I'm most comfortable in rural areas surrounded by friendly people and ideally some animals. I'd like to get to know the Aussie lifestyle away from the big cities and want to experience different farming styles.

I am currently not working and stumbled upon WWOOF while looking for volunteering experiences. I'm looking to learn more about organic and regenerative agriculture, and help care for land in anyway I can. Beyond helping with farm tasks, I see this as a unique way to connect with like-minded people, and exchange skills and knowledge. Whether it’s helping in the garden, caring for animals, or lending a hand in any way, I’m eager to contribute and make the most of this experience!

The Knowles is 4 hectares of stunning north facing hillside over-looking the Australian mainland’s most southerly town-Apollo Bay. We love living here. And we love sharing our home with people from around the world. We have fruit trees, hazel nuts, olives, sheep, goats, bees & many, many weeds. There is always something to do and much to learn - from each other. WWOOFers share our cozy farm house in either double room or single guest room. We also have a seperate modern caravan with bathroom. We are 5 kms from town. Omnivorous folk preferred, but vegetarians are fine too. We share our home and like to get to know our volunteering guests. Volunteering is mostly gardening & looking after animals. COVID Vaccination required. Good cooks & people with a sense of humour preferred.

Looking to get back in touch with Organic movement and Permaculture network folks in Australia/Tasmania. Hoping to start or to join an organic/permie farm here or possibly, if I return, in Asia e.g. an Akihatake in Japan.

I am currently volunteering for a host in a disaster and recovery work area, and he told me about this amazing organisation and that through registering we can streamline the process of applying for my 2nd year work and holiday visa.

A friend started an organic farm near my hometown almost ten years ago, and I’ve been helping out every now and then. What I loved most was the sense of community: meeting locals, Woofers from all over the world, and feeling a stronger connection to my own land through those experiences. That time on the farm stayed with me—it showed me how fulfilling it is to work with the earth and share moments with people who care about the same values. Now I’m excited to bring that same energy to Australia, to learn, help out, and be part of something meaningful.

Marty and Fiona WWOOFed in Hawaii on an organic farm pre-kids as part of a 6 month U.S. road trip in 2011 and found working the land meaningful as part of travelling and formed wonderful relationships with landholders, country and the environment we were visiting. Now 14 years later we are hitting the road again in 2025, this time with our kids, to show them the vast country of Australia. We are keen to WWOOF as a family to make a positive contribution to the places we travel to and to meet new people, see new environments, grow food and habitats and just learn from life together.

We live on a beautiful 120 acre cattle property in the Northern Rivers. The property backs on to National Park in a very serene & quiet area with many opportunities for nature walks. We have undulating pastures as well as many treed gullies. The property has stunning views down the valley & of the Border Ranges. A great location to see the spectacular sunsets in Winter & watch the summer storms come through.

For me, WWOOFing is an incredible opportunity to truly immerse myself in Australian life. I see it as a way to feel useful to the local community, contribute positively, and learn from those who live here. By working alongside locals, I hope to better understand the culture, traditions, and daily life in Australia. Additionally, having guidance for my first steps here will be invaluable. It’s important to me to start my journey in a supportive environment where I can feel connected and have a meaningful exchange with people from different backgrounds. I’m eager to be involved in various tasks and responsibilities and am ready to put in the effort to make a real contribution. WWOOFing represents not only a chance to learn practical skills but also an experience that will help me grow personally. I look forward to this unique opportunity to make connections and friendships as I discover the beauty of Australia.

Our small plot intensive farm called MAD Rams Potager Gardens is at it infancy stage of development. We are committed to a number of farming methodologies which include permaculture/ no dig principles and Aboriginal traditional agricultural practices which we believe make a our farm somewhat unique. We are want g to create an ecologically supportive sustainable farm which has the ability to adapt to changing climatic conditions while also bring to the local community both traditional foods and introduced foods which complement each other rather than compete. We also have a beautiful historically rich spacious home which we are happy to share with volunteer WWOOFers...we also welcome volunteers to gain an understanding of Aboriginal culture and the Australian culture which makes this beautiful country unique...our farm has some challenges but we have a vision which we believe every volunteer will be able to leave an eco footprint...we hope to foster great relationships shared knowledge and some wisdom in our exchange...MAD Rams Potage Gardens will be one if the first market gardens in our area which is exciting and challenging yet definitely rewarding. We have amazing birdlife and animals we are surrounded by one if the most intact temperate forests in the world and a beautiful bay. We are also located in the gorgeous night skies of the aroura Australia lights....We chose this beautiful place because if it's dependable rainfall community and opportunity to give back to the land and eco system in keeping with Aboriginal custodial tradition. We welcome you to consider joining us for part of our journey and be part of MAD Rams establishment... We will also open our home for you to experience traditional and home cooked meals.

Delightful large suburban block near the Macleay River. Restoring gardens after 30yrs of neglect. This is the house I grew up in so it has a lot of sentimental value Establishing orchid, veg gardens, compost systems & preparing for chickens . Beautiful outlook onto cow paddocks. Need help with all of the above. I’m a 20 min drive from beautiful Crescent Head beach, half hour to South West Rocks & Port Macqaurie . I’m also a musician & pretty easy going. I’m a mad keen gardener & happy to share ideas & knowledge but also always thirsty to learn more .

Dynamic Certified Organic Farm looking for equally as dynamic wwoofers. We run a fully certified farm from fence to fence which includes lemons, limes, macadamias, avocados as the main crops and trial crops of ginger, turmeric, garlic and if we can make it work a market garden. Lots of produce packed into a small farm. We also host 2 accommodation units which are awesome, and it gives a chance to meet so many new people. On the side we are restumping the house among other little projects and fitting out an off-grid hut. We don't smoke or drink but love a laugh. There's just the three of us - me Mal, moomoo the cattle dog, and Lilly the resident cat. Its all about the positive vibe on the farm so bring a smile and great attitude and you'll feel the magic happen.

We joined WWOOF to find a farm that we can possibly volunteer in as part of our school's electives programme, where we can explore areas beyond what we are studying in school! We are keen to help out in gardening, caring for animals etc. while also having fun with our hosts. We hope to share our Singapore culture and more about ourselves with hosts while also learning from them their way of life and their culture 🙂

We have a friend and my brother who have totally enjoyed experiences working with woofing, and wanted to embrace and enjoy this culture. To see more of the world, learn and experience other worlds and lives. Meeting people along the way.
