I'm passionate about sustainable design practices and really want to learn more about permaculture and self-sufficiency. I wanted to travel around Australia, and thought WWOOFing would be a good way to do it economically while learning new skills and getting to be immersed in nature. I hope to learn more about gardening, so one day I could set up a community garden in my own city.

My dream is to visit Australia. I had hoped to apply for a working visa a few years ago, but I turned 30 just as covid shut down borders. I unfortunately aged out of applying before visas were possible again.   I want to share cooking and food or possibly learn more farming and building skills. I would love an opportunity with food, winemaking or fermentation, but I am also happy with any opportunity!   I want to be able to see all the beautiful places in Australia, not just the touristy side.

I decided to join WWOOF because I am seeking an experience and a bit fun. By immersing myself in WWOOFing, I aim to have an adventure filled with laughter, discovery, and personal growth. I am eager to meet kind-hearted individuals, forge lasting friendships, and explore the beauty of new places. WWOOFing offers me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and broaden my horizons. I am excited to engage in hands-on work on farms, connect with nature, and gain practical skills in animal care, organic farming, and sustainable living practices. Beyond the invaluable learning experiences, I am eager to foster meaningful connections with hosts and fellow volunteers. The prospect of exchanging stories, cultural insights, and different perspectives fills me with anticipation. In joining WWOOF, I hope to make a positive impact in the communities I visit and contribute my skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to the host organizations. I aspire to leave each place with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that I have played a part in supporting sustainable practices and fostering a love for nature and animals. Thank you for considering me as a WWOOF volunteer. I am genuinely excited to embark on this journey, create unforgettable experiences, and contribute to the meaningful work of the WWOOF community.

Interested in food self-sufficiency, permaculture and discovering different life-styles, it is time to learn and apply knowledge about land work (ex : fields, grow of veggetables/fruits, constructions, etc). Therefore, we can develop skills to start a futur project where our lifestyle will match our values. It is also an occasion to meet new people and share about values and great moments. By the same time, it is an occasion to improve our English.

I am currently studying abroad in Australia and looking for a farm stay experience to learn more about ranch/farm management, as well as gain experience working with livestock and larger animals. After I graduate from college I would like to apply to Physical Therapy school, however, I've also been very interested in working with animals. WWOOF seems like a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with horses and livestock which would be otherwise hard to acquire.

We're excited to learn more about caring for farms, growing our own food, raising animals, and meeting folks from all walks of life. Once we get back home later in August, we're planning to create a veg and greens garden in our Sarasota, FL backyard and we're hoping to learn how to use our space consciously and effectively. Our 5 year dream is to buy acreage, create our own A-frame home from scratch, and create a tiny house village as a space for others to come to. We want to host WWOOFers, teach yoga, share skills, and make a space in nature for people to come and find peace from horns and fumes. We're coming with open hearts and open minds, and will offer our best energy in exchange for a chance to work shoulder to shoulder with you, and learn all that we can. Namaste!

I have already travelled New Zealand in the past 6 months, where I also stayed on multiple wwoof farms. Without any exeptions, I only made good experiences. The people were so lovely and welcomed me on their beautiful properties and farms. I did a lot of gardening and landscaping, as well as painting and feeding animals. I love meeting new people, spending time with them and learning about their cultures and lives 🤗

I would like to get to know the country and the people before my trip through Australia and do something meaningful at the same time. After my trip through Indonesia I would like to start working again and if possible have enough free time on the side. I used to help my grandparents on the farm and love working outside.

I have never been satisfied with the idea of a capitalist lifestyle, I strongly beleve my future lies in living closer to the earth, soil, plants, and roots; aliging with the natural cycals such as the seasons, and coursing as little impact on the landscape as possible. In the future I hope to build a creative space where people can learn about sustainable living, develop healthy natural habits and change peoples prospective on this way of life. I have been vegan for seven years within this time I have unearthed a sustainable and ethical lifestyle that I'm passionate to continue developing. I beleve the next step for me is to learn about permaculture and grow a broader practical understanding living off the land and working with natural materials. Now that the world has returned to pre-pandemic regulations this is the perfect time and opertunity to put what I have learnt and research into practice.

I love soil, plants, fresh food, wind and stars. And I like to meet people who have similar tastes. My Wwoofing in Italy became very important experience for me. I met many attractive people and they changed me a lot. I want to go to countrysides, feel local and live slow life. I want to get clues and opportunities for what I will do for the next.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
