I joined WWOOF because I want to leave my comfort zone, share and discover new ways of living before finding a new job. I have wanted to do woofing for a long time and this is the perfect occasion to try and see how is it, seeing different landscapes than I haven't saw before.

We joined WWOOF because we are passionate about sustainable living and organic farming. By WWOOFing, we hope to gain hands-on experience, learn new skills, and connect with like-minded people. Our goal is to contribute to and learn from different farming communities, while also immersing ourselves in diverse cultures and lifestyles. This experience will help us understand more about sustainable agriculture and its impact on the environment, ultimately enriching our lives and broadening our perspectives.

Because I only heard good things about it. My uncle and friends also jointed wwoof. I hope that wwoof is a good way to find out how to connect with people and that I will be able to make new experiences in different places and activities.

Here is a new account, i deleted my previous one. I live on a small 130 year old early settlers farm with a small cottage that I am renovating. I have a small tiny home and compost toilet and currently host a small comity of two lovely girls. I am slowly developing the place and live a simple organic yoga oriented life style. have two cheeky goats two adorable cats living with us all. We are also growing veggies and fruits. I am looking for helpers that are happy to work with me. The property has been badly flooded few times, as well as all the area. There is an old shed to remove and replace, my house structure to renovate, garden to start again, fences to replace... I've been welcoming Woofers for almost 3 years already, and it has always been great experiences for everybody !

My ultimate goal is to buy a property and land, and live self sufficiently. To provide enough for myself, and perhaps contribute to the local community. I currently lack the skills to do this so I’m joining WWOOF in the hope I can help out others and learn some of these skills.

I just finished my master's in PR and Design at UNSW and want to spend a month connecting with a new environment and enjoying my last months in Australia before heading to New York City for my job. Before diving into the hustle and bustle of the city, I want to really connect with nature and learn about areas in which I have little knowledge, such as farming, which has always been an interest of mine. I've been in Sydney for the past two years and look forward to experiencing a different side of Australia through WWOOFing. One of my best friends, whom I met here in Australia, participated in WWOOFing and had a fantastic experience. Hearing about her journey inspired me to give it a try and explore this unique opportunity for myself.

I have wanted to foster a deeper understanding of the processes that go into farming for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to have parents who inspired a love of nature and curiosity for sustainable systems from a young age, which encouraged my development of many outdoor passions. I will be going to Australia after working on a ranch in Wyoming, so will be fresh off the heels of labor-intensive outdoor work. Helping out on a farm is a great way to support ecological systems and farm-to-table production, two things I are incredibly passionate about. I believe in the reciprocity of farming and home life, and wanted to pursue this interest post graduation in hopes of learning and developing as an individual.

I have been in Australia for 2 years and truly enjoying living here When I was in Japan,I could not follow my own will and mind, however as you know Australia is literally free of any thing I finally could change my mind and realized that I have right to live my life Working in farm is so special to me,I had never even imagined that happened in my life But the more I know farm, animals and organic, the more I want to work there to support them I provably want to escape from reality which is too hard to get on with for me Wwoof can give me unexpectedly good atmosphere and relax time When I was searching about Wwoof before,I found it is volunteer work A lot of people in Australia don’t want to work for free However I also recognized Simultaneously why I came to here,Australia Surrounded by greedy environment gradually changed my mind to be uglier In my opinion,to work there as a volunteer can give me a new perspective and also need to take rest for my life

We are joining WWOOF because we want to experience a new way of life and step out of our confort zone. As nature lovers, we are searching for spending more time outdoors, less in an office space. It's our first time in Australia, and we are very excited to discover it's culture and coutryside. Woofing is also a way to grow as a person and contribute to the community. We are looking forward to start our journey with you!

I have previous experiences on WorkAway and Housesitting but after staying at Aldinga Arts Eco Village I found that WWOOF is the most popular platform with the communities I'm most curious about. I hope to make some good connections, learn new skills and give in a way that is mutually beneficial.

I joined WWOOF mainly to meet new people from around the world, learn new farming techniques, and gain meaningful and memorable experiences. I have bought a small piece of land in Sumatra, Indonesia, where I plan to build a home and live as sustainably as I can through different practices. Although the climate is different I feel I can still learn a lot. I also feel it's a great way to see more of Western Australia.

I joined WWOOF because it offers the perfect balance between traveling, learning, and contributing to local communities. After my positive experience WWOOFing in New Zealand, I realized how much I enjoy the meaningful connections that come from working alongside hosts and learning about sustainable farming practices. It’s also a fantastic way to meet new people, share stories, and create lasting memories while gaining practical skills. WWOOFing allows me to combine my love for nature and adventure with a desire to give back, and I’m excited to continue this journey.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
