I'm looking for a place to stay with my 2 cats for a semi permanent stay at least a month hopefully. I'm happy to work Friday Saturday Sunday as I will be working in Canberra during the week. I have a tent trailer to stay in so I won't need room and I'm happy to supply my own food but we can work out the details.

I really want to learn more about organic farming, by actually participating/helping, and not just reading about it. I love working with, and caring for animals, but I’m also interested farming and agriculture. I love to meet new people all around the world and want to gather working experiences.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I’ve always wanted to learn more about living a sustainable life and develop some useful skills to support making this a reality. I’m keen to meet others and travel and wwoofing sounds perfect for me.

I joined WWOOF because I thought it would be a perfect chance to experience more of Australia, both culture and country! It gives me the opportunity to learn a lot of new things, meet new people, gain new skills and of course unforgettable memories!!! I hope to achieve the feeling of mastering something new, knowledge on new things and contribute to something wholesome while having the best times!

My partner and I are looking for a more immersive travel/ work opportunity. We feel lucky to have this time to see the world, and feel that WWOOFing would be a valuable way to spend a portion of it.

The aim is to learn about the culture and life in other countries through experience. I also want to experience agriculture and dairy farming, which I am interested in. My English is not very good, so I want to learn.

I join WWOOF because I want to discover a new way of life. I want to spend more time outside and use my hands. Also, I've never been to Australia and I want to see what it's like. I can't wait to try something new.

WWOOF is a good form to volunteer for someone but your 88 days count. On the other side you have the chance to do jobs, you normally wouldn’t get because of less experience. WWOOF gives you the chance to also get chance to get more experience, so that you can get paid one day.

I have a deep rooted love of nature that inspires me to not only get closer with the earth, but also find ways to sustain and protect it. I have worked at a variety of organic farms and farmers markets over the years and found that feeding my community is a passion of mine. I have loved being able to connect more closely with where my food comes from. I have learned over time too, that the ways in which we farm can directly impact the climate crisis. I want to do what I can to learn more sustainable practices and ways to care for the earth.

I'm looking to learn more about organic farming in Australia as part of my holiday, as well as meet new people and get to know the country more through working in the field! In my profession I concentrate on the agricultural transition in the Nederlands and I'm very interested in the challenges of farming in Australia - how does the environment impact the farming practices, like soil types, rain and droughts, but also climate change and possibility of bush fires?

I joined WWOOF to experience life in the Australian countryside, especially after spending three months in the bustling eastern suburbs of Sydney. My aim is to learn more about rural Australian life, engage closely with the local fauna and animals, and become an integral part of a farming community. This move represents a shift from urban living to a deeper connection with nature and sustainable practices, aligning with my interests in agriculture and the outdoors.

i join wwoof because i want to discover the world and i think the best way is by meeting peaple who live in other countries. so then they can show me their culture and the way of living. i’m really motivated to help them work in the farm, learn how they do things, how they cook,… im motivated to help them cooking, cleaning the house, work at the fam

I joined WWOOF because I would love to experience country life, especially in a country like Australia. I also like to be among the locals and experience the real Australian culture. I love nature very much and to be outside all day in nature seems really nice. I also find it a nice way to meet people from all different countries. In hostels this is more difficult because everyone comes and goes and I think it is nice on a farm where you can really get to know people and work together. I really like working together and meeting people who also love nature. I also like the fact that WWOOF teaches you things about organic farming because in this way you are working on the future. And you can learn new skills. I think it would be great to work for WWOOF.

I'm doing WWOOF because I think it's a better way to get to know the local people and culture in Australia. WWOOF is a good option for me because I'm willing to work and I want to visit the area a few times.
