I‘m very interested in learning about new cultures, meeting new people all over the world, learning new skills, being in nature and learning more about a sustainable lifestyle. Another thing and probably the main reason that motivated me to be a wwoofer, was my father, who was a wwoofer himself and had an amazing time in New Zealand a few years ago.

To learn new skills, have cool experiences, and meet people! I, Danny, am really interested in learning more about hands on work such as simple construction/carpentry and land management.Grace's interests are in vegetable gardening, food processing/preserving, beekeeping, poultry, and education. We are both also interested in understanding the wider business side of things, and keen to learn! We haven’t been in Australia long and would like to get to know Perth and Western Australia a bit better before getting jobs in the region.

I love animals. I especially love horses. I have only seen horses twice in my life. I want to live a life where I can see horses often. Even if it is not horses, I want to live a life with animals.

I've been thinking about how I want to settle down, and doing some small scale homesteading, so that I can supply myself and the family would be ideal. Growing up in the countryside, I know my way around the garden, orchards, harvesting and such, but I want to expand my knowledge. So I thought the best way to do that is to learn from the source, and ideally organic and permaculture, as I see that aligning with my own future. Another reason is it helps with budgeting my long trip. It's easy to spend a lot of money inbetween jobs, so I want to minimize where I can. I'm also keen to learn about the australian way of life, animal husbandry and such. So becoming a volunteer wwoof'er helps me in a lot of ways, as I can help you where needed.

As we are exploring Australia we have been seeing all the different beautiful areas. We would love to gain new experience in hands on environments which contribute to the running local areas.

After spending some time with some friends on their farm in NSW, I became intrigued by their stories of hosting Wwoofers. As someone who loves to travel and learn new skills, I thought that Wwoofing would be a perfect fit for me. The idea of travelling around the country, meeting new people, and gaining hands-on experience in various fields excited me.   I have always been interested in sustainable and eco-friendly practices, and Wwoofing would give me the opportunity to learn more about them. I am excited about the prospect of working on different types of farms, from small-scale family farms to large commercial operations. I believe that this experience will help me develop a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into producing food and other goods.   Overall, I see Wwoofing as a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a sustainable future. I am eager to embark on this adventure and see where it takes me.

My mum told me about WWOOFing and it just sounded perfect. I want to get out of the Illawarra and go west into the bush, learning new skills in nature and meeting new people. Overall, I'm interested in new experiences and trying things I wouldn't have had the opportunity to down here. It is a big dream of mine to be able to spend my young adult life working in the bush or on a farm and sustaining myself, but I know I need to develop some more farming type skills before I would be able to even try that, and WWOOFing seems like a perfect way to both learn how to go about that kind of thing, and to also see if the experience truly is for me.

I really want to learn more about ecology and organic farming. The way I see it, the modern food system is poisoning the general population and the planet. I lived near the Ceres Community Garden in Melbourne for a couple years, and started to make me aware of how much I food I consumed that I had not clue where it originated from. I have an urge to become really connected with growing process. Admittedly the price of rent in the Surfcoast area contributed to my decision to join, WWOOFing seems like a really good deal where hosts and workers mutually benefit.

We love hiking, trekking and being surrounded by nature. We really enjoy the nature here in Australia and love seeing how different it is from Japan. I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience. I found this on WWOOF. We want to learn about agriculture, horticulture and more, and learn more about this beautiful Australian landscape. When I return to Japan, I would like to start farming. I'm currently looking for a job on a farm. I would appreciate any advice.

We chose wwoofing because we were looking for an authentic experience in Australia. For us, wwoofing represents more than an exchange of work for accommodation; it's an opportunity to live at the heart of Australian culture, alongside the locals, discovering their traditions and way of life. This type of experience is exactly what we're looking for, to meet people from different backgrounds and learn directly from our hosts. Finally, our English is still limited, and we're convinced that wwoofing will help us progress much faster by living this total immersion.

I would love to discover the world of organic farming. I would like to learn as much as I can while helping and sharing good times with the hosts. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I love meeting new people.

I decided to join as a way to get more hands on experience with organic farming and in the environmental sector. I have a degree in philosophy, but am looking to do a master's degree in some sort of environmental studies area (like law or policy).

Firstly, since I was in Japan, I have often participated in volunteer activities that I find rewarding, and I am interested in activities in a place with a completely different language and environment. Secondly, I am interested in agriculture and forestry. I used to be active in organic farming of fruits and vegetables at a university in Japan and would like to deepen my knowledge. I wanted to join an organization like WWOOF because the type of work I want to do is in agriculture or forestry. Thirdly, since I am on a working holiday visa, I thought it would be attractive to have food and a place to stay while working. By joining WWOOF, I would like to learn about the differences between Japan and Australia in terms of the natural environment.

I'm hoping to keep myself busy as I prepare for the next steps in my life. I enjoy working outdoors with animals and with other people. I also hope to learn new skills and meet new people.
