I love helping out and dislike the idea of money. I try to avoid it wherever I can. I believe that kindness and love are far more valuable and want to prioritize collaborating, meeting new people, and making friends. Wwoofing has been such a great experience so I hope to continue. Maybe I'll even get over my fear of bugs a little more too. 🙂

I signed up for WWOOF because I would like to work during my trip and not only get to know Australia as a tourist/traveller but also to work and get in touch with Australians. In addition, I hope to take valuable experiences home with me at the end of my trip. I am sure that I will be able to use this again at some point in the future.

I have been a wooffer many times before and am looking for a longer term work/trade agreement that will allow me to continue my evening work in Launceston and take on duties of gardening/homestead maintenance during the days. I have an interest in gardening but also harvesting, preparing foods/homemaking and communal living duties. I have experience in helping with building projects, handling many different jobs effectively, bookkeeping/ Admin work and childcare. I hope to find a place to help balance a community feeling in my life while accustoming to nature and it’s glory.

I´ve joined WWOOF for my work & travel. I would like to dip in to your farm life and experience your culture. At the same time I would like to help you and your family with the everyday task. I spent 3 weeks on a farm about 4 years ago and there I helped them with looking after their animals. I had a lot of fun and I love animals and working with them.

I always like to try new things and learn new skills as well as meet new people. I hope to find a nice place to stay for a bit and help out with whatever is needed. I'm currently planning to do a diet and looking for a place where I can make most of the time.

For us Wwoofing is the best way to meet people and especially to really experience the Aussie way of life! We like this philosophy of mutual assistance. We would like to be useful as we learn new activities, very far from the ones we're accustomed to in France.

I learnt about WWOOF from a university lecturer who wwoofed across Europe. I am currently living out of my car whilst travelling up the East Coast and WWOOF seems to be a fantastic way to learn about farms, meet cool people and save some money while traveling.

I would like to experience the natural form of work eliminating the idea money. To be rewarded with survival elements of food, water and shelter should enrich and sooth anyone's mind that money is not everything or essential.

I joined WWOOF because it provides travelers like myself an opportunity to become interconnected in the Australian community. I think this experience will teach me new skills, help me meet new people and give me a chance to see what Australia has to offer!

I first heard about WWOOF from my younger brother, who is also about to start a 6-month work and travel trip to Canada. I like the concept of helping on small farms and being able to build personal relationships. Also, this is a very good way to get to know the culture of Australia, by not spending your time in a hotel, but with an Australian family.

I am genuinely enthusiastic about immersing myself in the Australian culture and exploring its diverse landscapes. WWOOF provides a unique opportunity to combine my passion for sustainable farming practices with my desire to experience a different way of life. By participating in WWOOF, I hope to gain hands-on experience in organic farming techniques, learn about Australia's rich agricultural traditions, and contribute my skills to the local community. Additionally, I believe this experience will foster cross-cultural understanding and allow me to forge meaningful connections with fellow WWOOF hosts and volunteers from around the world. Overall, WWOOF represents an incredible chance for personal growth, environmental stewardship, and cultural exchange, which aligns perfectly with my aspirations.

I am looking for a productive way to spend my gap year, incorporating volunteering, travel, new skills and new friends. I have worked in our backyard garden with my parents for many years now, and would love to learn some skills on a farm that I could bring back home.

I believe that meeting the people of the place helps me understand cultures better but also while I travel I want to be doing things and giving back. I am excited to be meeting new people and hopefully some will become friends . I believe we need to treat soil and water with respect, as well as each other.

I have always admired the Australian way of life. What kind of food they eat and how they live. I also wanted to try things that I could only experience in Australia.

like I said I have already done some work exchanges, through workaway in Italy and France which I enjoyed; I love meeting new people and just talking about life. In Italy I lived with 2 families and was an aupair to their children. In France I worked in Lyon (the best city on France sorry Parisians) at a chateau. I did lots of different jobs there like gardening, cleaning, and greating and welcoming guests. These experiences made me a lot more autonomous and mature and also helped my communication skills, with cultural exchanges there is sometimes little disagreements so it's important to have strong communication skills so you can work out any problems. I like travelling slowly when I go to a country and really setting up roots in places and getting to know people really well. `then you can learn a lot more about the way of life in that country through conversations and observing people. wwoofing in Australia seems likea dream because you get to work in some of the most beautiful places in the world

I decided to join WWOOF because I want learn how to grow my own food and take care of animals. Along with this, I see regenerative agriculture as one of the keys to solving the climate crisis and I want to learn about different farming techniques that benefit the earth. I hope to achieve skills that allow me to live self-sufficiently and eat food as fresh as possible. I also hope to form new relationships with my hosts and the local community that I will be part of.

To be able to learn about opportunities in Queensland primarily. I am currently in Queensland. I believe the WWOF system will enable me see areas of Queensland where I may be able to create a new home. I haven't travelled around Australia very much so I feel this will be a very good way to do it and keep myself busy learning new things too.

To give my daughterworking opportunities without committing  to a job just yet we also want to do the harvest trail when she finishes high school and having some practical skills would be helpful
