It is because I am interested insustainable agriculture, especially organic farming. I have heard that organic farmimng is green for the environment but has disadvantages such as cost and workforce. Therefore, I would like to find out solutions to spread this eco-agriculture throughout the world, by working in a real farm and interacting farmers.

As the global population is projected to reach 10 billion by 2050, coupled with climate change issues, the world is currently facing serious food sustainability and security challenges. As a food science and technology enthusiast, I am aware that Australia is focused on food sustainability, security and circular economy. Hence, I decided to embark on a working holiday in Australia to learn from the local farmers about what they are currently doing to protect and preserve the farmlands of our world.

Some friends joinded Wwoof in France years ago and they like it pretty much, . As a solo-traveller I think Wwoof could be a good and educational experience. I would love to help hosts and their property and learning new knowledge.

I’ve just arrived in Australia and I thought, wwooofing is great to meet new people and pick up some new skills along the way. I‘d like to learn how to be self sustained. Saving on food and accommodations also plays into it. But I’m also fascinated by the idea of meeting people, I‘d probably never meet otherwise.

I joined WWOOF because I’m passionate about sustainability and activism and seeking international educational experiences. For the new few months, I will be WWOOFing with my high school friend Mica (profile link here). After being friends for more than half a decade and both graduating college within the past year, we're eager to travel, explore, and meet new people. We’ve been looking forward to visiting Australia, due to the vibrant art scene as well as accessible nature and wildlife. We’re excited about the opportunity to connect on a local level to the places that we visit, as we see this travel period as time for meaningful education rooted in hands-on participation. The purpose of WWOOF well-matches our goals as it provides us with a platform to find like-minded people across the globe who we can visit and learn from. We hope to leave our WWOOF stays with a better understanding of ourselves, an appreciation for the place we explored, and a broadened world view.

I want to have an experience that is not normally possible and help the world through volunteer work. And by living with my family, I wanted to get closer and have another family.

To join experience of community, meet new people and give my experience and knowledge i really see helping each other and show good parts such as knowledge, experience life stories of us can make a better world im living in australia for 7 months mostly working and traveling, i like to settle in places to feel the area and live the local culture.

Traveling is about more than just sightseeing; it's a journey of learning. Helping others and connecting with locals allow us to understand different cultures deeply. Genuine friendships formed during these experiences transcend borders and enrich our lives. We hope to learn many useful things on the farms to take home with us.

I have operated machinery on large cereal and grain farms during harvest and recently obtained my HR truck license. I also am competent on most if not all tractors and can operate forklifts, jcb telehandlers and have my own powertools I am looking to bring my experience into a more peaceful smaller farm until I decide on my next which currently is searching for work in the area in hospitality and tourism after experiencing a nice wwoof farm.

I joined WWOOF because I heard about the experience of doing farm work in Australia from a friend, about taking care of the sheep, the life in a very small town and experiencing the great outdoors. I’ve always loved animals and wanted to live in the countryside, but after hearing about their story, I’ve dreamed about working or volunteering in Australia specifically ever since. By WWOOFing, I hope to learn what it’s like to do farm work while taking a break from office work. I also wish to provide help to farms needing a hand.

I aim to join WWOOF to learn about the Australian agriculture and enhance my skills. The opportunity to work in Australia not only allows for the exchange of agricultural knowledge but also provides a chance to immerse myself in new people and cultures. I like to work in a tram and look forward to not only contributing my skills but also learning from others and collectively promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

We want to discover Australia through the Woofing because we living in agriculture since our youngest age. we want to discover a new culture, another way of life and new person through this experience. We like to learn, share and live new experiences. We think the wwoofing it's a good way to do that

I would like to travel abroad to explore and make new friends. My father is a farmer, and I'm also interested in learning about how farming is done in different places.

Especially at the beginning I would like to arrive in Australia and get a little orientation about what it is like to live there and also get a little tips from the people who have lived there all their lives. I think WWOOFing is the perfect way to start, especially because you're pretty shy and reserved at the beginning and you're in a new country and alone for the first time. That's why I'm glad that there are many people who help these people to have more confidence step by step and to get out of themselves more and more. Because of all these things, I decided to do WWOOFing myself, especially at the beginning.

As a gardener/landscaper I wish to learn more about agriculture and plants in general. Also aspiring to be a cook I feel that such work is key to the culinary industry.

I would love to experience the farm life in Australia and learn all the things around organic farms. I also would love to get to know people from Australia as I always love to learn more about different cultures. I would love to learn more about gardening and growing own fruits and vegetables. I would love to get some experience with horses again but I am open to any kind of animal! Otherwise I am open to any kind of work. I love spending time outside in the nature and I enjoy to be around animals and nature. I grew up in a very small village with a lot of nature around so I am very used to it and loving it. From friends I met during travelling in Australia I heard a lot of good things about the WWOOF Australia so I am very looking forward to trying it!
