Our property has 88 ha with plenty of wildlife all year long. A short 2 hours drive from Sydney and you are surrounded by the World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park. In regards to the Flood Recovery Project, we are able to validate 2nd or 3rd Working Holiday Visas. On our property, you will find a 2000 sqm garden, which we are planning to extend in the future. We are also participating in a few different projects, which protect the native wildlife of Australia. For example: we have planted more than 200 native trees on our property. Our next project will be to install water stations, which are created specifically for the Wildlife of Australia.

I joined WWOOF because I’m passionate about both the environment and agriculture. At university, I study environmental science and have become especially interested in how farming can help protect nature. I believe organic farming is one of the most sustainable ways to produce food and care for the Earth. I also wanted to experience farm life in another country, build connections with people from different cultures, and better understand how agriculture supports local communities. I hope this experience will inspire my future studies and personal growth. I am applying for a Visitor visa and plan to have it approved before finalizing any WWOOF stay. My goal is to volunteer at a non-commercial farm, learn sustainable practices, and experience local culture

I am eager to take onboard perspectives whilst in Australia. I would like to keep myself as busy as possible . Working on a farm would allow be to gain new insights and contribute to your vision. I have previously worked in large cities for a big corporation, I can transfer my project management skill-set to farm work. I would also like to work alongside other people as I perform best in a team.

Short term position available for immediate start. Happy to discuss assistance with travel costs. I can offer experience on a 10 000 acre Cattle, goat and sheep property in SWQ. Property is off grid with solar power and back up generator and is quite remote. It is nearly an hour to town. Come experience a working livestock property. Enjoy the animals and serenity of the Australian outback. Help look after dogs, horses, Guinea Fowl, cattle and goats. A Fully furnished 2 two bedroom cottage is available with wifi, power and an inside bathroom and toilet. 4 -5 hrs a day of a myriad of tasks from caring for animals, gardening, handy man, regular station maintenance and management. I joined WWOOF because I thought it was a great opportunity to experience life abroad on my own, even as a student. Some of my friends had also participated and shared many wonderful stories that inspired me. I also love nature and breathtaking landscapes, so WWOOF felt like the perfect choice for me.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
