I joined WWOOF through AIFS and l am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic& Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

Firstly, I am interested in working in nature and I want to be familiar with a farm to live on especially organic food because I usually try to choose organic food to maintain my health. secondly, I would love to meet new people, experience real Australian life and culture, and learn a lot of things.  Lastly, I would like to improve my English skills as well.

I joined WWOOF because I'm very curious about farming. No one in my family comes from a farming background or career and I would love to explore this field. I think there's something so special about growing your own harvest for not only your plate, but also to share with lots of people in the community. Cooking the fresh, healthy, nutritious food that you've just nurtured for days, weeks or months is special. One day, I hope to have my own farm and joining WWOOF is a step closer in the right direction.

I have enjoyed my WWOOFing experiences in the past, being able to stay in a community for awhile instead of hopping around from place to place. I've enjoyed the people I've met and the places I've gotten to know away from the main tourist destinations. I also find WWOOfing to be productive for my painting. In addition, I believe in communities like this that bring people together to have new experiences.

I want to have work experience for getting a job. And I want to have enough time to study english and experience australian culture for my good memory.

I have a big propriety in Goonengerry, its large farm with a lot of fruit. Its an organic farm since many years, i work also with my coffee truck on the market. i have a lot of accommodations for example bus, caravan, cabins... Its self suffisiant farm, with ducs

We live on a hillside on 3 acres 10 minutes out of Airlie Beach. Our home is very unusual, consisting of 3 yurts on poles, overlooking Conway National Park and a small slice of Pioneer Bay We are a family with, 4 fur babies, 3 dogs and a cat. We love living in tropical paradise, sailing and quiet times at home by the pool. Guests would have private luxury accommodation, with an ensuite and plenty of sleeping options.

I joined woof to meet people with different ways of thinking and doing things because learning from others is a lot quicker and easier than trying to think up ways of gardening that just don’t come naturally but also saving the time of learning what didn’t work for others instead of spending 20 years on an idea that simply doesn’t work I can learn several options for what does work and pick the best option and fit it too my lifestyle I will work hard if I have too but as Ruth stout says why do something if you don’t want to or have too

I have been interested in environmental conservation for a long time, partly because it is just reasonable 😉 but also simply because I enjoy being outdoors, go hiking and gardening. While studying environmental sciences I have done internships with organisations that work towards sustainability and tried to get different approachs to the matter. Incoorporating that into everyday life isn't always easy but I like to learn and try out ways to do that. We have had a small garden with friends for the last years, more for fun, where we tried ecofriendly methods in fruit and vegetable growing and building whatever infrastructure needed on the compound. Since our work has not always been successfull ;D and I have yet very much to learn, I am looking forward to learning new ecological methods, generally about gardening and sustainable agriculture and especially forestry, where it is possible. However, I am also just looking forward to getting to know new places, people and tasks! 🙂 In Australia I have been helping with garden work, volunteering in conservation areas and building.

We joined Wwoof because we really wanted to discover farm life, and a way of living that is more sustainable and closer to nature. We are excited to learn more about organic practices, biodynamics, permaculture, etc. We have limited scientific knowledge but we are fast learner and eager to help.

I like the idea of WWOOF . Plus a good way to give back to the community. Also unfortunately, I can not get work , maybe because I’m too old although I’m very able fit healthy , so I’m looking for more long term stay .

I joined WWOOF as I've heard that many hosts are passionate about what they do. I deeply desire to listen, learn, and help to the best of my abilities. My dream is to be completely self sufficient, off grid - yet blended with some modern technology that does not pillage mother earth's resources, or pollute her environment. I want to learn how to work with the land and its specific quirks, as well as getting involved in the specific crop or animal that we're tending to. I wholeheartedly support organic farming methods and as of 2023, I want to take the first steps through the door, in the kind presence of others whom have embarked on this journey already.

After spending 3 years working for a tourism company in Alaska, I settled on Oz as my next spot looking to get out of the rain and spend some time in the sun and sea. My biggest goal is to get a genuine experience of the country and hopefully catch some insight from locals/other travelers. I'm also looking forward to getting my hands dirty after working inside for so long (:

I joined WWOOF to come in help at the persone, animals or the nature, I wouldn't work in the engineer's domain because I am already going work in this domain a big part of my life. I would like work outside and enjoy of the nature

We expect WWOOF to be an adventure, an experience at the heart of the hosts way of life, such as discovering their trade, with the different work methods we'd like to get involved in. All the while, we share the tasks inside and outside the house (cleaning, meals...) together. We're agile with our hands, so we'd really like to help you and discover a new skill. We'd also like to improve our English by being at the heart of Australian life.

One of my biggest hopes would be the ability to work on a ranch, since i always wanted to do that in Australia! I want to meet new people too, learn about their cultures, what their life is like and how the real Australia is, apart from tourism and the bigger cities. I want to be out all day and learn new amazing things from people who love what they do. 🙂 Traveling is my passion and i hope to meet other people who feel the same. I want to grow as a person, learn more about myself, the world around me and see more, than just the inside of an office.

To get to know people and ways of living. I would describe myself as an environmentalist and am very interested in how you can live with and from the land in smaller communities. From what I’ve heard that’s a common interest with woofers so here I am.

opportunity to support an industry I believe in ... As a result of working in the organic industry and my environment studies I have become increasingly aware of issues relating to lifestyle.. in particular relating to health and fitness as well as various aspects relating to the food chain or rather costs imputs and energy required to produce food in a sustainable manner which is consistent with health of humans and our environment .. This has given me a greater appreciation of the costs of production .. not to mention the benefits of consuming food that has been produced .. In this regard, now that i have a window of opportunity to be able to spend time at the primary producer level as well as giving a little back to the organic industry ..
