I grew up with hippy parents and spent a lot of time outdoors and in creative and alternative communities. It's definitely something I feel I've missed as a city-dwelling adult. I came to Australia both to visit friends and explore and WWOOFing seems like an incredible way to make new friends and learn more about the land. I am definitely more of a slow-paced wanderer than a tourist hitting the checklist of sights so I am hoping WWOOFing will give me the chance to get to know hosts, their land and their area in a more familiar way.

I'm looking for a healthier lifestyle, my goal for the future is to be able to achieve self-sufficiency and then open a farm, I would like to learn as much as possible about agriculture, breeding and beekeeping.

I decided to join WWOOF because I was looking for a meaningful way to combine travel, learning, and hands-on experience. I love being outdoors, staying active, and working with animals, so the idea of helping out on a farm and being in the nature draws my attention. During my travels, I’ve met people who shared their positive experiences with WWOOFing, and after reading more about it, I knew it was something I wanted to do. It’s a great opportunity to gain new skills and connect with local communities. I also enjoy working with people, being part of a team, and contributing to something bigger than myself. WWOOFing allows me to do.

I join wwoof because i like woofing. i want to live the locals lifestyle and be in contact with locals cultures. Also learning and discover permacultural techniques, and organic method.

When I was in high school, I participated in an exchange program with Santa Maria College in Melbourne, where I had the opportunity to experience a homestay in Australia. During my stay, I was deeply moved by the country’s beautiful nature and unique way of life. This experience inspired me to express what I felt through art and writing. Wanting to immerse myself further in the culture and gain more inspiration, I decided to go on a working holiday in Australia. I hope to capture the essence of my journey through creative expression and make the most of this opportunity.

Wwoof is such a special place to get varied work and life experience that you just can’t find anywhere else. I've done one wwoof before in Hawaii and a few workaways in Europe which I really enjoyed. I’m hoping for my next wwoof adventure to take me to Australia! I’ve always been interested in visiting Australia, and I think right now is a great opportunity to go! I’d love to learn more about vegetable farming and particularly seed saving and irrigation systems! From the farming program I did this past spring/summer I learned about vegetable farming basics and we were responsible for overseeing a plot through the whole season and sold our crops throughout the summer at the farmers market. This program was mostly field work but also included classroom sessions on: organic methods, soil science, and integrated pest management. Overall, I really enjoy learning about our food systems and it would be amazing to learn about vegetable farming in other climates/regions! 🌎

I want to meet new people and interesting people, learn new things and challenge myself. I love working outside and working hard and feel like wwoofing is a great way to achieve his whole also getting to know more about my home country.

I joined WWOOF through AIFS and l am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic& Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I really enjoy eating and savoring delicious drinks, but I’m particularly into healthy and tasty options. Since coming to Australia, I’ve started exploring different ingredients and beverages that are new to me, and I’ve developed a big love for red wine. I’d love to learn more about how it’s made and dive deeper into the world of wine. I’m also passionate about discovering various food cultures and learning different perspectives. Meeting new people and experiencing new things is always exciting for me. Looking forward to the chance to contribute and learn from you!

Working on Australian farms has always been something I had envisioned doing ever since a young age when my Dad told me his experiences in Australia working on farms. I hope to learn skills and gain an understanding of the roles in farming. I particularly like to gain Horse riding experience in a working environment.

Amorata Eco Farm is a mixed organic farming and tourism operation located at the foot of the Border Ranges National Park near Nimbin, NSW. We farm Limes, Pecans and Ginger with a mixed output orchard that supplies our own needs as well as those of guests. Our campground is surrounded by regenerating rainforest with a natural pool and wood fired sauna for guests and visitors to use. Woofers will have access to either a tiny home with all amenities, a caravan or a spacious bedroom in the main home. Work may range from tree planting to light gardening and harvesting. Skilled workers may find themselves well resourced to carry out special projects.

Picturesque sheep farm in the South coast NSW - 15km from town/beach - working towards a holistic-regenerative agriculture model of low production. We are looking for WWOOF's to stay with us and help care for our animals. We have 1000+ merino sheep for wool production and 20 young cows. We have a number of working and livestock guardian dogs (2 Kelpies & 6 Maremmas & a Jack Russell) that need daily feeding. We have horses, chooks & indoor fish that also require feeding. The sheep & cows will be overseen/cared for by our family that live close by - but there may be the opportunity to assist with animal husbandry, and feeding/watering - depending on the land conditions.  We are in a phase of property redesign and have some fencing projects on the agenda and we are establishing a new vegetable garden. We also run an oyster farm that we may require assistance on from time to time.Happy to talk to interested people - Thankyou
