The reason why I participated in WWOOF this time is because I want to have various memorable experiences in Australia. I am looking forward to meeting the hosts. In addition, through WWOOF, I would like to improve my English speaking skills.

WWOOF offers me the oppotunity to get quickly in touch with the australian population and their way of life. I don't know much about farms but I am very keen on their running. I consider learning new things as an important way to grow and that is why I think WWOOF is a good challenge for me. Moreover it gives me the opportunity to travel throughout Australia and to get to know other travellers.

We’d like to spend time away from the UK for more than just a ‘holiday’. We’d like to feel embedded in a community and able to get to know people around us. We love the idea of spending time outdoors and being active, and we’d like to find something that stimulates the kids and exposes them to skills and experiences they wouldn’t get otherwise. We try to live sustainably and care about the environment, and WWOOFing offers an opportunity to be more connected to the these values.

We love to meet new people and to learn new things. We like to experience Australia the best way, and we think this is a great way to do it. We like to work for one-two weeks, and we arrive in Sydney at 14th of March and leaving 13th of April. We would prefer to work 4 hours a day, but can be flexible to work more some days and less other days. Work is no problem, we are used to it and will do our best effort in making it worth your time under the working hours. That said it´s important for us that we also get time to do small trips, have time to explore the area around and get some time outside working hours. Food: It`s imortant for us to eat proper meals everyday. Sofie eats vegetarian food. Andreas eats everything, and a bit more as a man. We really hope you would invite us to help out.

I needed to start somewhere with getting working experience in Australia. Since I'm not short on money right now, I don't really need payment yet, but to find myself a well paid farm job someday, I figured some working experience and contacts to other people (while improving my spoken English and grammar) wouldn't hurt. So I stumbled over an article about "how to get a job in Australia" where WWOOF was mentioned and since it's pretty much everything I need right now, and sounds fun, I wanted to give it a try.

I'm joining WWOOF because I love travelling and meeting new people and, even though I don't need to do any farm days for my visa anymore, I still love working outdoors and learning new skills.

I love meeting and connecting with new people as well as gardening, farming, the outdoors, and spending time in nature. I am interested in building community and connection in my time abroad, as well as connecting with the physical earth I stand upon. Additionally, as our general society moves towards a capitalist function, I am interested in engaging in exchanges that don't focus on monetary value as I think other types of trade offer a more meaningful and thoughtful exchange. For all of these reasons, I am deeply interested in WWOOF and am delighted to join.

Because as young adults born and raised in the Capital of Europe (Brussels), we would like to experience a slower pace of life, less stressfull and closer to nature. We think that working on organic farms can bring us that peace and give us the possiblity to be autonomous in the way we live 🙂

I’ve long been passionate about living sustainably and eating organic. During my current break from work I have started some modest vegetable gardening in my backyard and loved it! I want to keep learning more about organic gardening, particularly things like composting, worm farming and how to control pests. I believe that working on a WWOOFin farm, amongst experienced gardeners/farmers, will be inspiring and an invaluable place to learn new skills. I’ve been looking to challenge myself and WWOOFin provides the opportunity to travel somewhere new, but with a purpose!

Someone told me about this organisation and i was searching for a way to get my 88days. But i wanted to stay in the Byron area because it’s pretty amazing around here. So someone came up with this and i got lucky to find a place next Byron and complete the 88days with volunteer work, which is really nice. I want to do more volunteer work in the future, but probably not in Australia, cause it’s a really rich country. I’d prefer to do it somewhere else, but yeah, i’ll see what’s gonna happen!

I love meeting people my age who are down for adventures. When I was wwoofing in Hawaii I had established a great community of young people who I could do alot with and it was so great! I am also looking to travel Australia and earn some money but I thought Wwoofing would be a good place to start as it includes accomidation.

I am completely in agreement with the WWOOFING project that I find great, I adhere to it completely. I am interested in ecology in all its forms. I have some experience in this field and some projects around this theme, so to do Wwoofing here, during my WHV would be a great opportunity.
