I would like to experience and explore a lot more of Australia than just Melbourne and was told that wwoofing is the best way to do this by people that have done the same. I am a very energetic character who loves to chat and get to know people so the idea of living and working with new people is exciting. I love being outside so a lot of the jobs sound super interesting and i hope to gain new knowledge and skills whilst i stay with people.

Just travelling is too booring for me. I like to get in contact with the people in the country. I also like to do something. I do not have so much money, I am retired, and wwoofing is a good opportunity for me.

I joined WWOOF to deepen my connection to the land and the people working it with integrity. I’m aiming to step away from the overpaced world and reconnect with grounded, practical living—one fence post, garden bed, and compost pile at a time. I’m looking to broaden my skills in organic growing, animal care, regenerative systems, and sustainable building practices. I want to see how others live deliberately and sustainably—and to learn by doing, not just reading. I’m especially interested in permaculture principles, holistic animal care, seed saving, and the kinds of routines that make a small property thrive over time. More than anything, I’m here to contribute. I don’t see WWOOFing as a holiday—it’s a chance to work hard in good company, learn through service, and walk away with both calloused hands and a clearer head. If I can leave your place better than I found it, and take a few lessons with me for my own future farm, I’ll count it a success.

We both needed a break after our studies and wanted to discover new countries, cultures and spend time in the nature to do some manual work. We just finished a year in New Zealand doing mainly volunteering work and we loved it! That’s why we decided to continue travelling in the same way in other countries and we're now in Australia on a working holiday visa! We’re looking forward to meeting new people and sharing time and experiences with hosts and other woofers!

Peace Be Still is a farm with organically grown citrus, vegetables, poultry and sheep. Situated in the Chittering Valley, it is adjacent to the Avon Valley National Parks and has walking trails leading to the Park. Peace Be Still serves as a guest house, retreat centre or workshop venue. It is situated on a farm with bushland adjoining the Avon Valley National Park allowing access for extensive bushwalking. A lovely picnic and camping area on the banks of the Brockman River provides an opportunity to get away from the city and to enjoy this natural bushland setting. Volunteering includes gardening, pruning, fencing, picking fruit, feeding animals for about 4 hours a day. Our place would be suitable for couples with some self-catering with food supplied in a separate house and irregular meals with host. Mixed diet, no children, No smoking inside. Initial stay 3-5 days longer stays negotiable. Prefer stays of 2 weeks.

We are young regenerative farmers working alongside Nature. Our Regenerative farming methods are based on soil rejuvenation & creating diverse microclimates. Our focus on soil health increases nutrient density in our produce thus growing good quality food. Our mission is to connect and live in harmony with Earth; inspiring fellow families and farmers to give back to Nature, tune into the natural cycles & leave this place better than we found it. Implementing regenerative agriculture practises instead of monoculture

I want to learn more about living off the land in a loving, and reciprocal way. It's what I want to do with as much of my life as I can, and I love learning ways to do so directly from other passionate people, and the places they live in.

We are a farm-stay resort in the heart of the Walpole Wilderness area - a piece of paradise which is home to towering karri trees and the world-renowned Treetop Walk. It is the only corner of the earth where the red and yellow tingle trees grow, dating back to Gondwana. We have a fully setup small cabin for Wwoofers, snuggled beside the forest, and looking out over the block. We provide meals and firewood for the cosy little fireplace, which keeps the cabin snuggly warm. 😄 🔥  We also have a small firepit outside your verandah, which you can sit on and look out at nature. We can cook for you, or you can cook yourself, in which case we will give you an allowance to buy your own preferred food.👍  The cabin has a cooktop, stove and microwave.  It will also soon have a washing machine and dryer, so you can do your own laundry whenever you prefer. We ask for 5 hours' assistance per day  We do not work on Sundays, and can be flexible around the times/hours you would like to work each day.  There are many wonderful things to do in the Great Southern area down here in your time off. The cabin will accomodate 6, but if we have more people, we can also free up a chalet.

My life started to change more strongly as I started to think more about the environment and then decided what I want to do with my life after school. I did a voluntary year in a natural conversation area because I wanted to give nature at least one year of my life to help her. There I figured out that I love spending my time outside working. I think it is very important to get in touch with nature in any way at least. For me I continued working outside in my studies breaks. I worked there on farms in Italy and Portugal which I really much enjoyed. I’ve learned so much about gardening and ecological farming as well as permaculture. This way of producing vegetables and fruits is what drives me forward to get to know more about farming. This is why I want to go to Australia for at least 6 month to give myself the opportunity to get more practical insights of gardening.

I want to use wwoof because I think it's one of the best ways to get to know locals better and what their life looks like in their country. It's not just travelling around, you will remember the places you stayed and worked! It's important to me to also give something back to the people who live where I travel.

I'd like to volunteer on a farm because I’m looking to continue slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and learning practical skills in a hands-on environment. I really value meaningful work and the chance to be part of a community, especially one that shares a love for the land and sustainable living. I’m curious about growing food, caring for the environment, and gaining experience that could help me explore a future in this area of life. I'm easygoing, enjoy physical work, and love the idea of learning from somebody who has a genuine care for the environment.

Our beautiful sheep farm is located on the East Coast of Tasmania and features kms of pristine coastline with breathtaking views and a stunning sandy beach. Our farm is surrounded by nature reserves and we frequently see wedged tail eagles and swift parrots and other rare wildlife. We are keen to enhance the conservation value of the land through endemic tree planting and environmentally sustainable farming practices. The homestead contains several buildings and cottages that require maintenance, and we are establishing a vegetable garden and mixed fruit tree orchard.

I enjoy travelling around Australia and woofing adds to the experience. I drive a van that has been converted to a camper and look forward to getting involved with farms - this time along the East coast, Although I am in my 70's I expect to go on making compost for sometime before I become compost myself.

I joined WWOOF because I want to connect with nature and learn more about sustainable farming practices. I’m excited to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a farm community while improving my skills and understanding of Australian rural life. I believe WWOOFing is a great way to meet new people, share cultures, and live more mindfully. I’m eager to work hard, be a positive part of the team, and learn as much as possible during my stay.
