Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
I have never been satisfied with the idea of a capitalist lifestyle, I strongly beleve my future lies in living closer to the earth, soil, plants, and roots; aliging with the natural cycals such as the seasons, and coursing as little impact on the landscape as possible. In the future I hope to build a creative space where people can learn about sustainable living, develop healthy natural habits and change peoples prospective on this way of life. I have been vegan for seven years within this time I have unearthed a sustainable and ethical lifestyle that I'm passionate to continue developing. I beleve the next step for me is to learn about permaculture and grow a broader practical understanding living off the land and working with natural materials. Now that the world has returned to pre-pandemic regulations this is the perfect time and opertunity to put what I have learnt and research into practice.

I love soil, plants, fresh food, wind and stars. And I like to meet people who have similar tastes. My Wwoofing in Italy became very important experience for me. I met many attractive people and they changed me a lot. I want to go to countrysides, feel local and live slow life. I want to get clues and opportunities for what I will do for the next.

I joined wwoof as a way of travelling around easily. I like travelling & finding a way to help out while getting either food or accommodation sorted helps a lot. It is also a very good way to gain different experiences working with different people in different places. My friends reccommended it to me so I thought why not.

My diet is vegetable-based. I am also interested in eating habits to maintain my health, so I would like to learn agriculture. Also I love nature. I value meeting people and would like to get a sense of accomplishment by helping hosts and share fun times with them. I had been studying English for exams, but I was worried that I would not be able to speak English well in the future. So I decided to take the opportunity to live abroad. I want to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds and broaden my horizons.

In Japan, my life was really busy and I couldn't feel nature in my life. So, I would like to stay in nature and learn the way of living. Also, I'm an animal lover, so I'm excited to live with animals.

I am excited to participate in Woofing because I want to immerse myself in a new culture and environment. I have always dreamed of visiting Australia and experiencing its unique way of life, and Woofing presents the perfect opportunity for me to do just that. Additionally, I see Woofing as an excellent chance to improve my English language skills by conversing with native speakers and learning new vocabulary. Furthermore, I am looking forward to meeting new people and expanding my social circle. I believe that Woofing will help me step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself in new ways. By working alongside locals and engaging in cultural activities, I hope to gain a better understanding of Australian life and values. Overall, I see Woofing as an adventure that will allow me to grow both personally and professionally. I am eager to take on new challenges and embrace all that this experience has to offer.

I joined WWOOF, because for me it is more about the experience than the money. The reason I came to Australia is that I want to connect with people from a different cultural background and learn about their traditions, lifestyle, habits and cuisine. This is why I acquired a job in an industry that is not usual for backpackers and enjoy hobbys where I get to meet the locals. As an engineer from a central European city, I think there is a lot to learn for me from WWOOFing opportunities but maybe I can also teach one thing or another about my culture.

We wanted to choose the WWOOF program to be able to learn new things, experience moments of local life, visit a new country and be able to help. Indeed living with a host and working to be able to visit a country seems to me to be a plus to better understand the customs and form our character. In addition we have received a lot of positive feedback about this program. We are therefore delighted at the idea of being able to carry out this experience in our turn

Looking for a place to live and learn. I have a life long passion for the environment and a socialist philosophy which means as long as I can find somewhere I can feel a sense of belonging, then contributing to making a small corner of the world a better place is all the reward I need.

To make new connections with hosts and fellow WWOOFers. I love meeting positive people with good energy. I'd like to spend more time in nature reconnecting with the land and focus more on my health. I’m interested in learning about sustainability and how our food is produced. I grew a few herbs at home (basil, mint, parsley, oregano, chives) and would like to learn the intricacies of farming. After spending the past year traveling I'm looking forward to doing some hard work.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
