I have 50 acres in Stokers Siding. 10 minutes from town and 20 minutes to the beach. I'm improving the land by clearing Camphor in targeted areas. I'm renovating buildings and establishing gardens for food production. I have a small herd of alpacas.

To see what is around in the NT where I now live after my life in Melbourne. I moved to Darwin in August 2021 and by October I found a job in Tennant Creek. I lived in a unit in Tennant Creek from January 2022 to just a few months ago. I am now staying at a friends place but he is leaving soon so I have the ability to move around. I've WWOOFed before and enjoyed the variety of people and places.

My grandfather was a and I have been interested in farming since I was a child. I would like to do work related to agriculture in the future. I want to develop my farming skills and learn how Australian farmers think. I also interested in organic faming. Because my grandfather tried to grow rice without pesticides. I would like to start thinking about what kind of farming I would ideally like to do in the future. And I believe that Japan's agricultural population is currently declining and that Japanese agriculture needs to change in the future. I want to learn about the differences between Japanese and Australian agriculture. I want to learn about agriculture but also to connect with my family. I want to share my Japanese culture and learn about Australian culture. I would be really happy living in Australia, blending in with nature.

I wish to do wwoofing for many reasons, I like this system of exchange of services and I find that sharing the daily life of people is a wonderful way to discover a country! I am also very interested in learning more, whatever tasks you need. I really want to do something with my hands, After spending years to learn and study. I'm particularly searching for outdoor jobs! I worked at a seafood company in Melbourne for 4 month. I had WWOOF as an option even before I came to Australia. Because I'd like to learn and experience about Australian agriculture in the great nature. I want to work and live in the nature and get a lot of learning and inspiration. And also I want to cherish encounters and connections with people.

To learn more about animal care around the world and help locals in conservation during my travels. I am starting an internship in September and I wanted to work with some local farmers and animal people while exploring the wonders of North Queensland.

I want to take time out, and spend time on the land as they say. I am a hard worker and want to just come back to basics. As I said above, I love different cultures and would love to immerse myself in a different culture, perhaps learn a language - on a basic level. Meeting new people is always a good idea as well. I would love to find a day or two where I can enjoy the local area.

I already have made experiences with WWOOFing when I did my first work and travel in 2014. It's a great opportunity to meet local people and to get an impression of the Australian lifestyle. I enjoy working outside, working with animals and I'm looking forward to meet friendly people all over Australia. Also we are planning to have a big garden in germany and therefore it would be helpful to learn more. My father's having a big property and he already did a lot but he's getting older and we want to support him as well back in germany.  

I want to challenge myself, learn, grow, contribute and connect. I want to explore Australia in a meaningful way- not just as a ‘sight-seeing’ tourist. I finally feel ready to pursue this long-held dream and see where it takes me…

I wanted to try something I would be interested in but unsure of how it would fit into my overall career. Aside from my landscaping/gardening experience, joining WWOOF means I am stepping into unfamiliar territory. By doing so I hope to discover new ideas, whether it be related to farming or not, and use that to better determine how I want to approach my career in international politics and environmental action.

Beautiful Village/ motel in Jindabyne located on 40 acres of land with loads of wildlife. Has not been looked after by previous owners so needs a lot of love and dedication from like minded people who are passionate about building and transforming places 🙂

I joined WWOOF with the hope of learning more about sustainable farming and to experience a life closely connected to the land. Coming from Kiruna, I’ve always felt most at home in open landscapes and I seek to live a life more connected to the seasons. Other than that, I really look forward to meeting people and being part of your culture here in Australia. I've heard so much warmth about your country and I'm sure I will come home feeling blessed and stunned to have experienced a vast land like Australia.
