Working on a farm would be a great opportunity for me to learn something new whilst spending lots of time outdoors, which sounds like the perfect combination to me! It would also be a big bonus if I can make some great friends along the way. Sharing stories and connecting with people from completely different cultures and backgrounds is something I cherish a lot.

I joined WWOOF because, as of 8/1/24, I flew one way into Hobart on a whim with absolutely no idea where or what I’d get up to, nor have I been to Tasmania or know anyone here… I’m leaving this experience to fate with some trust in the process… WWOOF would be a great way to meet and help like-minded people. Nonetheless, I look forward to meeting you and lending my assistance!

I have known WWOOF for a while now, and I have been wanting to volunteer in one of many farms around the world. Inspired by a sustainable farm in Yogyakarta, the city where I live back home in Indonesia, where they have this beautiful place with animals and crops, I really want to know more about things such as sustainable living, permaculture, or growing our own food. While I am trying to make the most of my time while I am here in Australia, I would also love to listen to stories from you and the way you are living your life. It would be exciting and meaningful experience to know what it’s like to have a farm life, hoping that one day I will have a farm like yours as well. And also, I want to learn your family recipe! I remember the time when I bought brussel sprout for the first time not knowing how to cook them properly.

To meet like minded people and open ourselves up to more travel around this beautiful country. We are interested in the alternative ways of navigating this life and would like to meet like minded people and have opportunities to travel and stay in the WOOF community while giving back and learning along the way. We hope to one day open up our own property to the WOOF and would love to learn about what others are doing in this space.

I always wanted to do Wwoofing. My older brothers and sisters, my cousins and my friends did it. They were all unanimous: Wwoofing is an incredible experience. Doing wwoofing would be very close to my heart because it will be four months that I have been in Australia, I would have stayed three months in Adelaide on an internship, I would have done twenty days of roadtrip and the only thing I will miss is living in the countryside and better understand the Australian way of life. This will allow me to live “like an Australian” for a while, to learn more about this country, about this culture by having an internal opinion. This will also allow me to further improve my English before arriving in France. This wwoofing experience is also important for me because I am studying agronomy and meeting various people who are concerned by biodiversity will be very enriching for me. Australia is a very different country from mine, particularly in agronomy. The climates, standards, techniques are not the same. I want to learn alongside you, whether it is your know-how, your difficulties, your profession and your lifestyle.

I joined WWOOF because I like the set up of getting great experiences in so many different kind of farms in exchange for a meal and bed and I like the topics you can choose to define the hosts that will meet the interests you have.

I would like to discover new, beautiful places where nice people work together to create something that is fit for the future and suitable for generations. I have a lot of experience with organic gardening as well as biodynamic farming and working with animals and I would like to exchange this with other people in order to gain new inspiration. With a persistent hard work ethic, I am highly motivated to participate in a WWOOFING project. I grew up in a large family where it was normal that everyone had to pitch in, which required good a communication  and. a nice team spirit. I have skills in gardening, farming and food production and would like to develop these.

My adventure in Australia has only just begun and I would like to find a job helping a family. It's an opportunity to work in exchange for accommodation and it's very important in my project. I would like to meet locals and discover their rhythm of life and the cultures of the country by integrating their home for a certain period of time

I would LOVE to live as part of an off grid community, and so I want to learn as much I can about organic farming, and alternative lifestyles. I love learning new skills!

Woofing is a great way to travel, meet new people, help people who are in need, learn new skills hands on, and find great new exciting opportunities. I am excited to experience new farms in Australia as I’ve just arrived and am looking forward to seeing the country as well
