I’m interested in experiencing dairy farming. I have no prior experience in farming, but I am willing to learn and work hard. In Japan, I worked as a nurse, so I am used to physical work and taking care of others. I would love to learn more about farm life and contribute to farm.

I’m taking a six-month break starting in November 2025 to travel and recharge after many years of studying. I’m married to an Australian, and we’re planning to move to Australia in the near future. I’ve already spent some time in New South Wales visiting family, including in remote areas, and I’m now keen to explore other states and experience what it’s really like to live here. My goal is to do something completely different from my usual environment and to acquire new skills along the way. I have a deep love for animals and would really enjoy the opportunity to work with them.

I joined WWOOF because I think this is a meaningful, valuable, and enriching way to explore a country. I hope that this experience will allow me to be immersed in the Aussie lifestyle, to learn from local farmers, and to contribute to important work. Knowing where our food comes from and participating in this process is something that I think we can all benefit from. Beyond learning practical farming and animal care skills, I think that WWOOF will help me to form connections with like-minded people from all walks of life.

We joined WWOOF to find a farm that we can possibly volunteer in as part of our school's electives programme, where we can explore areas beyond what we are studying in school! We are keen to help out in gardening, caring for animals etc. while also having fun with our hosts. We hope to share our Singapore culture and more about ourselves with hosts while also learning from them their way of life and their culture 🙂

Located in the heart of The Swan Valley with the Avon River flowing through we enjoy walking to the local wineries, kayaking, fishing, incredible sunsets & peaceful surroundings . Our property is home to Kookaburras, native wildlife, friendly goats, three adult humans, horses and cats & dogs. Previously a winery we need a hand to maintain the remaining vines, olive trees and property maintenance. The River gives us al ot of joy but also causes a lot of work in cleaning up after flooding so property clean up is ongoing. Our family is mainly four legged and we have baby goats being born in spring so need a hand giving them lots of cuddles and taking care of them. We are a strictly a non smoking property and focus on working smarter not harder. We work with elements so we offer a variety of tasks depending on the season on what people enjoy doing. Jobs include pruning vines, picking grapes, collecting firewood, helping with goats, fixing fencing, hand weeding, painting, cleaning, pickling olives, house maintenance and preparing for the change of season but if it's too hot we offer indoor jobs too. You can easily explore the local community via kayak, bike or walk with lots of local business close by, including wineries, chocolate factory, weekend markets & local producers. Bells Rapids and other hiking trails are also close by to explore. A fit for us is someone who is happy to work as a team or independently who takes pride in their work and we can trust to have in our home. We do work hard when required but we also play and relax when ever we can. We offer a few accommodation options: Independent Caravan overlooking the property with own fridge, power & wifi ( Are hoping to complete an outdoor bathroom so one of the projects) can be moved down to the river if you prefer. Space for your own campervan to park. We are a busy working family so breakfast & lunch is usually help yourself but we enjoy having an evening meal together.

I joined WWOOF because I am passionate about sustainable living and eager to learn more about farming and environmentally conscious practices. WWOOFing offers a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a hands-on experience, gain practical skills, and better understand the hard work and dedication that go into running a farm. Through this journey, I hope to achieve a deeper connection with nature, broaden my knowledge of farming techniques, and contribute positively to the projects I join. I also look forward to meeting inspiring hosts, sharing stories, and experiencing the cultural richness of life in Australia.

I first started WWoofing 20 years ago, it was great travelling around meeting people, seeing different ways of growing things. I'm looking to pick up some skills and techniques that I can apply to my own vege garden at home.

Located in the shadows of Nightcap national park, in the sleepy, picturesque village of The Channon, Djaning seeks to incorporate contemporary regenerative agricultural practices with an artistic flair. Utilising a holistically managed Permaculture mainframe with Syntropic agriculture as our driving force. Being a family farm we have an emphasis on rewilding and nature play.

We enjoy traveling and connecting with many people along the way. As we improve our English skills, we also want to learn more about Australian culture. During our time living in Australia, we have developed an interest in organic living, and we are eager to experience it firsthand, which is why we decided to join this program.

I have 6 Acres next to Lake Wivenhoe, 1 hour drive from Brisbane. The lake is (3-5 min drive and you are at the water’s edge), so this will provide convenient recreational opportunities such as swimming, fishing & boating, mount Glorious Rd is also just a few minutes away which too is a beautiful area to explore. I have at least one spare room so am happy to provide accommodation.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian organic farms, learn new skills and experience a different life style then in the city. I love working outdoors and being around animals and in the nature. It’s also a great way to meet new people, connect with the locals and see a different side of Australia while traveling.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
