I could learn how farmers passionate of products food and hardest thing.

I want to get to know Australia from a different side, meet new people and improve my English skills and get to know the Australien culture and nature more

Work hard for money is sadly a part of my journey but hopefully the other part will be learning a lot of valuable knowledge about suistainability, nature, ecology from nice and wise people. I'm sure it will!

I am going to learn about essential oils from September this year. Essential oils are a gift from nature, and I thought that I should learn about nature, the root of essential oils. I want to learn about the coexistence of nature and humans, and how to live a sustainable life.

I joined WWOOF because I’m passionate about sustainability and activism and seeking international educational experiences. For the new few months, I will be WWOOFing with my high school friend Rachel. After being friends for more than half a decade and both graduating college within the past year, we're eager to travel, explore, and meet new people. We’ve been looking forward to visiting Australia, due to the vibrant art scene as well as accessible nature and wildlife. We’re excited about the opportunity to connect on a local level to the places that we visit, as we see this travel period as time for meaningful education rooted in hands-on participation. The purpose of WWOOF well-matches our goals as it provides us with a platform to find like-minded people across the globe who we can visit and learn from. We hope to leave our WWOOF stays with a better understanding of ourselves, an appreciation for the place we explored, and a broadened worldview.

I am interested in organic wine farm. Because In Japan, organic wine is getting popular so I would like to learn more about organic wine. In addition, they try to start making wine in my hometown. So I would like to bring back these kinds of knowledge to my hometown.
