It’s important to take care of the Earth! I love learning new concepts and things with a good work ethic. I like to meet new people. At the moment, I don't speak English well. So it’s a great opportunity for me to improve it and enjoy it without pressure.

We are a family owned & operated cattle station in remote, outback WA. Located in the Gascoyne region (about 250km from Meekatharra), on just shy of 1 million acres. With the Gascoyne River the heart of the property, there is so much beautiful country to explore. Join us and help out by feeding animals, some gardening, watering lawns, cooking & maybe help with some stock work. We are also currently in the process of preparing for station stay business, so there would be the odd job like painting and renovating to be done. Our cattle are grazed on natural rangelands and are chemical free. We as a family like to be as self sufficient and enjoy sharing our skills with others.

I decided to join WWOOF because I thought it would be a great opportunity to work on farms, take care of animals, connect with nature, and learn more. I found out about WWOOF while looking for a farm to get my second visa. I have always loved nature and animals and have had the chance to be around them since I was a child. I was interested in learning more about it in a more specialized way, so I thought this would be a great opportunity.

Looking for experience and knowledge, hopefully meeting new interesting people along the way. Have previously worked at a farm via wwoof in the South of France in 2015. Did some fruit picking, cooking and gardening along with some light construction work. Enjoyed my time with friends, and I think there’s no better place to try the same than Australia.

We've been part of WWOOF since 1993 when we had our first French WWOOFer. I've done some WWOOFing myself overseas and loved the experience. We're a happy family, settled in the Warrumbungle Mountain, a 50,000 hectare island refuge in the middle of farming & grazing land. Our 1036ha property is nestled into the south side of the Warrumbungle mountains surrounded on 3 sides by National Park with superb views of Mt Terrace, Mt Exmouth, the Bluff, Bluff Pyramid, Tonduron Spire & Mt Naman. There are good bushwalking tracks with plenty of wildlife & many species of trees & birds (Wedge-tail Eagle & rare Turquoise Parrot). We live in a historical pioneer homestead built in 1882 and have a permaculture garden & orchard, sheep (shearing in June, crutching in Dec), horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, turkeys & yabbies. Volunteering includes building, gardening, fencing, firewood & mustering. Accommodation in house, hut or BYO with mixed meals. We welcome children b.a. We sing songs and have plenty of laughs so bring along your talent & musical instruments! Prefer WWOOFers to call instead of email. Hope to hear from you soon.

We have a large suburban block in a beautiful seaside area adjacent to Park Beach, a popular surf Beach. We grow our own vegetables, make compost, mulch and biochar and are constantly developing our gardens. We also have an extensive, primarily native, garden which needs tending from time to time. We have recently commenced landscaping a new area having large rock walls built.

A few km's from Mt Barker, just below the beautiful Mt Barker summit, we run a mixed Bio-dynamic farm where our focus is on growing and making high quality, artisan wine and enjoying growing and making our own food. Additionally, we make cider, bread, preserves and honey.  We have an extensive commercial vegetable garden, olive grove, small home orchard and revegetation areas. We run cattle, sheep, chickens, guinea fowl and keep bees. Volunteering on our family farm includes picking, planting, weeding, animal husbandry and seasonal vineyard work.  Great team experience plus some solo tasks. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation.  Shared day time meals, mixed healthy diet. Close to Mt Barker town centre and 25 minutes from Adelaide CBD.

This is our second caravan trip, our first being in 2011, traveling and WWOOFF-ing with a 6- and a 1.5-year-old for 9 months. During that time, we enjoyed the hospitality of 3 hosting families and the opportunity to spend time with and learn from them. Finding ourselves in areas we hadn’t visited before, and doing things we had never done. We have subscribed to WWOOFF as we welcome the opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and doing whatever is most helpful.

I want to get a perspective from different parts of the world, along with culinary experience from a wide range of places. I feel that hands on experience is much more important than textbook learning. I also hope to gain a better understanding of the places that the ingredients I cook with come from.

After I finished University, I wanted to take some time away to experience something different. I wanted to experience new places and cultures and spend some time outdoors volunteering. Wwoofing is a great way to do this. I enjoy spending time in nature and learning new things and I am fit and strong. I have spent much of the last 9 months wwoofing in a variety of different countries such as  Germany, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand and now Australia. It had been a really valuable and amazing experience.

We live on an urban block 200 meters to the beach in a small seaside village on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. We grow veggies and some fruit trees, treat everything that comes into our house as a precious resource for reuse. We have several composts and a worm farm. A bus to town goes by our door for transport or you can use our bikes. I love to cook (primarily from the garden). We have a queen sized bedroom, private living space and large bathroom available for WWOOFers.

We are called Ozparagus and produce green asparagus and now the first in Carnarvon white asparagus. We also grow passionfruit and have just planted tree Topia. Around Tree Topia we are currently fencing the area off to make a beautiful place to come sit maybe see some sculptures and chickens with ducks swimming in the pond going in.  Hoping for some sheep and goats to help chickens ducks keep the weeds down. Chickens run around free and put away at night for safety atm in the passionfruit old yards. You will experience many different cultures on the farm with backpackers from around the world. A family business with the grandparents, ourselves and the children living here. Of course, we have our resident Dog buster who is extremely friendly and will try to convince you he is hungry always. See his Instagram story on our page. Puss Puss is also here now she does pest control and recently gave birth to some kittens with a couple more staying on you will meet them when you come.  Currently Backpackers and woofers taking care of them and have named them Gin and Tonic  lol. We are slowly getting the farm to be very bio diverse with growing mushrooms and many more varieties of vegetables on the list in the next few months.  with some trials going on now successfully growing and canning beetroot and making a relish. Diversity is key to staying afloat and to have our own produce feeding us all here with the extra for the tourists when they come on the Fruit loop next year And of course, now we have thousands of new babies to care for with the bees arriving for the Everybee Everybody.  First harvest soon yay.  Also, we'd like to make the most of all the products so diving into making salves marinades and more As well as starting our own solider fly set up to produce chicken feed and nourishment for our soil. We love the idea of wwoofers to meet other cultures and teach you what we know. We are very excited with the diversity of wwoofers coming to join our community and now families to.  We can accommodate up to 17 people on the plantation so the calendar would not reflect true availability just send us a message and CJ can tell you how many beds are available.   Look forward to meeting you all. If you want any more information, then feel free to contact us here.  Alot more information and stories on Instagram and the Webpage.  With a Blog in the pipeline (when time off farm can happen) now as many woofer stories and their own wee adventures here need to be told nicknaming the plantation the love plantation like love boat for land.  Quite a few connections made and many a great night had with everyone on farm.  It's like travelling the world again for us without having to leave the verandah. A place we design and discuss many an idea for the future and we really want woofers to leave their mark. Like Taura planted the garlic I'm about to use and she will get to enjoy it as well.   We very much look forward to meeting you all CJ and Markham

Our 250 acre farm has 80a of rainforest & waterfalls bordered by Topaz NP in spectacular Atherton Tablelands, with much to explore. We are producers of Certified Organic Ginger, and  Cattle. I brew  Ginger Wine.  I have have some re-forestation and ecobuilding  projects (trying to use materials from the farm)  in the pipe line. Activities  tend to be varied so visitors can learn new skills.  Ginger work involves general gardening tasks , weeding, and harvesting.  Other tasks may involve general farm work of fencing and construction. I try to have varied work so people can learn and enjoy more.  A flexible 20 hours a week so visitors can take advantage of the beautiful environment. Our home with expansive views has two private bedrooms. I have WWOOFed in Sth America & am interested in sustainable agriculture, brewing bio-fertiliser and wine. We require capable, mature WWOOFers with genuine interest.

I joined WWOOF because I’m eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming and learn about life on a farm. I’ve always enjoyed taking on new challenges, and working on a farm seems like the perfect opportunity to learn practical skills that I haven’t explored before.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
