A 40-acre homestead and flower farm on the hillside of Mount Tarrengower, focused on sustainable growing and seasonal rhythms. Our home is multi-generational, shared with family and frequent visitors, creating a warm and communal atmosphere. Surrounded by boulders and native bushland, it’s a place of slow living, creativity, and working with nature.

I enjoy meeting people and helping fellow Permies strive to better the earth. Joining WWOOF is an opportunity to see more of our beautiful country, to experience different climes, environments and to continue learning from a wide range of producers. WWOOF’ing is a chance to change the world one organic garden at a time. Connecting with like minded people, being amongst nature, caring for the earth, growing food and sharing the harvest are fundamental to living a good life. I’m a hard worker who likes working with others and loves learning and laughing. Having competed a Permaculture Design Course in early 2022 I am keen to get practical experience seeing permaculture in action and working in different locations across the country. My friends have highly recommended WWOOF’ing. Hearing of their experiences has inspired me to become a WWOOF’er and participate in the wide ranging opportunities available to meet travellers, share conversations, learn about other cultures and better understand people, nature and how to live lightly on our precious planet.

I'd like to join wwoof to help with everyday tasks and discover new ways of working. What's more, I've always liked to have new human experiences. I integrate easily and enjoy sharing with others. Finally, it would be an excellent way of integrating into the Australian way of life once you've arrived.

To spend time in regional areas, meet new people and to learn practical skills. I prefer to keep busy in my holidays and would like to help out on farms rather than lie on a beach! I'm interested in leaving the city some day so WWOOFing offers a chance to see how people make a living away from the corporate world.

I am interested in agriculture and food because it is important for our life. I learn agriculture in university, and I want to learn abroad agriculture.I want to be able to communicate with people from other countries. WWOOF is the best tool to do the things that I really want to do! I want to learn culture of Australia, farming and improve my English. This kind of opportunity doesn’t come every day, so I can’t miss the opportunity!

I studied agriculture in high school for three years. My main job there was taking care of pigs. I had my own field and grew a lot of vegetables with my friends. I am now studying forestry at university. My dream is to have a field where we can do forestry and agriculture and create a place where people can relax. I joined WWOOF because I want to broaden my experiences by interacting with people from many countries, not just Japan. I am looking forward to making wonderful encounters. Thank you

We have already made wonderful experiences and ecounters with WWOOFing ourselves (Germany and Canada) and with meeting WWOOF volunteers at the farm we live on. We enjoy farm life and working with anmimals & growing vegetables a lot. Having the oppurtunity to work on an organic farm would enable us to really dive into Australian culture and live style. And there is always so much to learn about farming! We are courious to discover vegetable and fruit growing techniques from down under. We are looking for a farm that would host us over a longer period of time (3-4 weeks or longer) – if we are a good match – as our kids will attend school in Australia.

Hi, Me and my friend have been travelling around Australia, trying to get away from the busy life of London back at home. We would love to learn how to be more sustainable and to live of the land, so hope for experience in a farm. Growing up in the city I have tried to work with community gardens and spaces however are normally small, and effect a small community. To be able to grow experience and able to take that back home would be amazing.

To wwoof! To meet people and learn more about working on farms and get new experiences. We love to garden and be in nature and we think wwoof is a great opportunity to meet new people and to learn more about agriculture. We are planning on buying our on farm in the future and this could be a great start/test for this.

Hope to explore new possibilities while learning in company of people who are on a similar journey. We both love supporting a sense of greater community and commitment to future generations, doing what needs to be done in restoring our wonderful earth mother for a permanent future. Looking for opportunities to help out on nearby farms while we travel in our camper through coastal and outback Australia.
