WOOFING is a great opportunity to learn a lot about nature, plants and animals. I would like to support local farms and also learn about the Australian culture.

From this year, I am starting a project to open my own guesthouse in a countryside in Japan, where people can enjoy farming, Onsen (natural hot spring), and BJJ together. I would like to experience and learn about sustainable farming.

The first goal for me in joining Wwoof is improving my english speaking. I'd like to work for it and wwoofing seems to be the right solution to work, and to be with people who speak english.

I joined woofers because I will be working for a guy in a disaster area. The reason for that is to hopefully be able to get a second year on my current working holiday visa. For that I need to be able to prove my work to the australian government.

We adhere to the principle of Woofing in order to discover a new work organization and to discover the life of the locals. i wanted to learn how different people lived and interacted with the land around them in a positive way. in becoming a woofer i can learn what it means to love myself on a deeper level. i have had a dream for a while of being a farm working hand, that comes and goes from jobs learning so many different things from each place that we go to. this is the best way to do it as working in the city doesn't give me the level of clear level thinking that a country's hard-working life does. it is a way to connect with the land that my ancestors have disconnected from. it is a way to learn how different the land is for each state and town and house in Australia. This land is beautiful and rich with love and knowledge, with poeple that are waiting to be met and connect with to make a family.

Our choice to sign up with WWOOF stems from a shared passion for volunteering, sustainability and immersive travel experiences. As seasoned travelers hailing from London, we've eagerly embraced the opportunity to explore Australia's diverse landscapes while contributing to meaningful projects on organic farms. With backgrounds in science and engineering, our curiosity drives us to learn about sustainable farming practices firsthand. WWOOF provides the perfect platform for us to not only connect with like-minded individuals but also to deepen our understanding of eco-friendly living. We joined WWOOF to engage in hands-on experiences, forge lasting connections with hosts and fellow volunteers, and ultimately, to make a positive impact on the environment. We're excited to embark on this journey and look forward to meeting you!

What a good way to learn about the Australian culture than to leave with farmers! For us, WWOOF is a good exchange between our motivation to do things and your experience and knowledge. Besides, we can't stay in place, we always want to do something, give a hand and discover!

I am not going to University so instead I would like to spend a year trying different opportunities and travelling. I want to find out where my skills are best suited so that I can help others and make a positive impact in the world. I want to explore a variety of work places and venues around the world. Wwoofing sounds an excellent place to start my journey. I hope to meet new people and try different tasks and enjoy new experiences which will develop my character. I am very friendly and like to work hard and these seem good skills to support me whilst I Wwoof.

We are looking to get a real Australian experience in the outdoors and so are hoping to get some WWOOF opportunities while we are here. To grow our skills and knowledge of the outdoors too. We have WWOOF’d in Adelaide and absolutely loved it. We are looking for more WWOOF opportunities as we travel around Australia.

I think WWOOF is a great opportunity to get to immerse into different cultures, learn new languages, and connect with locals. Moreover, I can learn new skills and knowledge about farming and environmental sustainability. And of course, it makes travel more affordable.
