I joined WWOOF in order to find hosts in the Queensland more easily. I'm interested in helping hosts with their farms, their animals, their kids in exchange of a room and some meal, I want to improve my English, meet new people and discover new things.

I loved being able to meet new people and share/swap stories and cultures with people from all over the world! Wwoofing has allowed me to make so many new friends and I hope to make similar memories while traveling around Australia. I hope to share a part of myself with you and make a positive impact for your family and your home

I have heared about it but Never tryed yet. So i thought, next time when i am travelling alone, i wanna WWOOF. Woohoo I would Like to learn more skills in farming, gardening and all the things that stay in Connection with outdoor and survival experience. I love to learn about planst an animals, and especially i am courisous about live selfsustainable or/and live in harmony with the ecosystem around me.

I join WWOOF because I think that's a good way to spend your time while you searching for a job. It's also a good way to understand how people live here. A friend talk to me about WWOOF so I wanted to try becuse I will leave my job to search for another one. And I don't want to go in a hostel beacause I know I will waste my time with the others bacpackers instead of searchin for a job. I aslo think it's a nice way to help people that need a hand. It's aslo doing a good thing.

I joined wwoof because i want to learn new things and would love to travel and work at the same time. I think this platform is a great oppurtunity to meet new people and visit the world. It is always great to meet new people who can show you new things or new places 🙂

I joined WWOOF to find an opportunity that can give me new skills by staying in direct contact with Aussie families, sharing the everyday life in a really help full way: the work exchange. For a traveller this is the best way to learn something, starting from the language to a job, have a roof over the head and save some money in security and in "family". Is a way to create strong relation in a saftey way, that can permit to both, the host and the hosted to grow together and share ideas and methos of working.

We have already wooffed for 3 months in New Zealand and loved everything about it! Meeting new people and learning from them was an amazing experience! We are looking forward to learning more here in Australia and meeting more new people. Furthermore, we love to do some working on our holiday aswell. Keeps us sharp and energised!

I have to do a stay in an English-speaking country of my choosing for at least 8 weeks for a cultural exchange program I'm in. The easy thing would have been to take on an internship in the UK or Ireland but I've always wanted to get out there in the world and for me, Australia is the farthest that I can go. The animals and plant life of Australia that have evolved completely separate from most of the world have always fascinated me and I want to experience your nature firsthand. I'm looking forward to experiencing all aspects of Australian culture and of course, as per my Geography studies, sustainable farming is very important to me and I look forward to learn all about it.

Because I would like to work in Australia and experience an Australian life and be helpful to people. Also, I like agriculture very much. Then, because of walking travel, I sleep outside every day. So I would like to sleep in bed!

I'm a deep believer that the food available to communities, how we fuel our bodies and how we care for mother nature all reflects in the state of humanity as a whole. Half of me joined to develop the skill that is being able to grow my own food/ gaining attunement with the land/ welcoming knowledge on how much work goes into this . The other half is looking to adventure around Australia and meet friends/ build community.

Visiting Australia has been a childhood dream of mine. I am now taking a break from my work, and want to shift towards more nature-oriented, and slower practices and ways of living. I would love to learn more about permaculture, and regeneration/ rewilding of environments.

To have a great and new experience in 2025. To learn new skilles and go a bit out of my confort zone. I always work with people and like to work more with animals. I love to be in nature and outside.

I decided to join WWOOF as it seems like a great opportunity to find accommodation across Australia, in exchange for helping others, all whilst connecting with new people from around the world, and learning from them and their cultures. I look forward to all the new experiences WWOOFing may bring, and I’m up for getting stuck in with any kind of farm work that comes my way.

We loved our wwoof experience in Canada in 2005. We stayed on several farms in Canada, wineries and animal farms. Today we want our kids to have the same amazing wwoof experience.

I am currently not working and stumbled upon WWOOF while looking for volunteering experiences. I'm looking to learn more about organic and regenerative agriculture, and help care for land in anyway I can. Beyond helping with farm tasks, I see this as a unique way to connect with like-minded people, and exchange skills and knowledge. Whether it’s helping in the garden, caring for animals, or lending a hand in any way, I’m eager to contribute and make the most of this experience!

Marty and Fiona WWOOFed in Hawaii on an organic farm pre-kids as part of a 6 month U.S. road trip in 2011 and found working the land meaningful as part of travelling and formed wonderful relationships with landholders, country and the environment we were visiting. Now 14 years later we are hitting the road again in 2025, this time with our kids, to show them the vast country of Australia. We are keen to WWOOF as a family to make a positive contribution to the places we travel to and to meet new people, see new environments, grow food and habitats and just learn from life together.

I joined wwoof to get in contact with like minded people. Especially people where i can learn from and experience their passion and love for farming, the outdoors, food, animals, sustainability and the future. I hope to learn more about permaculture, animals, sustainability, and the health benefits of food. And everything what comes with it and i dont know about yet. Last but not least to have fun and joy.

My wife and I recently received our 189 permanent residence visas. She will be starting work in Grafton NSW in the next few months once her professional registration is completed long term we are planning to have our own farm and thought it would be good to meet other farmers in the area and to learn from them what the differences are in the farming between south Africa and Australia.
